..... Oh crap silver!!!

Jackie- Don't feel bad. Clayty had nights like that too. Babies don't always do what the "should" do. I'm a pretty soft mummy. I don't have strict routines or anything. Both boys still sleep in our room....... I hope that makes you feel a little better.

Mers - My dogs always have doggie dreams, it is so cute.

Yesterday I emailed Babies Galore because my KinderKot didn't arrive. They emailed me to say that the Courier has it scanned in their system but can't find it. Yay for me. mad.gif

They said it was dispatched 20th October. They are sending me another one. I am going on holidays soon and I need it, hurry up silly couriers.

I took some pics of Hunter yesterday in his christmas shirt and antlers. They are cute, but he wasn't very co-operative, so i didn't get the great smiley shot that i wanted. Oh never mind, they'll just have to do.

I'll post some after I upload them.

Leanne - Oh crap, we didn't make it to 200 posts. We were close though! biggrin.gif

Meredith - Days sleeps, I have to wake Joey up around 7am (poor thing) so I can drop her off at my mums and go to work. She normally sleeps in the car and then again when she gets to my mums and she sleeps until around noon!  ohmy.gif Then she has a nap at 1:30-3:30 or so and then normally doesn't sleep until around 6:30-7:30 which is in the car on the drive home. After we get home I give her a bath and bottle etc and try to get her to bed around 9.. but as I said to Kirsty, she just wakes up after a few hours.  sad.gif

I guess this kind of sleeping pattern is good if I didn't have to go to work.. then I can stay up late and sleep in.. Tounge1.gif

Kirsty - Do you all sleep in the same bed? Joey is sleeping in our bed as well, which might also be why she stays up so late, because DH doesn't go to bed until 3-4 in the morning!  wacko.gif

Jackie - I am at a loss to know how to get Hunter to sleep any earlier than about 10pm-11pm. He falls asleep in his pram and then I transfer him to his cot around that time. But as long as he sleeps through the night I don't mind. I am not strict with routines either, I still feed on demand, and I don't care what the ECHN has to say about that. (i just had to add that because they grate on my nerves.)

SO don't worry about it. It won't last forever, one day she'll completely suprise you by going to bed early.  tongue.gif

Jackie- Clayton slept with us until about a month after Preston was born. So he was about 18 months. P reston sometimes sleeps with us but normally they both sleep in port a cots. Dp is the one that likes them in our room. He is such a softie!

ETA- Britt is right, Clayton goes to bed at eight now with no fuss and sleeps through. He started that at about eight months.

Britt - Thanks for the reassurance. I think I am just concerned because she used to go to sleep early and then SIL being here and us going out at night all the time kinda somehow shifted her bedtime. I don't really mind her sleeping so late, I just worry she doesn't get enough sleep because I have to wake her up so early plus it interferes with my sleep! Tounge1.gif

Kirsty - LOL! My DH is just like your DP! I keep saying I want to put Joey back in her cot but DH likes her sleeping in our bed. Only thing is I worry he will squash her one day. This morning I woke up and he was sleeping with his hand under his head, his arm was on top of Joey's arm and his elbow was on her head, well maybe above her head, not sure!  <_<

ETA: Kirsty, I hope Joey will be like Clayty and will just go to sleep early one day by herself....

Jackie-I used to wake up and Clayton would be snuggled against Dp back and they were both facing away from me...so cute! Clayton is such a daddy's boy, I think Preston will be too. It's nice because DP's dad wasn't around when he was a kid. I think that's why he's so soft.

OK I really better go do something....I have to go organise myself for playgroup!

2 pages already!
Jackie - Lola is in bed with us still. DH and her have cuddles all night, very cute! However, i think im going to try and get her back into her own room tonight. Dh is anti CC, he says Im cruel (jokingly), but i am really over her waking up every 2/3 hours...Not sure if i am strong enough to do it by myself tonight....
Just got busted by the boys - they are meant to be watcching a video - reproduction - what a joy to teach to 15 yr old boys.
Ok off to be a better teacher.

Rhiannon Ė the most zach will take is 150 and some times he flat out refuses his last feed at 6ish so only has 4 bottles a day I donít think its anything to worry about it like my doc said itís a good thing that he isnít a milkaholic.

Iím still catching up on yesterday morningís posts so these personals might seem quite behind.

Mers
Great about Chelsea going into her cot overnight.

Steph
Itís good to see that Mik is enjoying being back with her Daddy.

QOTD Ė Bubs Not Having Night Feeds
I donítí know the answer to this and I like to be able to say Oliver wasnít having a night feed anymore but he is unfortunately. He slept through from 2 months  until 4 months. It was great. But ever since then itís almost guaranteed that heíll wake up at least once. At least though after the feed he always goes straight back to sleep and self settles. I wouldíve thought that heíd get the sleeping through thing by his age. If anyone has any tips to aid the sleep through Iíd certainly welcome them.

Leanne
Love your new sig. Millie is lovely. Iím a big procrastinator when it comes to study. Iím not looking forward to it next year.

Secret Santa
Getting excited now. Looking forward to seeing who I get on the 12th.

Jules
Thatís exciting about opening an eBay store. And you should definitely not listen to anyone about saying Ella should be crawling. Everyoneís different and I am sure sheíll do stuff in her own good time. She was premie after all.

Kylie
I am jealous you will have nice cold winters. I love winter and get disappointed Brisbane just doesnít have one. I think Iíd love to live in Melbourne or Canberra for the weather. I use messenger a lot and also skype. Itís a lot of fun. I put my name down for the msn group on here but havenít heard back yet.

Chris
Good luck with the Baptism on the weekend. Good to hear from you. You sound like such a busy mum.  I guess having four kids will do that.

Rhiannon
You could try a different formula but then that mightnít be the reason she doesnít take the formula. Oliver was originally on Karicare Gold and then Nan HA Gold. He like the Nan a lot more. Now heís on that specialist formula for his excema and he is just getting used to it after three weeks. I wish bubs could speak and let you know why they arenít having all there formula!! LOL

Shari
Great about your parents being here. Canít wait till Freestyle either. It will blow my WW but who cares Ė you have to treat yourself once in awhile donít you? Well thatís what Iíll tell myself.

Kirsty

Good luck with the TT. Iíve heard that can be a really trying time. My niece used to take off her nappy during daysleep and smear poo everywhere whilst she was being TT. Sorry for TMI. My poor sister.

Iíve just been trying to post this in the old thread. Wondered when weíd get a new one.

Well I'm going to try and reload more photos onto my computer. I think it's goign to take awhile.

Kylie
I'm going to PM you re the Tupperware.

Morning girls!
Just very quickly for me as Milly is whinging a bit

Rhiannon, the formula you are using could just be satisfying Bridget - if you are offering her more she would take it if she wanted it. If it isn't upsetting her digestive system then I would stick with the one you are using rather than swapping (does that make sense?)

LOL, Jeannie - you get back to teaching reproduction! hehehe, I bet the boys are a bit embarrassed about it too! original.gif

Sleeping times Milly goes to bed about 8pm and sleeps through until 6am with her dream feed. I am going to be brave and try to cut that out tonight....  ohmy.gif

Hi girls!

Aren't all our bubs funny little ducks with sleeping?!  Vienna sorted out her own bedtime (around 7 p.m.) although we tried keeping her up later so she would sleep through, just didn't work.  I had to get up to feed her at 2.30 last night,  wacko.gif , just after we had our 3 nights in a row of sleeping until at least 5.30a.m.  I could have tried to settle her for longer, but I knew if I fed her she would go straight back to sleep, and I could sleep too! Bad mummy..  Vienna always self settles when we put her down to sleep.  She never cries.. crazy.  She just loves going to sleep on her own.  She won't fall asleep if I'm holding her.

Ok, little miss is 'crying for her supper'.. haha maybe I should have called her Olivia (Oliver)..

Bye

Love kristi and Vienna

Well my head is quite sore this morning.  I didn't get home until almost 1am this morning.  We had such a good night though.  I only had 2 1/2 glasses of wine and I have a really bad head ache.  In fact the last few days I have been feeling a little off and have had really bad heart burn so I am now ultra paranoid.  Mainly also to do with the fact that another one of my g/f's from my Mothers Group announced last night that she is pregnant too.  So exciting.  In fact you might remember her.  Her name is Rachel (rachelgc) she used to post in our Due In May group but had little Devon 3 weeks early.  Well she is pregnant again.  So two of the mummies are due to have their 2nd bubs in June/July!!  Cluck cluck cluck

Shari/Dani/Kylie- Have fun at Freestyle, sounds devine.  I must be really slack at reading posts lately because I totally missed that you girls where going because I would definitely have joined you.  I have the worst sweet tooth.

Jules-I know it's easy to say but please don't get too upset about Ella not crawling yet.  You have to base her age on the 'corrected age' because she was premmie so I think she is doing just fine.  Like everyone else has said, every baby is so different and that's what makes it wonderful.  How boring would it be if we were all the same.  They say that by the time kids are about 2-3 they all even out.  So don;t be too worried about it.  Your Ebay store idea sounds great, how exciting.  I know I will definitely buy some maternity clothes from you next time.  Can't wait to hear all about it.

Britt-Oh can't wait to see Hunter's xmas pics.  I'm going to do Coopers this morning when he wakes from his nap.  Maybe I will feed him first so that way he is happier LOL original.gif

Corri- Glad you liked the sigs!  If you want some with recent pics just PM me the link to some more photos and I will make you some!  I would have done a Tupperware party for you but I have promised a girl I used to do it with that I will have one for her for record breaker week.  Sorry !

I can't believe how many posts we managed to get to yesterday, crazy  wacko.gif

Oliver is the same. He just won't fall asleep in my arms. He has to be in his cot. It's pain when we go out at night as he just stays awake the whole time these days but at least he sleeps in his cot. He must think that's his place to sleep.

Beck
Pity you missed that we were going to Freestyle. You could always still make it.
