woo hoo GOLD right time right place i guess LOL
Pebbles lol at pastizzi i love them too and no i am not maltese but i am italian so they are just as popular with my family and spinach and ricotto are my fave yummo they were delicious.
i cant remember who asked about things people forgot to buy and realised when u get home from hospital after birth of bubs WELL the only thing i realised i didnt have was formula cause i had so much trouble attaching when i got home on day 5 that i gave up that day and my poor mum had to drive down to the servo for me to get some in the middle of the night after me trying to attach for 5 hours. Anyway in the middle of this saga i rang the hospitl and they told me to pump WELL i got my brand new NUK breast pump out of the box and it would not work. It was too late for me to buy one or hire one so i gave up that night breastfeeding. Anyway point to my story i had everything i need instead of back up formula in case i needed it and i would definately suggest testing items like pumps etc that might be necessary at times of exploding boobies hehe. I got so depressed about giving up breastfeeding that 3 weeks later i relactated anyway but i could have probably avoided that whole process if my damn pump worked lol
so how is everyone? i forget what everyone wrote in the last thread cause i cant read it below so i will just say hi and thanks so much for dh's well wishes. he is getting the count done on saturday morning and the results on tuesday afternoon so fingers crossed for a good result and then we wont have to worry about anything but the chances are slim

Still feeling a little off colour, AF is due tomorrow heres hoping she doesn't come knocking.
Posted 05 March 2008 - 09:38 PM
Just popped in to say that the scan went fine!! Bub is in there, bouncing away, HB 167 and EDD is still 18th September. NT stats all great, almost 1 in 13000 for the main Downs trisomy that they test for. I had to do some interesting jiggles and even a horizontal hula to get bub to co-operate for part of it, but was in an out and got some pics and a DVD.
DD wasn't as impressed, but did the best she could. I have to say that the toys and books they had in the actual room was a great help for distracting her!!
I'm off to bed. Only 4 weeks left at work, and beginning to panic at not finding alternate employment just yet....I desperately want to get my business up and running, but realistically may not have reasonable (or any) income for a while....bit but at least I know what I want to be doing for the next 10yrs, just have to get into it!!!

Veronicab - glad to hear the scan went well. They put the scans on dvds now? Or does that just depend on where you go? Why only 4 weeks left at work? I hope that you do find something & good luck with trying to start up the business. DF is trying to start up his as well.
MyLittleFamily - fingers crossed for you. I was feeling a little off last week as well & have been craving chocolate sooo bad. And i normally never eat it. But AF arrived yesterday so my hopes were shattered oh well next time.
you get that
Amy - awww Elana has the most beautiful hair. She just perfect Does she like getting hair cuts?
Hi to everyone else. Hope you are all well.
ME - Well DF nailed the back door shut so bro couldnt get in at all. And i didnt want to be home alone while DF went to his footy practice so went to a friends. Mum was supposed to come over to help get bro out.
I got home & there were about 7 missed calls from mum, so i called her up & she said she called bro & he said we wasnt going to come back at all unless its to get his stuff. So thats good. Mum wants me, sis, her & bro to meet up & talk about whats happened. And i just know it will end up being all about HIM as it always is. I feel really bad for mum coz we are all her children & she cant choose sides but she wants us all to know she is there for us. I just know bro will go on about mumm not giving a sh*t about him because she helped me. Its ridiculous. How can a 37 year old be as selfish & ungrateful & thinks everyone he knows owes him the world??? BLAHHH
On another note. Not sure if i said or not. DS had to give a pee sample for the doc & it was dark red. It's worrying I can't think whats wrong because he doesnt seem to be in any pain, he is forever weeing so it doesnt hurt him. He isnt complaining about a sore tummy. I just have no idea. It smells like normal boy wee (tmi??). If I am not satisfied(sp?) with what the docs say I will take him to the docs at the hospital on the weekend.
On a good note we got some beautiful pics of Riley taken. We got one free 10"x14" and there are 3 others we will get the same size & then all four at i think 8"x10" and also a mixture of wallet prints. And its only $239 and we pay $10 a week. DF was the one that went in & said they were great & well worth it. So we will be getting them.
Well I am off. Have to get DS ready for daycare & then clean (again... it never ends)

RMK: Sorry to hear about your problems with your brother again. Seriously, sometimes, it is best to let them fall so far down and then maybe, just maybe, they will pick themselves up and help themselves. You have your own family to worry about and he is not your responsibility. Do what is best for you and yours. hugs to you sweetie. Hope Riley is OK and you get some answers soon.
Veronica: Glad to hear the scan went well. Good luck with the job hunting.
Trina: Elana looks so cute. She is getting so grown up now.
Amy: Good luck with the tests for your DH. Hope you get some answers that are a little more positive than your last visit.
Mylittlefamily: Fingers crossed for you.
Thanks to all those that answered my questions about what you forgot. I am so overwhelmed at the moment that I just cant think straight.
Hi to all the other nutters.
Me: Well Brooke has not slept through the night in the last 4 nights. I finally got to bed this morning at 3.30am and was up at 5.30 so I am wiped. There doesnt seem to be anything seriously wrong, but I am thinking that maybe there have been too many big changes in her life in the last month and she is just feeling insecure. I am thinking of trying her on the bottle again tonight before bed and see if that helps her sleep through. She does complain of a sore tummy so I am wondering if she is hungry cause she only has a mouthful of milk from a cup, but will drink a whole large bottle? Anyone got any tips or suggestions cause this is a whole new thing for us. She has always been such a good sleeper.
The car: Well RACQ rang last night and we were on the phone for over an hour. The results are semi in (in that they now know what is wrong) and it seems that the engine has at sometime in the past been seriously overheated and has damaged a piston. From the top it looks perfectly fine so they havent been able to find it, but underneath it is f**ked. So anyway, the mechanics are working on two quotes for us to either a) do a temporary bodgy fix up so we can sell it off or b) fix it properly and return it to us with a guarantee. RACQ said they have never seen this particular problem in a small engine so they are stumped and they are working on getting things done as cheaply as possible and with good will, hopefully we will just have to pay for parts.
In a nutshell, I am over my life and wish 2008 would hurry up and improve cause I am exhausted and have had it.
to all. Hope you all have a great day.

I just had to reply. 2008 is going to be a wonderful year for you- you are having a baby....the rest of it just doeesn't matter in comparison.
It may not seem like it right now but you are already turning things around. Keep your chin up and try to rest as much as possible.

Has everyone forgotten about me
I've been so sick the past coupel of days. Really bad morning sickness, but make that all day! I was never llike this with DS - only very mild and it never knocked me for six.
Amy i'm so glad to hear that you rman is getting a count. A good place to start and i'm sure it will all become much clearer for you both
Mylittlefamily - good luck to you! How exciting! I had no symptoms when I got this BFP so to feel off colour is a fabulous sign!

Kim i've been readign your posts and am glad to hear that RACQ is helping you to go int he right direction - it's only abotu time! As for Brooke, i'm sorry I can't help there! Still a mystery with my DS on that one!
Miranda bugger about the photos especially with all the time you have spent. It's great though that you have printed them out! Mine are all on disc still!!!!
Trina I loooooove your little ones hair cut and she is sooooooooo pretty! just devine

sarah, could be a girl this time, i see so many people have worse ms with girls, how did the OB appt go?
RMK, be strong at the meeting, dont let him get you. as for your son, could it be kidney related? i had something similar before, as a result of rough play in sports, i somehow took a knock on my kidney, actually not that hard enough for me to even remember but somehow cause a little bruise inside and wee'd red for a few day. maybe your DS had some sort of incident while playing.
kim, fingers crossed they dont come up with something huge again!.
trina, she changed a little comparing to the pic in your sig, more beautiful, love her silky hair, and i see both you and nick in her now.
pebble, sorry to hear what happened to your friend, what an irresponsible prick!! good luck with your OPKing did your doc go into details on what abnomality the pap result was about? i guess if he didnt order you to retest back then it should not be a serious issue, hope i am right.
hi to all, i am buggered, off to watch 40yo virgin for a laugh
Posted 07 March 2008 - 10:04 AM
Still no AF, so here's hopeing.
Posted 07 March 2008 - 11:09 AM
GP appt this morning. 144bpm, 3/5 engaged - apparently she's well in there no fluid movement of her head. BP 94/56. Everything's fine
No sign of her turning up anytime soon though (though I haven't had any internals so I don't know what's going on "down there")
Posted 07 March 2008 - 02:28 PM
Sarah - I thought the same thing as Miranda - prolly a girl this time
I had no morning sickness with DS and then felt like crap all day with DD until about 10 weeks.
Stace - TEST!!!!!! You are a nutter now. We can't handle the not knowing
Trina - Hope I don't sound too crass but you could always check your cervical position yourself if you're curious... I did toward the end
RMK - I'm glad you kicked your bro out. No offence but the guy sounds like a bit of a loser. He shouldn't have treated you like that. Good on you
Kim - I'm glad there's been some progress with the car situation. I hope things start getting better for you soon
Veronica - congrats on the excellent NT results!
Sorry nutters - I have to cut this short. There is a stinky nappy with my name on it
Hello everyone I missed!
Posted 07 March 2008 - 02:37 PM
Linz - I didn't know where my cervix was when I was TTC let alone now that I'm pg. I have no idea how to tell if it's long short open closed or if I'm any #cm dilated.
Posted 07 March 2008 - 03:13 PM
Hey my lovely nutters,
Today I am feelig much better! I went to bed at about 7.30 and slept until 6.30 am when DS woke!!!! Only have a headache but at least no m/s today!
the Ob was great. He said my uterus has already popped out -I knew that, because my clothes are starting to get a little tight - ALREADY!!!!!! He's a littel concerned with the excessive m/s so am getting a scan to check things and to check dates. He siad it could even be a multiple birth seeign as it's so excessive but of course it's int eh family too!!!! BUT I have to wait 2 weeks It's all booked up until then!!! So i'm starting at 64 kilos which I'm pleased about considering I got to 82kgs with DS so have done ok! Linz i hope it doesn't last too long!!!!Miranda I do hope it's a girl but we really dont' care either!
I'm not doing much over the weekend. I worked today and am rather tired so will do a little shopping in the moring with DH and DS and work a little on DS's new room.
Hope everyone is fab and that you all have a super weekend

Hi to everyone i missed
Posted 07 March 2008 - 08:38 PM
amy, good luck, i think being the only cycle out of whack it might be too hard to tell why, either skipped Oing or Oing very late, hope OB can give you a more definitely answer.
trina, yeah on the check up, still no sign of anything?
linz, me another one have no idea how to check the CP, i think G spot is as far as i can reach, is it far enough? where exactly is cervix?
stacey, good luck testing!!!!!
sarah, another 2WW!! wow do you have twins in either side of the family?
hi everyone, just a quick one from me, we are all sick, tummy bugs, chesty, throaty, cough, etc... you name it, think we get it from nick, however he seems to be quite alright, grrrrrrrrr......... they do say some virus are worse on adult. so richard is already in bed resting, think he will rejoin me for a bit of wind-down after i put nick to bed, hopefully before 11 tonight, then he will need a few stiff night caps before i kick him into guest room, hehehe, sounds like fun? well better get my shower started night night all and wish everyone a lovely weekend.

Morning nutters. Sorry I have been so stressed out and busy that I have been neglecting you. However, there now does appear to be a little light at the end of the very long tunnel now.
The car: Extra cost $620 and that should get it back on the road. Unfortunately it appears that we bought a car that someone had severely overheated and then bodgied up the damage. When they fixed the original problem it uncovered the new problem which is extremely expensive to fix and actually not worth doing on a vehicle that is 9 years old. They are hoping for our sake that all the work they have currently done, plus what they will do next week will buy us a couple of years at most with alot of TLC.
Our finance has been done now and I am off shopping today to buy all the things I need for the baby. This will really be the first time I have bought anything for this baby.
Brooke has pretty much slept through the night for the last few nights except for a couple of stirs through the night. We reintroduced the bottle at night and I think it is just a feeling insecure thing, cause once she has that, straight off to sleep and we barely hear a peep out of her. Will try getting her back off it again in a few weeks once she is feeling a little more settled and secure I think.
Stacey: Test, test, test. Fingers crossed for you.
Trina: Glad to hear you are both doing so well. Take care of yourself and be kind to yourself too now that things are getting so close.
Amy: Glad your DH went and had the tests done. Hope you both get some answers next week.
Miranda: Hope you all feel better real soon.
Linz: Check the cervix myself? That would be like asking a man to find the kitchen sink. Know it is there somewhere .....
OK, off to check my online auctions before this mad ravel of mine wake up. Love to all. Have a great weekend.
Posted 08 March 2008 - 07:50 AM
On Thursday I got another and I still no AF and sick, so I've booked into the doctors to see if I can get a blood test done to find out what's going on.
Posted 08 March 2008 - 10:56 AM
MissMia - good luck with DH's count, fingers crossed you get a good result next week.
Veronica - yay bubs, so glad the scan went well.
RMK - what a nightmare with your bro, it's so much more upsetting when it's family isn't it instead of just any old housemate. I hope your family meeting can iron some things out.
DS's wee sounds worrying. Maybe a kidney or bladder infection? I hope the doc can find out soon for you.
Kim - poor Brooke. Kids are quite instinctive and can pick up on worries around the house. I hope she can get a good night's sleep soon for both of your sakes.
I'm glad RACQ has been so helpful for you. 2008 will pick up for you and end up being a wonderful year.
Sarah - GO AWAY M/S!! I hope that helps LOL. I was knocked off my feet for the first 3 mths, it sucked, (& I had a girl too LOL) I hope it eases soon for you.
Glad you liked your ob. How would you feel if you had twins?
Stace - got my fingers crossed for you
Trina - your vitals sound perfect, not long - I better start stalking more often now, ooo it's so exciting.
and with Linz's suggestion of testing your cervix yourself, I couldn't reach mine LOL
Miranda - hope you're all feeling well soon - yucky!!
Me - have to cut this short as I'm now typing one handed...
DD is ok but still not normal. She can pass #2s herself but it aint poo, just coloured water. She has lots off wee nappies so at least I know she is getting enough fluids. Seeing paed on Tuesday so hopefully can have some light shed on the subject.
Posted 08 March 2008 - 04:44 PM
CC - glad bubs is passing something & hope that you find out some more on Tuesday
MyLittleFamily - How long ago was AF due? Hope you get some answers with your GP.
pegglessister - glad that RACQ are doing something for you. I hope that Brooke settles quickly.
clueless - oh you poor things. I hope that the bug passes quickly. Theres nothing worse than when the whole family is sick.
MissMiasMummy - Naughty AF. Hope all goes well with the results from the sperm count.
sarah - glad you are feeling better
Hello to everyone else i missed
Me - Well bro is finally gone. He still has some crap here, but mum told him not to come around unless he calls her first so lets hope thats what he does. We keep all the doors locked so that he cant just waltz in. Thats pretty much all there is to report from me.

Sorry for being MIA for the last few weeks. I’m struggling with MS and exhaustion at the moment, but I’m taking that as a good sign for this pg. I’ve even thrown up a few times, which I didn’t do with Dylan. I’ve also had a bout of food poisoning, a hen’s night and a wedding in the last week and a half, and am currently battling a cold. This pg is so much harder than Dylan’s. By this time with Dylan, I’d put on 3kg already, but this time I’m actually about 2kg lighter than when I fell pg. My MS is so much worse in the afternoons than the mornings, which just happens to coincide with getting home from work and when I should be spending quality time with Dylan. Thank god for DH and my sister.
Dylan is now walking like a pro, you’d think he’d been doing it forever. We were going to have a party for his 1st birthday, but I just don’t have the energy to organise one, and it looks like DH will be away for it. So I think we’re just going to have a family BBQ instead.
I really hope that there have been some BFPs while I've been away. Sorry for not doing any personals, getting on the computer is a struggle, so I've done a pretty generic post that I am copy and pasting into a few threads, and then adding onto. Sorry! I really will try and do better once this MS goes away, I just it is soon. Sending all my BFP vibes to everyone.
Posted 08 March 2008 - 08:42 PM
Veronica – that’s great about your scan, glad it went so well.
Sarah – oh you poor thing, hope the MS goes away soon. Only 5 weeks until 2nd trimester....glad you felt better yesterday though…and a possible multiple! Aargh! How do you feel about that?
Amy – that’s great Joel had the count done, hope the results are good.
Miranda – My abnormal pap test was a “low grade squamous intraepithelial lesion” (I’ve got the paperwork next to me….would never remember that off the top of my head!) which is apparently very common, nothing to worry about (yet) and most of the time will correct itself with no intervention. Of course all DH hears is “abnormal pap test” and it worries him, but he is right I think, would be best to just make sure all is perfectly OK before TTC again. Oh and how are you all feeling now?
Stace – sorry you’re in “limbo” at the moment, hope you can get some answers soon.
CC – sounds like M is making progress at least…poor little bubba.
RMK – glad to hear you’ve sorted out the situation with your brother, let’s hope he sticks to the agreement…
Trina – glad to hear Apple is happy and healthy in there. Oh and my cervix and I speak a different language too
Georgia – thanks for popping in, I really hope you feel better soon sweetie.
Me – not much to report really, waiting to see what happens this cycle. I couldn’t change my post-op appointment, so I might O before then (but going by past cycles maybe not). Maybe we’ll wait another cycle before TTC…oh I don’t know, we’ll just see what happens I suppose. I bought a new pair of jeans today they are sooo nice and cost way too much money but I don’t fit into any of my old jeans anymore (I’ve been wearing my maternity pants!!!) so it was a necessary purchase . Oh and I’ve ordered some more nappies for DD from the US (fantastic exchange rate ATM, very happy!) what’s the bet she decides to TT as soon as they arrive? I won’t complain though .
Posted 10 March 2008 - 06:35 AM
I'm still around in case anyone is wondering. I don't have time for personals now i'll be back later for that just wanted to do a general hi to everyone and wish anyone luck who is testing.
Posted 10 March 2008 - 06:38 AM
My it was quiet over the weekend. Hope that means everyone was out and about having a lovely weekend.
MISMIASMUMMY - Good luck with your DH's count this week. Sorry to hear AF showed up.
STACE - How are you feeling? Has AF stayed away? Sorry to hear you got a BFN, have you retested yet?
VERIONCA - Glad to hear your scan went well. My cousin is due on the 17th, she would be in your DIG.
RMK - Sorry to hear AF arrived last week. Fingers crossed this will be your month. OMG I hope there is any thng to serious with your little man.
KIM - :bighugs: Good to hear that Brooke has been sleeping through, the bottle obviously worked. What a nightmare with your car, hope it is all fixed up soon.
SARAH - how are you feeling? Just cause your m/s is so bad, doesn't necessarily been you are having multiples. Mine with DS was horrendous, loosing 10kg before I hit 12w.
MIRANDA - If that is true about worse morning sickness with a girl. God help me if I fall pg with a little girl then. I had horrendous m/s with Will, had it all through my pg, lost 10kg by 12wks. How are you doing?
TRINA - Wow anytime now and you will be meeting your little bubba.
CC - How is your DD going? any improvement?
GEORGIA - Sorry to hear the m/s is knocking you for a sick, mine was always worse in the mornings and afternoon.
Hi Linz, Pebblesf and anyone else I may have missed.
Well I am 10dpo, AF is due on Thursday. Pretty sure she will arrive on time. O day for the past few months has fallen when DH is on night shift. My Ob told us last week that the chances of conceiving then is not really good as he won't be producing strong swimmers. My Ob said I am healthy and there is no problems, but if I am not pg in the next 3mths he will start clomid. He doesn't want me to though for a number of reasons and DH agrees, so hopefully I will be pg in the next 3 mths, cause I am not sure what else we can do.
Anyway off to work today, so I hope everyone has a great day.
