I am after recommendations of card games or board games for 9yo DD.  She is very impatient so it can’t be anything too complicated or long and she’s also a sore loser.  Now that we have so much time at home, it’s time to teach her how to lose gracefully!! 🤣

Any suggestions?

Exploding Kittens is great.

Phase 10 is great too because you can start and stop between phases.

Monopoly Deal

Azul - tile game

Top Trumps - can be a bit ‘never ending’, but we set a timer for a quick game

Latice - tiles, learn to play videos and super simple to get started, but multifaceted and can get more complex/strategic as you improve.

Quiddler is really good, it’s like a card game version of scrabble. Suits all abilities (score as many points for short, easy words as you do for long difficult ones) and everyone scored points each round which makes it easier on the sore losers!

Mole rats in space. It’s cooperative so either everyone wins or everyone loses but it is challenging and you have to work together and think ahead.

We tried this when camping and the kids couldn't get their heads around it :(  Might give it another go.
