My DD just turned 1 and is still in her hammock. I anticipate she'll be in it for at least
another 6 months. There is still plenty of room for her and she loves it! I tell you once they learn the hip action to get it bouncing, there is no stopping them! LOL.
I say keep going with the hammock and don't concern yourself with the transition to the cot. We bought a cot in anticipation of having to move DD over to it. But then we thought why do we want to move her? She's happy, she's sleeping, why change that?! So, until she shows signs of not liking the hammock, she'll keep sleeping in it.
So unless there is any particular reason for your DS to be in a cot, why fix it if it aint broken? Jacqueline
- you may find that your DD has just reached an age of more awareness, thus fighting to go to sleep. No doubt it would happen in the cot as well. At least with the hammock you have the advantage of easily being able to bounce her, instead of leaning over in a cot patting her bum! lol.
