Does anyone know if / where you can buy a christmas outfit for a newborn baby? Like a little santa outfit or something. I thought it might be cute for photos.
Thanks in advance.

My sister seems to dress her little ones in a festive spirit every year, and I think she just finds them in the local shopping centre.
I saw a couple in DJs last year, and also in a large chemist - you know the type that seem to sell everything?!

I brought DS a T-Shirt (then 4 months) from Big W last year...they may have had Christmas outfits also. I've seen them in discount shops also (saw them both in Sydney last year and already in Perth this year). I saw the cutest little elf outfit for a newborn last week in a discount shop. Not sure where you are but i'd try one of those cheapie shops first.

I'm in Sydney - do you think it's too early to go start looking?
Thanks for your replies.

I was in Myers today and in their children/babywear section they have heaps of Christmassy bibs and clothes for babies.

I saw a santa outfit and a little elf outfit in the Reject Shop last week, not sure where you are, but we are in NSW. They were only $15, not sure of the newborn sizes, but I saw some that would fit my 9 month old and smaller....The elf outfits are really cute.

Someone gave my DD a christmas jumpsuit last year. Was great - although she only got one wear out of it of course... I'm hunting for the same one this year, so I can put them in a memory box and say what size she was this year compared to her first ever christmas when she was 3 days old!
It was from target.

I hope the photo turns out as I don't know how to attach a photo to this site. I bought my 7 month old this very cute santa outfit today at a discount shop in Crows Nest for $5.95!
Ok just tried it and it didn't work. Can anyone tell me how to post a picture???????

I saw one today at KMart for $7. Target also had some for about $15.

I haven't read the whole thread so don't know what has been suggested but kmart, Target, myer, aldi and big w all sell christmas outfits

Kmart has them - Santa 'suits' for boys, and Dresses (with tule skirts) for girls

Big W have them every year, or if you want something unique ask a sewer to make one for you. We did Christmas Tshirts last year but this year the kids are being made something, for the boys a Santa shirt with some pin stripe shorts and for DD I am making her a dress, very ruffly of course!
