About a year ago I had a scan for an unrelated issue and it was discovered that I had four fibroids.
Since then, my periods have been getting progressively heavier and I've also started mid-cycle bleeding too, though only lightly.
I'm just wondering if and when fibroids become a problem.
What are your experiences?

I had uterine polyps and they did similar.
When i'd bled for about 3 months, getting heavier and heavier(but never painful) I saw a gyno and had them removed.

So to me, if they bleed they're a problem.

I’d start seeing a gyno about the mid cycle bleeding. It could be from various causes.

I’ve just had uterine artery embolisation done for a fibroid- it worked really well, but tipped me over into menopause
