hi just wondering what "NT" means in relation to ultrasounds??

#11 shimmershine

Posted 07 March 2010 - 03:52 PM

DTD = doing the deed

NT is most likely referring to the nuchal translucency scan that can be done around 12/13 weeks.

while a eb member for a while, I have not really posted much before and so all new to me.
This might be a silly question but I noticed I have a rating on my profile (0<10) or something similar.

What does this mean.......? I noticed no-one else seems to have this?

It's your warning level.  Only you and the mods can see yours.  If you're well behaved you will show 0 out of 10.  original.gif

Btw= by the way ....I think

Baby led weaning? Not sure exactly what it entails...there's probably a whole thread on it somewhere....baby led cleaning sounds good though!

Baby led cleaning??!!  Or baby led weaning?  If it's the latter, it refers to allowing your baby to start solid foods by giving them pieces of "normal" food to pick up an eat (ie. finger foods) rather than purees.  Gil Rapley has written a book on it.  Often abbreviated to BLW.

BTW is "by the way".

As for "baby led cleaning" ... ????

The one that always tripped me up when I first joined EB was "FF" because it's so context-specific.

In the TTC forums = Fertility Friend (ie. the website of that name)
In the feeding your baby forum = formula fed
In the carseat forum = forward facing

Still gets me sometimes when I see it used in a thread title in Recent Topics.
