Anni: cute pics too! looks like u guys had a nice relaxing day, tayla looks like shes a water baby hehe
Dani: good to hear ur getting some 'me' time
Rach: great bargains once again! gee that holiday proposal sounds tempting, but i couldnt do it either, i stress leaving them for one night..
us: picked up the packing boxes, went food shopping while mum watched the boys, then came home to make chicken kebabs and pasta salad to take to the bbq. both boys r asleep, jacobs having such a sleepy day, i didnt think he'd nap at all after getting up at 9.45am!!

Cute pics. I went to the Southbank Markets yesterday. I was looking to see if they had any nappies there for sale. There wasn't. I think it would be an ideal location if you still want to sell your gear. There wasn't anyone selling slings either.
What is a meitai? How is it different from a sling? Do you think Oliver would fit in one? Would it be easier than a sling? Sorry so many questions?

Dani: A sling is just a generic term for all baby wearing gear I think. A mei tai is a traditional baby carrier that is basically a square of material with 4 straps that you tie around your body. Personally I think it is so much more comfortable and really quick to put on compared to a baby bjorn etc. And you can use it for any age baby, it is so adjustable. Vienna loves it. She went to sleep while I was wearing her last night at the Easter service in Toowoomba. I can show you how to use one personally if you like? Otherwise look at: http://www.freehandbaby.com/wear-baby.php If you have sewing machine I can show you how to make them yourself too!
Love kristi and Vienna

Sorry I haven't done ANY personals lately girls.. I have a raging headcold that is giving me the sh!ts BIGTIME!!
Caught up with some friends today. Told them we're expecting again. The mates from Darwin are in the process of TTC as well, but somethings not happening. She thinks she may not be ovulating so it might just be a lot of clomid that will do the trick. I mentioned that quite a few of you girls had to use it and I think that made her feel a bit better.
She's 32 so she doesn't want to muck about. They're seeing a fertility specialist when they get home. I have all my fingers and toes crossed for them. They'd make fantastic parents!
Paulie goes home tomorrow. We've got the hot water system FINALLY!! Miky and I were supposed to go over my brother's house today, but Miky and I crashed for 3 hours after breakfast this morning. I've just got such a heavy head.
I've just had a nice hot shower to let everything get out. Seems to have helped a little.
Tomorrow HOPEFULLY we will be picking up our new car!! Well secondhand new... you know what I mean... The bloke wants $7,990 for it, but I'm going to take $7k cash and hopefully he'll just accept that and let me have the car. It was cool to see two carseats in the car too. just so I had an idea of what it'd look like.
Anyway. I'd better go. mum's taken Miky across the road to see our elderly neighbour. I didn't got coz of the cold...

Well, today was just what the doctor ordered LOL We had a really relaxing morning, Jack slept ALL night, OMG, and had three hours sleep this morning, he obviously needed it after his 20 min effort yesterday
DH and I dropped Jack of at mums for a few hours this arvo and went out to a pub on the lake and had lunch, it was really really nice, and a beautiful day... I am still full, I had a really yummy prawn and garlic pasta... hmmmm, it was so bad for me I know hehe... I went for a walk tonight, so I feel a tad better bout that, but not very hehe
Jack fell asleep in the pram so I've bundled him up into bed, and DH is up the road at BIL's having a few beers, so it's just me and EB LOL
Rach - yay on the kids being so well behaved even when it was raining! Sounds like the kids had a heap of fun on their easter egg hunt....
Erin - hope you're feeling less seedy right now hehe.... sounds like you had a great night though
Rhiannon - ROFL bout being hit on by a 17 year old, great for the ego, but as you said, bugger bout being so young LOL bout Bridget putting the eggs in her mouth foil and all hehe...
Anni - how cute that Tayla is whistling... I know exactly what you mean bout the bubs being older and having easter baskets, we used to do the same when I was younger, and easter egg hunts round the house too... so fun!
QOTD - Ironing - well, I have to be really really in the mood to iron... maybe once a week, my mum sometimes does it for me but I also sometimes even hang clothes like Tshirts and stuff on the line on coat hangers too hehe... But with Jack's clothes, I iron em all before they go back into his cupboards or hung up... weird huh
Britt - hmmmm you know what in exchange for roast sounds pretty good LOL.... Yay for your big sleep in. Jack has just been a bit spewy the last few days, not sick spewy, but milk spewy IYKWIM... Not sure why either, but he's been fine today... maybe I was jiggling him round too much
Shari - hope Milly gets better very soon....
Kristi - ROLF bout V pooing on Matt's jeans - and having to smile too hehe...
Kristie - sounds like you all had a great Easter at your PIL's!
Dani - wow, sounds very full on in your household at the mo, with PIL's staying. OMG bout MIL wanting to stay permanently - just what you need - NOT!!! Esp with you being so busy with uni...
KylieJB - Thanks for the tip, I give Jack water at night, but haven't thought to give him a bottle, maybe next time he's really unsettled, I think I will

Seems like everyone is catching up today!
Steph, I read your post the other day about baptism, and I have had sort-of similar discussions here. The reason I haven't christened Milly is the wording in the Anglican church (I am Anglican) is that you will give your child to God. I already have one Angel and I am not prepared to have that wording, so I have just decided to wait and see. It won't stop you from teaching Miky right and wrong, and to live with the church morals. I hope the dude does except the $7K. Cash would be hard to turn down !
Dani, nice to see you having some 'you' time. Your MIL sounds like all she does is TALK! LOL! How is FIL? driving you crazy? How long have you got left with them staying? (and how is DH coping??! LOL!)
Kylie, good on your for not eating so much chocolate!
Sarah, good luck for the 17th. That is next week, so hopefully time flies quickly. I read something about a similar thing in one of the threads the other day... I think it was in the 6 - 12 month thread?? Milly's fontanelle is pretty small now too. I actually thought it was closed (but not quite). I love Zach in his bunny suit! too cute!
Kristi, thanks for sharing the Vienna photos
Beck, if you are out there and reading, I hope Cooper had a fabbo Easter in NZ!
Chels, enjoy your 'You' time here on EB
Us, well Milly seems a little bit better. still very clingy. So between looking after her and doing some housework I haven't felt like I have had much of a break, especially because I was at work on Friday I am also late for AF. She should have been here at least 4 days ago, if not 6. I don't feel PG but I hope I am... and then on the other hand, I was thinking before OMG imagine if I am?? I had a bit of a freak out Who knows? I feel so normal. I'll see what tomorrow brings.
okies, Dinner is ready
Take care girlies
Kylie, My birthday fairy will be visiting in time for the recipients birthday, but not too much before to stop temptation......
Posted 09 April 2007 - 08:21 PM
Thanks Kylie I guess I either am or I am not, so not much point in thinking too much about it iykwim?
And my attitude is SO different from when I was trying to fall with Milly!!
Dani I see you there

Britt - it was me asking bout the lift and lock fp swing, I think I'll have to put one on layby this week... thanks! I got Jack a heap of Baby State of Origin gear at Best and Less that fits him now, a hoodie, trackies and a bodysuit, they are so adorable
Jeannie - love your new sig.... Hope Lola's feeling better, Jack's been a bit clingy too since he's had his cold....
Rhiannon - funny to think relo's or friends your own age without kids can be 'arkward' round em, esp males, I have a cousin a little older than me that is exactly like that, funny to watch when Jack's trying to crawl all over him hehe
Renee - love the pics of Jacob and his easter eggs... so many yummy choccies, now I'm hungry just saw your post bout the lift and lock swing, hmmm, scrap Big W, I'm going to Target
Anni - luv the nanna files - classic I hate 'frumpy' days
Jules - good on you for not eating ANY choccies yesterday, I did and felt a bit guilty.... a bit too much Poor Ella, hope the bruise isn't too bad Jack's got a shiner on the side of his forehead he's had for a few days, he slipped in the shower
Rach - I hate chocolate headaches.... Nice of your dad to offer to take you to NZ! Great bargains too.
Jules - MCN - I use the BBB boosters with my BBB nappy over night, cause they are super absorbant, but other than that, usually only use the boosters that come with the nappies! HTHs'
Anni - the piccys are adorable! Looks like Tayla had a great day!
Kristi - the pics are great!!! Bet she loved her kinder suprise!
Steph - yay for sorting out the hot water, bugger bout your headcold
Sarah - the pics of Zach are so cute... he looks so grown up Is that you on the carosoul with him? I've never seen a pic of you before!
KylieJB - so true bout bubs' being precious... Jack has made him way into our bed a few times since he's had his cold....
Pfftt... to Target... grrr....
Shari - glad Milly is feeling alright!
Well, this mean mummy didn't give Jack any chochies for Easter... but he didn't care... he was too busy attacking all my cousins/families easter bunnies at my nanna's last night hehe
Enjoy your night girls!!!
Just had to share a few piccies from the Easter Weekend....

A long time no visit. My in-laws have been visiting for the last 2 weeks so I haven't had a chance any eb time. As a result I am so far behind and have no hope of catching up.
A belated happy easter to everyone. Thomas was really cute and shared his eggs with everyone except Jess. She tried to steal his eggs (she got some stuff but we weren't giving her chocolate - we're mean).
I hope everyone is well and I'll try and keep up to date going forward.
ETA - We went shopping to day and I got part of the birthday fairy's present. I'll resist posting too early as I don't want to offer temptation to anyone.

Im loving all the Easter photos.
Kylie-Our platinum doesnt have speakers, guess its just a new thing, ive seen the photos of ones with speakers but we bought ours before Jake was born.
Chels-OH YUMMO that pasta you had for lunch sounds like something i would love. Nice photos of Jack, he really suits hats.
Sarah-i love that bunny suit Zach is wearing. I bet he had a ball at the show. Did you go today, did you see Nicole Kidman there? It was on the news that her and Keith went with their nephew.
Anni-looks like everyone had a ball in the spa.
Kristi-Vienna looks like she enjoyed her kinda suprise, think thats what the kids will be getting next year.
Me-Did my ironing whilst i watched loser tonight. Then i washed the nappies and did the bottles and stuff and bolted to have my shower before Desperate Housewives started and i got all settled in and it wasnt on.
Dh cooked the roast lamb he won the other day, it was so nice, he cooked it on the webber. Holly scoffed the roast down, she loved it. Think she is a big fan of gravy too.
Here are some pics from the weekend.

*This seems important enough to share...*
It has been scientifically proven that if we drink 1 litre of water each day, at the end of the year we would have absorbed more than 1 kilo of Escherichia coli (E. coli) bacteria found in faeces.
In other words, we are consuming 1 kilo of poop.
However, we do not run that risk when drinking wine (or rum, whiskey, beer or other liquor) because alcohol has to go through a purification
process of boiling, filtering and/or fermenting.
WATER = Poop
WINE = HEALTH
It is better to drink booze and talk rubbish than to drink water and be
full of crap.
There is no need to thank me for this valuable information; I am doing it as a public service.
PMSL - my Dad sends me some funny stuff!!
Great pics from the weekend everyone, so nice to see the gorgeous babies, not really babies anymore they are all growing up too quick.
I had fun scrapbooking today.
Catherine - I am mean too, Hunter didn't get any chocolate either.
Jellybelly - I havn't got my little squirt yet, have been trying to win them on ebay, but the price goes up quite high, and they are second hand ones, I'd rather pay a bit more for the new one.
I tried on my work uniforms today, I fit in to a size 12, got the button done up on the skirt, but wasn't super comfy. Think I'll have to lose 3-4 more kilos and then I'll definitely be comfy. I'll wear the size 14 ones.
a photo of Hunter's Easter present from MIL. She also bought him a big green sleep suit, too big for him at the moment.
My parents gave me $$$ for Easter, so I bought Hunter a Zebra nappy with some of the money.

well today i can finally start back at the gymi could only go once or twice last week and then it was closed oer the easter long weekend so really got to push it this week
Posted 10 April 2007 - 07:58 AM
I love all the photos! It sounds like everyone had a great easter
Rach - Jake and Holly are just THE most adorable kids! I think that every time I see photos of them
Britt - my mum got Bridget a sleep suit too, and Brenna a pair of slippers. Its a tradition in our family for grandma to buy the grandkids something like slippers or pj's instead of chocolate
Sarah - what do you do with Zach while you are at the gym? I ahve to start going again this week, have had about 3 weeks off
Jeannie - you poor thing up at 4.30! I hope Lola sleeps for you today and you can catch up.
Well I think we will have a day at home today. Poor Bridget has THE worst nappy rash. She had heaps of fruit the other day, pooed a lot of diahrrea yesterday and its like her entire bottom is burnt. Corn starch isnt even working
Now Brenna is sooking because she wants to sit on my knee. I swear, I would love 10 minutes to myself in the morning without her nagging me constantly, she has verbal diahrrea and it drives me insane
Posted 10 April 2007 - 08:14 AM
This is going to be really quick, we are in Forster at IL's house, (don't even ask) and we head off on the actual trip tomorrow. I hope everyone is well and I will be back soon to check what is happening.
No photos yet but we will try and get some soon
Love to you all
PS Moving day was an absolute nightmare, but I will fill you in later!

Good Morning girls
Well, slightly sleepy today.... Jack was awake at 3am, that was fine, after DH gave him a bottle he wouldn't go back to sleep though, so in he came with us, hmmm, this is becoming more and more so these days and he finally nodded off.... DH is home today cause it's his allocated picnic day so he's playing SAHD.... wonder how he will go... I had to line up all Jack's cloth nappies that he needs today for him last night, and tell him what to give him when hehe...
Leanne - we love Forster... it's such a nice place!
Britt - love the pics of Hunter.... bout the water we consume eeeewwwwww.....
Rach - the kids look really cute!
Rhiannon - poor Bridg, hope her nappy rash dissapears soon.... maybe heaps of nappy free time???
Posted 10 April 2007 - 09:58 AM
I am home sick with the flu. Feel like crap seems I got some of Milly's symptoms, except the rash. She is still sooky but seems better. No temp today.
I'm another Mum that didn't give Milly chocolate. I just think she is too young for that.
oooh my head is pounding. Gonna take something for it
Posted 10 April 2007 - 10:28 AM
so ironic, I am at home today and can post and everyone is gone?? where are you all???!!
Posted 10 April 2007 - 10:42 AM
Shari- I'm here. I'm a sicky too...
Jules- IF I get my car this afternoon, I was thinking of heading your way tomorrow morning to have a squiz at that big Good Sammies warehouse. Did you wanna come along?
Perthies- TODDLER TOWN- WEDNESDAY afternoon. That seems the best thing to do for the moment! Shall we say 2 or 3pm? That way it will knacker bubbies out and we'll have them in bed EARLY!! LOL!!
Smiliek Kylie- might even give you a call later this afternoon and drop the TW off to you then. All depends on this sodding car though!!
My brother and SIL worked out I am pregnant. I kept disappearing for a nap and they guessed. Oh well.
Anyway. Raging cold still. Feel like death warmed up... Am slowly getting over it though...
Better go. Mum giving me the sh!ts.
Posted 10 April 2007 - 11:14 AM
Chels - My holiday was great!! I won't write about it in here but I have done a diary entry if you are interested. I must warn you. Its long. I am just generally long winded and go into unneccesary detail. LOL!
Shari - Sorry to hear you are sick. I am here to post! I didn't give Joey any chocolate either so you are not alone. Have you POAS?
Steph - So did the car check out?
Rhiannon - Hope Bridget's bum recovers soon. Very cute pics btw. Both your girls are gorgeous!
Erin - I love pigpig!!! Now I want one too! Although I am sure DH will say no! I have 2 dogs and a rabbit already. We used to have 2 guinea pigs called Dodgy and Bugga but they both died of what seems like a heart attack? Strange... they didn't have any babies though. What I really want is a hamster which is like a smaller version of a guinea pigs but they don't seem to have those in Australia?!
Oh and I haven't taken a belly pic but heres a pic of me and Joey and you can sort of see my bump (big belly more like it).
Only skimmed through the 3 threads I've missed! You girls have been chatty! Hi to everyone!
Kristi - Happy Birthday for yesterday!!!

Jacqui - you can SO see your bump in that picture! Nice pic BTW too, Joey looks so cute
Steph - I dont envy you that first trimester exhaustion! Nice to hear you are able to have naps though
Well I have been writing up my CV this morning. I cracked it with word and its stupid formatting though so I am having a break, will write the rest up later
I got my woolly butts longies and flock art soaker today so I am waiting for Bridget to wake up so we can try them on and take piccies!
Anyway... better go and clean up the
