Feel Free Mands, thats why I put it up there! biggrin.gif

I just asked the Grandfather to email me the best looking pic he had of each family member as the kids were going to make him and Grandma something, they are my Ex In Laws so I didn't have pics of the whole family.

We used the clear "wishing stones" as I could't find any half marbles. I think that the things that are in the tute are somewhat larger than the stones we used though.

For the magnet backing I got a set of P plates from Go-Lo as they are predominantly white and did not affect the photos at all.

Cheap as chips activity this one, but brought tears to Grandma's eyes.

I would've liked to decorate the tin that they were in as well but that is not my "thing" sadly.

Have fun,

Hey girls thanks for all those links, Novy that was the flower tute I was after - not sure which I love more, the flower or the bag it's on!!  laughing2.gif

I will keep an eye out for when you've updated your links Novy and add them then.

Surely there must be more though....

A how to

here is one to do your gathering using an overlocker, save so much time and frustration of threads breaking on large gather areas.
I did it today and was done in two minutes as aposed to on same pattern took me an hour by hand and usual sewing machine method.
