Hi girls,  haven't been in here for a while.  Been hanging out in the TTC groups, but I'm up to month 10 so kinda giving up hope.

Annette- I am so sorry about your marriage breakup.  It sounds really rough.  I'm glad DD is happy at her new school. PM me if you ever need to talk.

Lilly- sorry about your friends DH.  My friend was murdered nearly two years ago, leaving his wife and three kids and it is just devastating.

Lisa- Hope you had a great trip!

DD 1 has settled in well at school- nothing really fazes her.  She was having problems with a little girl being a bit possessive, but I spoke to the teacher and it seems to have sorted out now.  i am finding she is terrible with losing school clothes and notes and things.  Don't know if it is because she is young or just messy!

Hi Everyone? (is there still anyone around? laugh.gif )

Wow it has been a long time.

How are you all?

Jordan has well & truly settled into her new school now.
I am so amazed at how she has developed this last term. Her reading & writing have improved out of sight. cclap.gif  It really has only been in the last month that I can read her writing without having to sit there & study it to work out what she has written. Considering she is the youngest in her class I think she is going very well.

She is going to vacation care for the 1st time these school holidays as my parents are away & I have to work. The 1st day she didn't like it as there was no one there she knew. The 2nd day onwards I have had to literally drag her out of there as she doesn't want to leave. laughing2.gif

We sold our house finally in September & everything has been moved out & put into storage. Didn't get quite what we wanted but at least we got something & are not left in debt. XH is still trying to get us back together which, will not happen. I take J to his parents every 2nd weekend for them & her father to see her.
Looks like we will be at my parents for awhile till I can save up to get a place of my own. I really want to avoid the rental market if I can. It has been good at my parents as they have been away travelling since the end of July so it is just like my own place virtually roll2.gif  roll2.gif

Better go & do some more work.

Hope everyone is well.

Annette & Jordan

Hey everyone.

Just thought I check in and see how everyone is going.  I can't believe our "babies" are nearly 6 years old.  It has gone so quickly.  Isabella has finally settled in at school I wish I would have kept her back until she was nearly six.

Lachlan is 2 coming up to three in June next year, we are nearly out of the nappy stage which is kinda sad.   I would love one more but DH is not keen, can't imagine my house without really "little ones" around.

Wishing everyone a merry christmas and a wonderful new year!
