Hi, I was wondering if anyone can suggest any good (gentle) pregnancy exercise classes anywhere in the Mandurah/Rockingham area.  I was thinking along the lines of some aqua-aerobics classes in particular??
Any suggestions gratefully received.

Many thanks

I'd be interested too.  While I'm not working I'm just kind of sitting around so need something to do.
Just nothing too strenuous. original.gif

try the aqua jetty in warnbro, i spoke to them last year and there was talk of an pre and ante-natal aquarobics class. i joined zest while i was pregnant with my first, they have low impact aquarobics classes, which were fine for a pregnant woman. there was 3 of us in the class. i think you have to join for that though (at zest) but they have classes 6 mornings a week.

good luck, HTH original.gif

Thanks Simba,
Just checked out the website of the Warnbro Aquajetty.  For anyone who is interested, they run Aqua Fit and Aqua Movers classes (the latter is particularly recommended for pre- and post-natal fitness).
Their timetable is online at:

Well, now I've no excuse not to get moving!

Hello again, I'm thinking of checking out Aquamovers on Thursday AM.  If anybody else is thinking of giving it a go and wants to meet up, I'll be the beached whale in the flowery tankini.

I think the requatic centre in Kwinana has pre natal aqua aerobics. I did pregnancy yoga in Freo which was great...i was looking for yoga futher south but that was all i could find. Otherwise i found swimming/walking laps great during both pregnancies.

Enjoy original.gif

This is an old topic but I've been trying to search for Post Natal Yoga in the Mandurah area. Has anyone come across anything lately? I don't know much about Yoga but does it have to be Post natal Yoga or can I do any Yoga to get my belly back?
