Sorry I don't know why I didn't just start a thread instead of derailing a couple of others, I blame the very good drugs!

Girls came early, waters broke at 4am on NYE, so was very prompt getting to the hospital to get my c section.

They're in special care due to feeding issues, but that's not uncommon for their gestation.  Both very good sizes, over six pounds.

If anyone would like a pic, just message me your number or email address and I'll send it through :)

Congratulations again Gracie. Two girls? Identical or Fraternal? Sorry maybe you said all that at the start of the pregnancy - and no need to answer if you don’t want!

Over 6pound each is a fabulous size. Sounds like they were determined to be 2019 babies.

Do you have any on your shortlist?
What’s your style? Do you have any requirements (eg easy to spell or short or long or must have a nickname or not top 50)

I saw the subject in we are discussing and hoped it was you.

Congrats!  I nearly said to you the other day that your babies would be able to say they were born in the twenties.

Now I'm wondering if their birth date was 31/12/2019 or 1/1/2020?

Congratulations Gracie.  Wonderful news.  If we'd had another girl I would have wanted to call her Bronte or Ebony.  No idea if that's a style of name you'd like. I hope you recover quickly from the csection and can get a bit of rest before you all go home.

Omg wonderful news, congratulations!

For girls names I’ve always been partial to Elizabeth and Cassandra.
