IT WAS 11.30AM WEDNESDAY THE 7/8/02 MY HUSBAND MY 2 GIRLS AND MYSELF WERE ON THE WAY TO THE BEACH WHEN I STARTED HAVING CONTRACTIONS THEY WERE 10 MINS APART WE GOT TO THE BEACH AND WE DECIDED TO HAVE SOME LUNCH WELL THAT DID NOT GO DOWN WELL. IT WAS NOW 12.30PM AND I TOLD MY HUSBAND THAT WE BETTER GO HOME AND CALL MY MOTHER IN LAW AND GET READY TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL SINCE WITH MY 2 GIRLS I ONLY HAD A 3 HOUR LABOUR.  WE GOT TO THED HOSPITAL ABOUT 1.20PM AND MY CONTRACTIONS WERE ONLY 2MIN APART THE ABOUT 4.30 PM STILL NO BABY THEY DONE AN INTERNAL AND THEY COULD NOT FIND MY CERVIX OPENING THEY FINALLY DID AND I WAS ONLY 2CM AFTER I HAD THE INTERNAL MY CONTRACTIONS STOPPPED.  WE WAITED FOR 1/2 HR AND THEN DECIDED TO GO HOME BUT BEFORE WE DID THEY PUT A FEOTEL HEART TRACE ON THEN THE CONTRACTIONS STARTED AGAIN SO WE WENT ALL NIGHT HAD A PETHADINE SHOT AT 2.30AM ON THE 8/8/02 SO I COULD TRY AND GET SOME SLEEP THAT DID NOT WORK SO THEN AT 7.00 AM THAT MORNING THEY DECIDED TO CALL THE DOCTOR AS I WAS STILL ONLY 2CM DIALETED AND THEY STILL HAD TROUBLE FINDING MY CERVIX OPENING THE DOCOTOR GOT THERE ABOUT 7.45 AM AND DONE AN EXAMINATION AND FELT A HAND OR FOOT AND SENT ME OF FOR AN ULTRASOUND TO SEE WHAT WAS GOING ON AND TO FIND OUT WHAT HE FELT SO AT THIS TIME MY HUSBAND AND MYSELF WERE PREPARING FOR THE WORST BUT LITTLE DID WE KNOW THE WORST WAS YET TO COME . WE WENT FOR ULTRASOUND AT 8.30AM AND FOUND OUT THAT THE BABY WAS A FOOTLING BREECH AND THE BABY HAD HIS FEET IN MY CERVIX THEN WHEN I GOT BACK ON THE TROLLEY TO GO BACK THE THE LABOUR ROOM MY WATERS BROKE AND THEN THE PAIN INCREASED DRAMITICALLY I NEVER SEEN ANYONE MOVE QUICKER THAN MY HUSBAND AT THAT PONT WE REUTRNED TO THE BIRTHING SUITE AND THEY WERE PREPARING ME FOR A CESEARN I WAS CUSRING AND SWEARING AND MY HUSBAND WAS SO CALM HE WAS MY STRENGTH I TOLD THEM TO HURRY THEY FINALLY GOT ME TO THE OPERATING THEATRE WERE THEY HAD NO TIME TO GIVE ME ANY ANETHESTIC WHEN I HAD TO PUSH THEY RUSHED IN THE SPECAILIST AND THEN I STARTED TO DELIVER HIM NATURALLY IT WAS THE MOST PAIN FULL WAY , MY FEET WER IN STIRUPS WITH A NURSE WITHER SIDE ANTHESIATES AND NURSES AT MY HEAD AND PEADS AT THE SIDE WAITING FOR THE BABY AND MY HUSBAND WAS IN THEIR SOMEWHERE ALL I CAN REMEBER WAS THE MIDWIFE HOLDING MY SONS FEET ABOVE ME AND THE SPEACLIST WAS CUTTING ME AND PUTTING IN THE FORCEPS AND TWISTING THE BABYS HEAD AROUND TO REALESE THE PRESSURE SO THAT THE PLATES IN HIS HEAD DID NOT POP AND CAUSE A BRAIN HEMORAGE. THE DOCOTRS WERE SO GOOD MY SON IS PERFECT AND HE WIGHED 7LB 1OZ AND 49CM AND 21/2 WEEKS EARLY HE WAS BORN AT 9.58AM ON THE 8/8/02  MY HUSBAND AND MY SELF ARE SO GRATEFUL TO EVERYONE THAT WAS THERE AS THEY WERE GREAT AND FOR OUR SON FOR GIVING SUCH A HORRIFIC DELIVERY HE IS JUST SO BEAUTIFUL
