They are all ok. I'd wait until he's born and see which one feels best then.

None are my style. Xavier is over done. I like Ashley a lot but not Ashton.

Lawson or Ashton. Finn is insanely popular (but sweet), Xavier is also popular but I can't see the appeal of it.

Ash is such a sweet nickname. Ashton is one of my least preferred Ash- names, but still nice. Lawson is really lovely and not overused.

Finn! I love it and wished I used it, hubby vetoed it.

Finn.  Standout.  Love it.

Just fyi. The reason I didn't go with Xavier was that when I even mentioned it as a possibility people would say "EX - avier". Drove me mad so I gave up on it. Great name otherwise.
Lawson is cool.

Lawson is cool.

I know someone who named their son Xavier and pronounces it, Ex-avier.

Makes my eye twitch.

Finn would be my first choice.
Then Xavier if you pronounce it properly and not Egzavier - then it would be my last choice.
Then Ashton.
Then Lawson.

Finn for me. I've never heard of anyone named Lawson but I quite like that too.

I vote for Ashton. Simple but not too popular and an easy nickname of Ash. Finn is very popular which puts me off a little, and pronounciation differences in Xavier would annoy me. Lawson not my style.

Whatever you choose will be perfect once he’s born and in your arms :)

Finn. I love the name Finley more but Finn on its own is a great name. Next pick would be Ashton.

Media release for Vic names today. None of these in Top 10 for 2019.  For 2018 top 100 Xavier comes in at number 20, Finn at 42 and Ashton at 97.

i wouldn't take any of this into account but it's fun looking at the lists.

Thank you everyone!! It really is such a personal preference.

The pronunciation of Xavier has already divided my husband and I (I think "Zavier" he thinks "Ex-Xavier") I feel like it would be constant correction for me and then the little man.

The popularity of Finn has me a little concerned too but is popularity really a bad thing?

In saying that I really do want to avoid top 10 names though.

None are my style really but at a push I’d pick Xavier.

I love Finn. I wanted this name for my DS but couldn’t get DH over the line.

Lawson is cool. I haven’t met one of those. It is a chain of convenience stores in Japan, but I don’t think that is a negative or positive association.

I really like Asher.

All good names.

Lawson is cool. It's easy to say/spell. Not common but not weird at all.

I really like Finn but would probably go with Finley and use Finn as a nn. Also love Flynn.

I like Xavier but the mispronuncation would be annoying. I know of someone who used the Zavier spelling to avoid the problem but I prefer the original spelling.

Not a huge fan of Ashton.

Good luck deciding :)
