Does anyone know a quick and easy and fool proof way to cook Brussel sprouts on a BBQ, instead of steamed? DH really wants sprouts on Christmas Day, I have a small kitchen & too much going on as it is, the chipolata sausages are going on the BBQ anyway so I thought he could do the sprouts out there too? He googled a recipe and it’s taken 90 mins of marinating & threading into bamboo sticks and the BBQ is not even on yet, I know I won’t cope with this on Christmas Day! Any ideas?

BBQ would be a pain I reckon, all the loose leaves falling everywhere would drive me insane.. but it would work if you don’t toss them too much.. cut them in half and rotate, should only take 2-3mons on high flame.

I sauté in a frying pan, 2mins max and they’re charred but still crunchy .. cut in half.. you could prep the day before, they’re quite yummy cold ! We put them in salads too sometimes

No chance you have a sizzle pan that can go on a BBQ?

Would putting them in a covered foil tray with lots of butter work? On the BBQ I mean. I don't really eat sprouts, so feel free to ignore me 😝

I don’t have a recipe but would be inclined to wrap them up in foil with some olive oil and cloves of garlic.

Roasting tray, those alfoil ones. Halve Brussels sprouts and lay cut side down. Sprinkle with chopped bacon, thinely  sliced red onion, a sprinkle of greek seasoning and a light feta crumbled over the top. Cook on low flame. Don't toss or mess about with them. They are done when the feta is gooey. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over, a handfull of chopped parsley. then toss and serve.
