Hi,

Don't know if any Jan girls are still around but thought I'd pop in and say Hi.

Sharon... I had a look in the last thread and can't believe that Samantha is 1 already. Wow, times goes quickly.

Alana is doing well. She is very good with using the potty now and even doing number 2's in there which is fantastic.
She is still extremely fussy about what she eats so we give her Pentavite on a regular basis.
I can't believe she will be starting at preschool next year. Real school!! Wow!

Sean is 19 mnths now and doing well. We had to see a paed about a heart murmur he has and the paed ended up finding another sound that he wants to check out so Sean is having an echocardiogram in a few weeks time.

On the 23rd of this month, Alana and Sean are flowergirl and pageboy at my BIL's wedding. Alana can't wait to wear her pretty dress and is very excited about it. She is even allowed to go to the reception so she's a very lucky girl. We are getting one of the girls from childcare to babysit Sean and I'm so relieved that she can do it as Sean loves her and she is really nice so I will be able to relax at the wedding knowing that he is in safe hands.

well, gotta run.

Hi Sharon. no, I'm not in QLD. I'm in Canberra.

I'm glad to hear that Jack's operation was a success. It must be such a relief to have him sleeping better.

Yes, it's hard to believe that in another year they will be at kindy isn't it. Alana is going to do a couple of days at preschool soon and will go to her childcare for the other 3 days. I'm about to start looking for a new job as I found out that my job is about to disappear. Oh well, that's restructuring for ya. I'm sure everything will work out OK.

take care,
Gill

Hi everyone!

Bethany is such a big girl now. Starting prep next year, which she is really looking forward too. She is such a lovely girl, I am so proud of her. She is very caring, and loves her little sister very much.

Hannah is a little tomboy. Has to do everything that Bethany does. She absolutely adores her. She gives wonderful cuddles, which I lap up.

I am expecting baby number 3 on the 25th December! Very early days yet. It came as something of a surprise.  ohmy.gif  So I will be around the boards a bit more often from now on.

Seeya later.

Hi,

Congratulations Mel!! What a Christmas present!! biggrin.gif

Alana is really enjoying preschool although it feels like she has missed a lot of it due to illness  sad.gif  She was home sick today and on Friday and now I've picked up her virus so feel rather crappy but also stressed about probably needing to miss another day of work tomorrow. I'm contracting now so means no pay if I'm not working but i also worry about what the boss thinks. I shouldn't stress about it...but can't seem to help myself.

Other than the usual childhood illnesses, Alana is doing really well. She is lots of fun and pretty well behaved. Alana and Sean get on pretty well most of the time.  grin.gif  Sean loves doing everything that Alana does, even if it means dressing up in fairy costumes. For some reason, my FIL gets quite upset when Sean does that... I wonder why  laughing2.gif

Sean is being a little devil at bedtime at the moment. I'm currently sitting in Alana's room as she gets scared on her own. DH is with Sean and i can hear Sean crying and trying to run out to the loungeroom. He tries to delay it by telling DH that he needs  a cuddle from Mummy so I go in, give him a cuddle and then Sean thinks of something else to ask for. DH gives into it which I keep telling him he really shouldn't as it just encourages worse behaviour the next night. Kids learn soooo fast.

This is my last year of study which I'm very happy about as it causes way too much stress for me at the moment with trying to juggle it with work and kids. I also feel that I don't get to do as much with the kids as i would like. So at the end of this year I'll be a very very happy person.

Well, I better run. Alana is now asleep and I should do some study although I'm tempted to have another night off due to feeling rather ordinary.

Hope everyone is well.

cheers,
Gill

blink.gif wow a baby due on xmas day hopefully you either be early or late , that would sux having a b'day on xmas day, sorry.. but it would.lol.

OMG i have been doing sooo much,
my mil died then two weeks later my bil died of lung cancer he only lived 5 weeks from when it was diagnosed, sooo sad, had real hassles at my work death threats and all sorts, so i have left, i just got back from qld went there for mums 60th went ot the casino for  dinner and show, got back and we have just moved last w/end so its still a mess.
I also started a new job, its okay but NO stress so thats the main thing! biggrin.gif

Jack was very saddened with the passing of his great mate and uncle "gus" and of course his grandmother, not sure if he still fully understands it all, we had the funeral on a day when he was at school, both times , didnt think it was right for him at such a young age to see so much sorrow, so we decided against it.
Apart from that hes going good, can write his name and can write the numbers from 1-about 15, so thats something!
anyhow its late and i must choof off..

Sharon....How are you going?

Anyone else still coming in here?? Hellooooo

Things are good here. DD starts Kindy next year and we are going to the school info session on Thursday. I feel all nervous about her starting kindy. Just seems a big step from childcare and preschool for some reason.

Hope everyone is well. take care.

Hi all,

Everything is very good at my end.

I had Angus Jacob Logan on the 01-01-08. He is a good boy and the girls seem to love him very much already.
