I’m looking at purchasing some shoes from the USA but they don’t deliver to Aus.

My cousin lives in Florida and can purchase the shoes, have them delivered to him and then deliver them to me.

FedEx seems very expensive. Has anyone had items delivered via another carrier or the US postal service? Any advice?

Otherwise are 3rd party services (for purchase and delivery) worthwhile?

Thanks

I use My US service every few months and have been happy. They have the full service of providing a US shipping address and forward to Australia. I've ordered shoes and handbags and paid between $30-$60 USD for the shipping and service from memory.

I use DHL but I find it to be more expensive than FedEx.

I like it because they’re very reliable, efficient and in my area, I can have it shipped directly to a convenient hub for collection if I know I’m unlikely to be home. Much better than having to trek out to some of the inconvenient collection stations.

I’ve used hop shop go for the last 15 years, they are quick and reliable and can either buy for you or just be a forwarding service - have a look at their costs on their website
