I made a batch of homemade cookies and stored them in an airtight plastic container. The only problem is that the container seemed to make them soft and they lost their "crunch"
What is the best way to store them? Any tricks/tips greatly appreciated.

I use a metal tin, like the ones you get chocolates or those Danish butter biscuits in sometimes. I line it with greaseproof paper. Seems to keep the biscuits fresher for longer, must be a tighter seal.

I also use the metal tin and greaseproof paper, which i find works best, i also find if they're not quite cooked enough they go softer as well.

I always use a metal tin (like the Danish biscuits tin) my favourite being a big tin that was my grandmothers. I always line my tins with kitchen paper. This works fine.
