Hello, my parents are gone and DH is still in Singapore. We are going for the 3rd term. There is no way she can get into the international school before then. We will be gone for 2 years.. It will be an interesting adventure. DH has already started work there so we will be doing a visit during the April school holidays. Hope we can keep up the pace. Should not be too bad staying in one place at least though looking for a place to live. I have no idea what area we will be living in.
Hope all is ok and over the coughs and colds. I will not miss the coughs and colds of winter. though I am sure we will have enough time to catch a couple before we leave. Saying that I have never been as sick as I was in Singapore for a long time..

Hello again everyone...
Sounds like everyone has such busy lives I am not alone there... Soccer season starts today so our weekends are once again FULL! With Shannon on Saturday and Brett on Sunday it pretty much covers it all.
Brianna wanted to play soccer this year - we were all for it.. but it clashes with dancing so she made a choice. I am trying to enrol her in Indoor soccer as that will eb on an afternoon when she is free.
Brianna had a photo shoot thing for dancing last weekend. The photos look really great. The photographer took a ncie mix of staged and casual shots.. there is such a lovely one of her with 3 mates having a good old laugh... just love it.... it affirms for me she is fitting in nicely at her new dance school.
I am madly planning the birthday parties. Witht hem 5 days apart we have decided to go for the two partes in one day thing. I swore they would never have to have a combined party (I hated it as a kid) so we are going with Brianna's fairy party (We had the most amazing Fairy last year - she is an early childhood teacher - all the fairy parties we have been to don't even come close to this lady. She did Brianna's last year and it was a smashing success with all the kids - boys and girls from 3 to 8 years old. This year she is coming dressed as a Princess and plans some different activities.) which will go from 10-12 then Shannon's reptile (ewwww... lizards, snakes crocodile etc) party from 2-4. In between we will have a BBQ for the family and good friends that go to both parties... We did it this way last year and it worked really well.
Becca - Hope you are all recovering.. I never know what is worst everyone sick all at once - (gets it over with) or one sick after another. You sound as busy as me... sometimes I wonder if by letting our kids do all they do if I am denying them some "down time" to just play iykwim. Shannon only has Thursday and some Friday afternoons when he can have mates over.
Cathy - That move sure sounds exciting. I have heard some of those international school to be wonderful. A friend of mine use to work at the one in Singapore. She is now working at an international school in Hong Kong. My Dh use to travel to Singapore quite a bit for work.. he enjoyed it.
Alice - That whole sending to school thing is such a big choice isn't it.. in a way I was kinda glad most of the decision was taken out of our hands because of the school they will go to later in their lives. I think, too, I felt added pressure as Dh basically said you are the teacher- you make the decision, you know what is best. The kids are both loving dancing right now.. more so than before which I wasn't sure was possible. I am really happy witht he move we made to new schools for them. Brianna's is technically excellent but quite strict whereas Shannon's is a lot more relaxed. They seem to "fit" them perfectly. Hopefully you can find one that suits Ryan - and the budget just right. (Don't even start me on the $$$ we fork out to dancing...it is a bit scary!)
Hi everyone else- I am trying to get back in here more often... here's hoping.

am just up and wide awake (although very tired) as Isobel has been really wakeful tonight, and for the past few weeks.
So thought I'd drop in and say hello.
Bec, hope everyone is starting to feel better at your house.
Cathy, how exciting what a really interesting experience for your children. Hope it all goes well for you getting organised to get there.
Michaella, your birthday party sounds fantastic and what a sensible way to run it. I am so unimaginative with parties at the moment.
Hello to everybody else, didn;t have anything special to write, just wanted to say hello.
Bye for now.

Hi Bec! That was me on Facebook!..lol..(nicole m)wasnt sure if you realised who it was...thanks for adding me!
Is anyone else on Facebook?
We are well here! Noah is going great! We went to the health nurse last week and he put on 500g in 2 weeks, so super happy with that!! Jess is still loving him! I am finding it a bit hard at the moment still to divide my attention evenly between the two, I seem to be constantly feeding/settling etc Noah, but Jess is pretty patient, so I think she is coping well. Mum has gone home now too after being here for 5 weeks, so we are on our own! DH has been away working too so he hasnt been around much since Noah was born, but I am hoping that things will slow down for him soon so he dosent miss out on too much!!
Jess is great! Still loving school and her ballet!! She is getting an award tomorrow at assembly, so I cant wait to go and see her recieve it, seeing as we werent told about the first one back in Feb! She has an easter hat parade tomorrow too, so tonight we have to get cracking on a hat! (we were only told about it yesterday..lol) hopefully we can come up with something!!!!
Leah, what are you doing this year for Lucas's birthday? Cant believe that its that time of year again!!!
Bec, that must have been nice at Seaworld!! I would love to go there one day!!
Spinifex, hiiiii!!! I dont think that I have said hello to you yet!! Terrible I know!!! Great to see you back!! I do remember you from wayyyyy back!!
I know that I havent replied to everyone! But I hope that you are all well!!!!

Happy Birthday Kedan How was the dinosaur party?
Happy Birthday Bec
Thanks for the birthday wishes (March, not Feb!) Lucas had a great day, with a LaaLaa themed party. I figure it's pretty much the last time the Teletubbies can be considered cool. We gave him a little Tubbies set, and a number scale thing, which he plays with lots.
Cathy, how annoying with things changing so much. I figure you can get used to anything, it's just when things chop and change that it's really annoying!
We've been away camping for the weekend, and had a pretty good time.
I haven't posted for too long, and now am blank about what we've been doing. Must post again soon.
Happy birthday planning for everyone,

Oh der sorry Leah!!!! I was only thinking this morning, hey Lucas's birthday is the day after Noahs..how funny....no wonder!! I had the wrong month!!!!!!!! Sorry Lucas!!! Whats Laalaa? Ooohh that weigh it up game looks great!!! Where abouts did you go camping?
Cathy, sorry to hear that your singapore plans have been cancelled! Is DH still going?

How's Noah going, Nic?
Laalaa is the yellow teletubby. We went camping at Batemans Bay which was really nice. Lucas adored being so close to the beach, although he didn't actually get real wet. After one dash into the waves, he made a 'sand angel' and came out in a terrible rash.
I'm currently monitoring my blood pressure 3 times daily (after a routine drs visit showed surprising blood pressure), and worrying that the dr recommended a mammogram (no symtoms!). The first appointment isn't for 6 weeks, so that's a lot of worrying! My Mum got breast cancer when she was 39, so the dr said something about it being a concern when i am 5 years younger than that (actually, it's closer than that now ) Anyway, I have no symptoms, but it's just scary. Of course, this will be helping my blood pressure no end!
DH's out playing poker tonight, so I might go knit in front of the tv

Hapy Birthday Kedan!
Happy Birthday Lucas!
Happy Birthday Bec!
Leah, oh goodness girl, you take care of yourself! Sorry to hear that your blood pressure is up. But it's good that you and your doctor are monitoring it.
Nothing much happening here. I need to organise Ryan's birthday party for the end of the month. I'm going interstate again this week for yet another meeting. Can't wait til we get a new boss and I can stop doing the managerial stuff. It is a bit much pressure for me. Oh and we're off to Victoria in the first week of the local school holidays to stay with my aunt and see my cousins' little kids for the first time.
I'm trying to remember to check in here regularly. I'm so rarely online though...

Leah, Batemans Bay looks lovely!!! I bet those cabins would be nice to stay in!! The prices are quite good! Camping would have been fun, was it busy? Oh gawd so sorry to hear about the high blood pressure, great to hear though that your doctor is on to it!! Will be thinking of you when you go for your mammogram, and that everything will be okay!!!! Take care of yourself!!!
Alice, you jetsetter you!!! I hope you have a great time away at your aunts!!! Any word on when there will be a new boss?? Is Ryan having a big party?
Noah is going great! @5 weeks 5.1kg 60cms long! Sleeping is getting better!! Will have to update the photos!!!
