Has anyone got any bright ideas about working from home?  I was thinking about doing resumes for people maybe.  I hate bookkeeping so that's out.  I was thinking of selling stuff on ebay but I am pretty clueless about that.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Give me some suggestions of things you can do....

Can you touch type? You can earn a lot doing typing for people.

Child minding / animals etc, narrow down the options for me & I should be able to think of something for you!

Hi,

Don't mean to hijack the thread or anything, but I was just wondering - Angela, I can touch type and was thinking of trying to do some work from home next year (after bubs is born).  Not sure exactly what, or how to go about it, so if you have any ideas I'd love to hear them.  Thanks,

Take care,

A friend of mine works from home and does typing for people. Mainly small business people send her tapes and she types them and couriers it back to them within 24 hours. She makes quite a good income. She also does things like book keeping, resumes, data base updates etc.

I dont know how to really go about it but she has an ad in the yellow pages and also mailes flyers out to all the local businesses in her area.

Cool - thanks, that sounds exactly like the things I was hoping to do.  Nice to know that it's a viable idea.

Take care,
