Has anyone been following this story?

The first I heard about it was on the 7:30 report last night.  They were saying that the Tasmanian government had proposed a plan to the federal government for eradication of the rabbits.  The cost was to be shared between the two governments.  The federal government accepted the proposal, but now Tasmania has backed out. mad.gif

Often there is more to a story that reported in a short segment though.  Does anyone know more about this?
