I haven't tried it but have just signed up to find out what it's all about (paid upfront but you can return within 30 days and get a refund, otherwise I wouldn't have done it).
It seems to be focusing on eating the right foods at the right times ... which is fairly obvious I suppose. It's a very low-carb diet, with high protein, including proetin snacks after dinner. The idea is to use food to boost your metabolism, so your body is burning fat simply through the type of foods being eaten.
I initially thought it sounded like a real scam, but so far (I've only watched 1 DVD - there are 4) it actually seems to be quite good.... despite some cringey marketing techniques.
The 'secret' they talk about is simply getting the balance right between food and exercise -w e tend to focus our time on high energy exercise, when in reality that type of exercise only really needs to account for about 10% of what we do in order to lose weight. Their argument is that weight loss is 70% about what you eat (and when), 20% about general movement (ie walking, rather than specific exercise) and 10% high energy exercise... So they base their program around that 90% (food and walking) since they say if you invest in that you will be more effective than investing in the high energy/gym workout stuff.
Anyway that's about all I've gotten to so far. It cost me $120 and you get 4 DVDs, a resource/recipe book, food diary, tape measure and pedometer, plus 6 weeks phone or internet counselling. But until I watch and read it all I won't be starting ot deciding on whether to commit.
Hope that helps!

No worries, will keep you posted. It looks to be an eating plan where you eat 6 times a day, 3 meals and 3 protein snacks. You are also supposed to walk 10,000 steps a day (gulp). Minimal dairy intake.

Just an update - I've decided to start Bodytrim in the next week. It makes a lot of sense to me and I'd highly recommend checking it out.
There's a lot to it, in terms of WHY it works, but it's largely about eating foods that enable you to burn fat.
So for example, when you eat carbs, your body will burn the carbs BEFORE it burns fat. So even though they may have the same calorie amount as protein, your body deals with them differently.
Anyway I can't really explain it well, but suffice to say it all makes logical sense to me, and I'd definitely recommend anyone to look into it further.
