That is fantastic.  I feel hospitals are for the sick... and to be pregnant isn't an illness. If all is tickety-boo, why risk you and your child in an environment that also treats sickly people? I think you are more likely to catch a bug!  sick.gif
I am planning to have a home birth... hope mine goes as well swift as yours! grin.gif

Awesome story, I am actually thinking the same may happen to me with my 4th as my last 3 labour times have halved with every one.
My 3rd was 2.5hrs and only really half an hour of severe pain that was pretty much when I got to the hospital. So am wondering if my next will happen even quicker and possibly at home, if it does I hope I can manage as you did. I think my gorgeous hubby would freak, he doesn't handle unexpected stresses very well, but we'll see, i have a while to even start contemplating the whole thing.

DF and the nurse at the hospital thought i was ging to have DS#1 on the toilet in the birth suite laughing2.gif

I couldnt stop laughing when he told me afterwards.
