Was talking to some of the girls at the meet today about what we make for tea, and it looks like some of us are fast running out of ideas, so I thought we could post on EB what we are having for tea to give others (like myself) some inspiration.
If there is anything real yummy we could put the recipe up in the recipe thread (if it's still there )

Very plain and boring in this household tonight. Because dh isnt coming home until late tonight, no cooking in this house.
The kids had noodles and i had a frozen pasta meal. And will be soon topping it off with a hot chocolate and ice cream with ice magic.

We had a bbq - DH cooked chicken wings, patties, sausages and potato. I whipped up a very sloppy salad with what i had left in the fridge.
Great idea Saira - will be watching this thread with interest!!

I cheated and had fasta pasta because DH isn't home and I didn't feel like cooking (and Jaimie didn't invite me to her BBQ <_< )
A fave of mine though is chilli, lime and coriander chicken with brocollini (or mixed asian greens) and rice. really quick and easy

I cheated and had the same as Jaimie, lol, thanks Jaimie! Sorry Kylie !

Well I had steak on the Foreman grill (7 minutes)
and Carrots, zuccini, brocoli and califlour in my steamer (5 minutes)
and a packet continental side dish cheesy pasta. (8 minutes)
Dinner in our house is pretty simple most nights seeing DH is at work and it's only myself and the kids to feed.
And.... it's NO dessert for the kids if their food is not eaten. Tonight we had canned pears and custard for dessert. mmm

Well, I have a chicken roasting in the oven with lemon and garlic stuffed up it's bottom!!
The smell is divine!
Was going to do veggies and gravy etc, but as it is so sunny, we are having baked potatoes and salad instead.
Not very exciting, I'm afraid, but very yummy!
I like this thread a lot, and imagine I will be a regular poster
ETA: I'm with you Mel. No pudding if everything's not eaten.
We have a great lemon meringue left in the fridge atm though, so I will be eating some of that later, whatever happens. LOL

DH and DS are out for dinner tonight so I'm either gonna open a tin of chicken soup, or I might even whip up a pot of potato and leek soup. Very exciting!!
