Does anyone know a quick and easy and fool proof way to cook Brussel sprouts on a BBQ, instead of steamed? DH really wants sprouts on Christmas Day, I have a small kitchen & too much going on as it is, the chipolata sausages are going on the BBQ anyway so I thought he could do the sprouts out there too? He googled a recipe and it’s taken 90 mins of marinating & threading into bamboo sticks and the BBQ is not even on yet, I know I won’t cope with this on Christmas Day! Any ideas?

Slice finely lengthways (or pull sprout apart leaf by leaf). This can be done ahead of time. Then use oil (and bacon if you want it to taste good!) on high heat.
