I'm looking for recommendations on easy to use photo book services.

I've spent many hours on the Officeworks site creating a lovely album for my mum's 80th only to have it bomb out twice. I'm now out of patience and time with it.

So tell me your best experiences with photo books please.

Great quality! I've found their customer service very good also.
I've used snapfish as well and feel that momento is much better quality. I do a momento book every year.

I found Kmart ( Snap fish) and Big W are great. However you do have to do them online, best on a computer. However you can save often and come back to them, so can create over a few sessions. I like free delivery to store as well.

Apple used to do the best ones IMO - via their photo app - iPhoto - they had great templates and formatting. but they stopped the service. i’ve tried snapfish and it was *ok* but i wouldn’t rave about it. might try Momento.

Over the years I have used camera house, teds professional, vista print and snapfish

I wasn't happy with the paper on camera house
Teds professional was great but expensive
Vista print the green was a bit fluro
Snapfish I would use again and is a good price

I don't use the instore ones because the templates are fixed and I want more creative control so use the online ones.  Snapfish you can save frequently so you don't loose your work and you can go back to if you don't want to finish in one go

Good luck
