Has anyone used this product before?  It seems I can only get it online.

I'm particularly interested in the torch for detecting where the urine is.  I'm currently only using the sniff test and I'm not a fan.

It's my old girl cat,  the cortisone shot seemed to right her but now she's starting to wee in the wrong spots again so I think I understand the pattern now. It's her way of telling me she not feeling well again.  (Before her fits I thought it was  anxiety about the new cats.) I'm calling the vet today.

The torch is a black or UV light - you know, the purple ones that make white glow in the dark. You could possibly get something similar fairly easily - I got some at a store in the ACT for DD's science project.

Enzyme based cleaners - BioZet, original Napisan (for nappies) do the same thing - they break down the proteins that cause the problem smells (also, the protein that glows under UV lights).

So yes, this product and torch should work, and you can get the equivalent without ordering online.

Yes, we have an old version of this one. The ultraviolet light is very good. Generally these days I use bi-carb hydrogen proxide and vinegar to clean wee in carpets.
