Brainstorming boy names and I’m stuck on Tate. I can’t figure out if I really like it or not but come back to it a lot.

Other names in the mix are Samuel or Jesse.

DS is Theo, last name is two syllables beginning with E.

Tate is what they call the skin between a guys ballsack and his butthole.

So it’s a hell no from me!!

It is but it’s also Tate according to urban dictionary

Either way it’s enough to be a no for me!

No.

Samuel, Jesse and Theo are lovely names without connotations. Tate just screams bay boy to me OP. I wouldn’t pair it with such a lovely name as Theo.

I teach a few Tates. Alluding to the other thread, I find it a bogan name sorry.

It's OK.  A different style to Theo.

Samuel and Jesse are a better fit IMO, though again Tate is OK.

I adore the name Jesse and don't mind Samuel.

I know a girl called Tate! Maybe spelled Tayte.

I'm not a fan at all.

No, is it even a name or is it an abbreviation? Nathan with NN nate would be better. But otherwise Samuel and Jesse are much nicer

Nathaniel - Nate
Samuel - Sam

I'm not a fan of either Tate or Jesse, sorry.
