I'm upset that Cowboys lost last night  cry1.gif i only got 3 out of 6 games (plus got the Au v Nz right) !! I can't believe they lost !!!

Mum is babysitting for 1/2 of today so i'm being lazy.. sore throat and lots of phlegm ! yum ! Its gotten hot so i can't mow the lawn like i intended on.

Saw Jareds lil bro last night.. he had 8 teeth removed (he's 10yrs old) ! Poor thing ! looked painful. He's haemopheliac so they had to give him injections and stuff before the surgery and after (i think?) so stop the bleeding. 4 wisdom teeth removed and 4 ones towards the front... not sure if its because he has extra teeth or not enough room .. but either way its stopping him needing braces... the 4 at the front had to come out so they did the wisdoms at the same time.

Meliss- thats eerie!! Thats how many I got this week too. The Cowboys really didn't deserve to even get any points, and I think the Rabbitohs were lucky to get any as well. It was just an awful game of footy to watch all round.

Hello everyone

I have not posted in here in ages but I regularly read what is going on with everyone and I enjoy seeing how all the bubs are growing.

We have now settled into our life on the Sunshine Coast and I'm slowly meeting new people. I'm off to meet some EB mums today at a play place, which should be good. I also joined a playgroup to meet others.

I'm going to make an effort to be more active in this group, as I once was. I also noticed that nothing new has been posted on our MSN site - is that one no longer active? Is there a new one? Can someone invite me to join...

My pregnancy is going well. It seems bizarre but I started to feel this one move on Friday of last week. I was sitting quietly and felt a sommersault sensation. It then happened again a few minutes later, and since then, I've felt something everyday. It must be an active little bugger!

I'll keep reading and attempt personals soon.

It's good to be back (if you'll have me)!

Oh, one question I did have... What has happened to Sharon (who had Amy, then an Oct 05 bub, then a new little one)? I don't think I've seen her in here...

Hi everyone

I can't believe how much it is raining, hasn't stopped for about 24 hours, the pool is almost overflowing.

Had to get out of the house so went to one of those play centres, the boys had a ball  grin.gif  grin.gif  only had one incident where Eamon tried to climb into a car that another child was already in. I saw it all and there was nothing to it really but the mum came flying across the room and took her child away and gave me a look. He didn't even touch him and the kid certainly didn't seem to mind. Some parents need to calm down a bit.

Anyway home now and Eamon asleep but Sean fighting it, might put a movie on for him to watch.

Anthony liked his pressie, wanted to redeem one of his vouchers there and then, not really suitable with two children in bed with us wink.gif  blush.gif  ph34r.gif

OK off to tidy the house

haha i should not turn up and dad can babysit her for the arvo.. i reckon he'd have a breakdown.. she had a nice 15min tantie this morning... i just closed her in the bathroom there (she can open the door) and let her scream it out.. she came out a few times and i just said "are you finished".. she'd scream more so i told her to go back in the bathroom and she did. Eventually she came out sobbing and i gave her cuddles. Broke my heart seeing her so upset.. it all started because i didn't want to sit at the computer.. she did.. so i walked away ! Oh joy.. having 2 is going to be sooooooooooooooooooo much fun !!!! Can't wait  tongue.gif (i know its probably just a stage and we WILL get passed it)

What does everyone else do for Tantrums ? I don't know if i'm handling them the right way.. but if i leave her in sight she plays it up more.. if i glance in her direction she screams louder.

Whats the address of your ticker.. i'll show you what to put in.

Grow out of it...bahahahhahahahahaha you are a dreamer...bahahahahahaha........maybe when they are 25....ahahahahahahahahahahahaha.
I deal with tantrums the same way.....when they get older you can at least talk with them about the issue and you can makethem nderstand why they cant get away with it. For now ignoring and timeout are your only options.

When do they grow out of it  laughing2.gif  laughing2.gif  laughing2.gif

I used to delude myself that Sean was having the terrible twos early when he was about 18 months - I was wrong  cry1.gif Pretty much everyone I have spoken to laughs at the whole terrible twos myth because three is so much worse, and then there are those that swear 4 is even worse. Oh and I have seen the petulant tanties a friends 7 year old throws. OMG then they become teenagers, heaven help us all. hands.gif

When Eamon chucks a tantie I just ignore him. I think I reacted to Seans too much and that is what created more of a problem. Poor second child, they so much cop the raw end of the deal.

Its me this time, thought i would get Ciaran to post last night, but the cheeky bugger called my horse names!!! I have a very bruised hip (where his hoof impacted as he spun around) and two fractured ribs, plus a nice graze on my elbow. Luckily DH could work from home today, tomorrow is Anzac Day and Charlotte is in childcare thursday and friday so i am off work till next week, with a break from charlotte till monday (what with childcare and DH being around).

Thanks for the well wishes. I am still sore but have to say love the painkillers the Dr gave me. Except the injection one at the medical centre which made me faint and my blood pressure went down to 80 over 60, so had to stick around there till i was better.

Have to stay away from contact with my ribs for six weeks and have to wear something called a Rib Band, but having trouble finding one. Apparently they are not common and not normally found in pharmacies. So anyone who knows anything about them, any info would be good. It is an elastic band with velcro attachments to stabilise my chest area.

Sorry haven't really read much...except to say Kristy that does s*ck big time. I knew she was a cutie but really that's bad form. Ali - thanks for the offer, we will see how we go, DH said he might leave work early and pick her up those days.

Alright, Nurofen Plus kicking in and i get sleepy with Codeine so gonna have a lie down. Can't handle the strength of the Dr painkillers except at night when i want to sleep anyway.

So doppy is off to the couch and snoozy land.
Love to you all.
