A bit about me:
*Lived in Canberra 2.5yrs, moved up from Tasmania. *Primary school teacher, currently on mat leave, due to return to work on the 10th Oct - Term 4 - which is way too soon for me, but....
*I too come from a big family (no. 5 of 9) and would love to have a big family but both DH and 'reality' would not so my two are it, I imagine, though I'm very jealous of those who are expecting or TTC.
Interests.... reading, gardening, picnicing/camping, family, love to be able to sew but I'm 'Craft challenged"

A bit about me: Just loooove being a SAHM to my 2 boys. I'm homeschooling the older one this year - what a blast! We moved here from Brisbane at the start of the year for DH's job. Wasn't keen on the move at the time, but it's turned out great! We are waiting to hear about jobs for DH for next year - then we'll know whether we stay here long term or head back to Brissie. In my spare time (easier to get now that the boys are past being toddlers!) I enjoy playing with the kids, reading, scrapbooking, quilting, gym, listening to Christian music, coffees out, playgroup, doing any of the hundreds of great outings around Canberra, or meeting up with DH at Glebe Park on his lunch break
We enjoy bushwalking,camping,friends,picnics....the list goes on!
Hope there'll be something soon where I can meet some of you girls!

Children: Erin 15, Nicholas 13, Hayley 8, Tahnee 19 months,
A bit about me: I'm a SAHM who wonders how working mums manage work and family at the same time! I stay busy keeping house and family organised, ferrying them to and from school, work and play. In between I'm a creative type, having a go at lots of different craft activities. Sewing is my main time waster though, with ballet costumes taking the majority of it!

I'm a SAHM who discovered EB in July/August, and just wishing that I'd discovered it back when my eldest DS was a baby! I feel like I'm gatecrashing or should be TTC #3 in order to participate..... I love listening to all sorts of music, reading, conversations, food both cooking (not very good or imaginative with it!) and eating (much better at this one), and joining in/helping out with any activities my boys do. Oh, and I don't have a crafty bone in my body, but I envy all you ladies here who do!

Ok, my turn.
Name: Natalie (22)
DP: Allan (27)
Children: Alexander (3 in April) and Megan (1 in March)
A bit about me: I've been studying the Business Diploma and the cert 4 in Employment Services. So far I've finished the Cert 4 in Business and the last step is the management mods in the diploma. So I'm starting to apply for jobs again.
Hobbies: STUDYING, love it love it love it. The best stress relief in the world. Although I've had people ask me how I do all this study with 2 little children but the answer is I don't know any other way.
Hopes and dreams: (I've added this one myself, sorry.) I hope to make friends for my children and myself. But most of all I hope to be true to myself, to wake up each day and thank the world for this wonderful gift I have in my children. To be thankful that my children will grow up and have the best possible care with me their mum.
(underlining hope: shake the PND dargon off my back)
Thanks for reading.
Have a great day. Natalie

Children: Zoe (18m), Jess (16 yrs - well shes not my DD but she is my sister and is living with us now ... long story).
A bit about me: I'm a PhD student in astronomy getting to the end of my thesis (hopefully!). I like to read, love to exercise - although lately that hasn't been too good, but don't have much time for anything else these days. Can't wait to TTC#2, but have to wait till the thesis is submitted, and if I get a super duper cool job then after that as well.

Me Lisa 25
DP Ben 25
Baby Grace which is where mumma-g comes from, not because I think I am a gangsta.
Southern End of Canberra.
Full time in communications, however flexibility has allowed me to work from home. My days and evenings are pretty busy with keeping house and completing work projects. We both study the art of Taekwondo. Our weekends are usually spent trying to complete our landscaping before Grace learns to crawl so she can't get out there and eat the dirt.
