I never replied to this.

same-sex couple, using donor sperm.
PCOS. AMH was 28, so quite high for my age (mid thirties).

After TTCing, we moved on to medicated IUI (x 5). BFN.

1st IVF cycle:

Used the nasal spray, Puregon, double trigger shot
19 eggs retrieved, 18 fertilised and 18 made it to day 2
2 day transfer, 2 embryos
The remainder frozen at day 5 (9 remained to day 5)
HCG 10 at 10 DPO = BFP
Ended up with OHSS, hospitalised for over a week
One baby
Heavy bleeding at 8 weeks pregnant, hospitalised, but okay

Baby born last year :) IUGR due to preeclampsia, but doing well.

I am 14dpo and 7 days post trigger (Ovridel 250) after doing IUI. I have two positive hpt! I think this means I am pregnant? The Ovridel should be out of my system by now? What do you think?? If so, best Mother's Day gift ever...

2 naturally conceived sons then diagnosed with secondary infertility due to blocked Fallopian tubes. They managed to clear the right tube by flushing it but couldn't fix the left.

1st IVF round, fresh transfer of 5 day embryo = unsuccessful

I then changed specialists who advised me to have my left tube removed to create a better environment for implantation.

2nd IVF round, frozen 5 day embryo = successful, carried to term!

I have no doubt that if I hadn't changed specialists we would still be trying.

Hi girls,

Im not sure if this is the best place to post this.

Im a long time lurker and this forum has been very helpful.I wanted to share our experience to give someone out there hope.

We have beem ttc for 2.5 years, i have a low amh of 3.4, follicle counts around 3,  very low as I am only 34.

We have done 3 clomid cycLes, 2 iuis and then finally ivf.

In our ivf cycle we only retrieved 3 eggs, 1 "curled up its toes" (nurse quote) so that left us two to work with. We proceeded with one fresh transfer 3day emby, grade 4bb. Bfn.

We just complete our fet cycle with our "little guy" ALOT riding on this as doc said the chances of another full cycle arent great due to my low count. They like min of 4. Our frosty made it to 6days, grade 4aB. I had spotting from the day after transfer, then at 5dp6dt heavy bleeding. I had no doubt it was af, and was slightly annoyed when I had to go have a bloodtest to confirm with the clinic (qfg).

Well that blood test came back with a beta of 7! Bleeding continued for a day then stopped, during this time all bfn on frer so still wasnt too hopeful. Today, 7dp6dt I had a follow up beta and it was 44! So I am pregnant! Finally got a faint bfp on frer this afternoon.

Its early days but I am super happy we have got to this point. So if you have a low amh or follicle count. Or if you start bleeding after transfer dont give up hope! And frer doesnt always pick up bfps early on.

BabyduSt to all!

Ps fresh cycle was gonalf 300, ovidrel and crinone (ick), fet cycle all natural, but it took 5 blood tests to pick up my lh surge, and we nearly postponed the cycle, i od on cd 1,  my cycles are 28d.

Hi everyone,

This is my 1st post.

I have just finished my 2nd cycle with a BFN.

Puregon 150 + Synarel
Ovidrel 200
Crinone gel
3d egg transfer
6 eggs collected, 4 inseminated, 3 fertilized, 1 transferred
No Frozens

Puregon 300 + Synarel
Ovidrel 200
Crinone gel
10 eggs collected, 6 inseminated, 4 fertilized, 1 transferred
5d egg transfer
No Frozens

About to start trying acupuncture to see if it will make a difference. We're thinking of starting our 3rd fresh cycle in June 2015.

Stopped drinking coffee, not a alcohol drinker, started exercising, eating healthier (not completely off junk food :))

With Monash IVF.

Very worried about the success rate of our 3rd go

TTC since 2013
Me: 29
DF: 32
