I need to make something sweet that is both gluten free and vegan. I am neither of these things and so don't have a repitoire of suitable ecipes.

I have nuttelex, coconut flour, almond meal.

Plus most other general baking ingredients.

Any tried and true recipes?

Hello,

I make this one when I have that combination:

Just make sure you use GF baking powder.

Good luck

Gluten free vegan sounds hard. Eggs make a whole lot of GF better.

I’d have a look on quirky cookings website.

This looks doable

Also with gf butter / nuttelex etc please be careful of cross contamination by ensuring you use a brand new packet (assuming the GF person is coeliac).

I made a 3 ingredient fruit cake for a gathering last week.

I used regular flour, but it can be done with gluten free flour easily.

I did find i neede a lower oven temperature though - 140 worked better.

You could try a packet cake mix from the health food aisle at the supermarket. Most GF ones are vegan if you add oil instead of eggs. Using a packet mix will greatly lower the chance of accidental contamination with gluten. I like the Woolworths GF banana bread packet mix. You could easily add dates or nuts to it too. Pretty sure it's vegan if you use oil. I know that it's dairy free.

I’d have a look at the Oh She Glows website. Everything is vegan, and she has been trying to develop gluten free recipes and gives a lot of input on what works and what doesn’t.

Black bean brownies.  They can be gf and vegan if you grab vegan choc chips. There's A decent number of recipes around on the interwebz. I can't seem to find the one I've used multiple times.
