Hi All

Sorry been a while, been hectic here, been flat out at work, have had my Mum sick in hospital and my dad sick at home by himself,  so been running around after everyone.

M/s seems to be easing off, (at last!!) still get very tired, but am generally feeling much better. Waist is starting to expand, yesterday was the first time I've had to undo my jeans because they were too tight.. Still only put on half a kilo though, although Dp reckons I'm still losing weight from other areas, so this may be evening out with anything the tadpole is adding.

Had my 12 week scan late last week. Got a few pics from the 3d machine before they had to pack it up, and had the measurements and such done on the normal machine. Came out of the place with a couple of printed 3d pics, a disc of 3d images, the normal disc with all the pics and measurements and a DVD of the tadpole wriggling aournd. It was proving very active and uncooperative, kept truning it's back to us when the sonographer was trying to take measurements.  Anyway everything is looked good on the scans.  DP came along and got to see the 'tadpole', which has made it all a bit more real for him now.
Will try and put a couple of pics online.

Lainey - comiserations on the m/s, I know how you feel, but it does get better.

Bluemist - Congrats on the arrival of Alina Joan!!

Minni - Damn AF, perhaps you are right and it was just the wrong time, now next time.....

JB - Hope you get your tickets. Glad to hear everything is going so well and you are enjoying the pregnancy.

Vicki - hope the cold clears up soon and you start to feel better.

Chrissy - Another week down. Stay positive, nearly there!

Mergie - fingers crossed....go embies!!

Sashy - Welcome.

Stay Strong! Think Positive!

Good Morning girls - Thanks so much for your kind words & support, it really does help.

I had my baby shower on the weekend and my girlfriend went to so much trouble there were lovely pink & blue bows everywhere  - vases of babys breathe & pink, blue and white baloons everywhere & it was so good to be surrounded by my fabulous friends - there were lots of laughs & games so although I was tired, it was just the best afternoon.

I did some more organising of the bubs room yesterday - with DH moving things from one side of the room & back again - he has been so patient.

Susan - its such a relief to see your little one onthe screen  -you are so lucky that you got the DVD - our place would not allow us to take a video. Remember to take care of yourself too - I did not know whether to laugh or cry when my ordinary clothes stopped fitting me.

Mergie - everything is still crossed for you. Try to keep thinking positive thoughts. I hope your DS is a lot better by now.

Cathy - Thanks for your reassuring words.

Hope everyone has a great short week. After today its only 6 working days left fot me - plus I have appointments & classes to keep me busy.

Take care ladies

Must be a hormone surge today everything is making me cry.  Really stupid things we must get out of the house today.  Hope everyone is going well and have a great weekend. Off to the BP doctor today supposed to go to her alternate fortnight with the OB but she's today and OB is on Monday..  Hopefully all is OK because DD and I are off to Brisbane next week to visit my sister and brother and her cousins.  Then when we return we have the 19 week scan.. All is happening so fast, the neighbours cat that crys all night doesn't help, I just wish I knew which neighbour it belonged to.

regards Cathy

Hi girls,

just a quick note to say hello.

Mergie, I was just wondering how you're going. Hope you're holding up OK.

Cathy, Chrissy, Susan - you all sound like you're doing well original.gif sorry I can't do personals today - at work.

I started sniffing synarel & jabbing Puregon on Wednesday. The Synarel is giving me headaches - more than previous cycles - oh well. Back to the clinicn on Monday for a BT to see how I'm responding.

Hi Girls

I'm holding out OK.  I did ring the Nurses again during the week as I was doubled over in pain.  They said to take Panadol and ring my Dr if this didn't help.  The Panadol worked so all is well again.

I'm starting to get AF like cramps (SH*T) so not feeling very confident at all.  I don't think I'll test before the BT, but who knows I might sneak a quick one in on Tuesday night.

Vicki - The Synarel gave me headaches too.  Good Luck with your appoint Monday.

Cathy - Wow, you're a jetsetter aren't you.  Have a great trip.

Hi to everyone else.

I'll pop back later next week.

Take care all

How rude of me....

I breezed passed some of the posts, sorry..

Chrissy - Your babyshower sounded wonderful.  What dear friends you have.  I remember doing DS's room before he was born, I too drove DH nuts moving everything.  It's fun isn't it?

Sue - So pleased for you and your scan.  What a wonderful thing to treasure for years to come.

Ok, I'm off now.

Hi All!!!!!!!!!

I'm still around!  Sorry to have missed out on 4 million threads.........

Welcome newby's - I'm sort of an oldie thread person.....

Bluemist CONGRATULATIONS!!! Love the news - love new little bubba's!

JB, Mamadom, Wishingstar, Gummybear..... ohhh I'm just so happy for you all - as for all the preggie mummies to be!!!!!

And those of you TTC - prayers and well wishes for you - coz I've got such a precious little bundle!!

My update:  Gabby now 6 months and 6 days!!  I've been introducing "solids" and at first she wasn't really interested, but she has taken to apple puree mixed with 1/2teas farex......  She's weighing about 8kgs and is no longer in a capsule for the car - but has a car seat - I balled my eyes out when we had to give the capsule back - a chapter in her life now closed!

KH (I've dropped the D for darling - and KH = Knucklehead for those that don't know or can't remember)...... I sent him back to his mum's 4 days ago.  His drinking episode over the ANZAC long w'end was enough.  He has until 30 May to sort himself out and work out whether he wants to be with me and Gabby or not.

I have been a mess the last few days, but have had great support from my boss at work who has let me have some time off.  I still HOPE that he will work it out - but someone needs to slap him and his MUM!!!

He came in very very drunk on Monday at 3am and wanted to see Gabby - yes - at 3am..... when I said no after he had kicked over the bin in her room, he said that I was stopping him from seeing his daughter..... YESSSSSSSSSs - I would stop any idiot from seeing her at that time who was drunk!!!

Then there was the childcare "discussion"...... I haven't told him yet - but I've finally got her in 1 day/wk starting mid May - I'm currently working 3 days/wk and in Sept I go back to 5 days.  Anyway - I think she will just love it!  She loves going to the pool and seeing other bubba's and when she sees Angus (JenJen's little man) she is just soooooo happy!

Anyway - I'll try again to pop back in sooner.

Gabby and I will be fine.  Thanks to you guys and the other ladies in the Nov 04 group - I've drawn extra strength to let the KH go - even though for a short time, but I couldn't do it anymore.......  I'm still sad and I still cry - maybe he'll figure it out!

So - well done to those whose bellies are growing.....

Big hugs to you all and take lots of special care of yourselves!

Mx

Hi Guys!
Just a quick pop in. I've been away all week down the Gold Coast and got home yesterday and this morning I am moving my eldest and her b/f into a unit. Lucky me LOL!!
The week away has been just gorgeous. We only took the youngest with us and spent the whole week going no more than 5kms away from the unit. I have either been on the beach, in the pool or walking somewhere. Total relaxation but of course its always nice to come home and sleep in your own bed. Thankyou to all of you for your messages on the last m/c. I think I really needed that break away.
Angels cross our paths in life and my SIL is one of them as she was the one who booked and paid for our unit and sent us away while she housesat and kept an eye on my teenager DS. I really am blessed with wonderful IL's.

Mazzeee  Hon, I'm so sorry that KH is being such a moron. It really is heartbreaking stuff. Stay strong for your gorgeous bub and do what is the best for you two. Sending positive thoughts in your direction.

Chrissy  That baby shower sounds divine. What great friends you have.

Mergie  Four more days to go mate. Hang in there. I've got everything crossed for you.

Have a good one everyone!

Howdy everyone, been MIA for some time.
Mazee..sorry to hear about KH and his crap behaviour.  Honestly think you are doing the right thing this time, and you sound so much stronger...good on you!
Mergie..stay strong girl, sending every possible positve vibe your way.  You deserve a BFP this time, its your turn!
Chrissy..Ive got my sis and friend both wanting to throw me baby shower,  but Im slightly superstitious about pre baby showers...am I a weirdo? (dont answer that!)
SLJ  I had a 3D scan too, wow amazing hey?  All on vid mind you, to keep forever..think the video is the most watched thing on my TV these days!!
Minni..sorry to read of your news but glad you are putting postive spin on it all.
Well, Ive stopped spewing...i think.  Been over 2 weeks since i said a hello to inside of bowl.  Still dry wretching each morning though.  had my 20 week scan, and everything looking perfect..including the important bits (ha ha not telling you the sex...) actually we are keeping that completely a secret...HAving movement now, and bubs found her/himself a favourite possie in the afternoons, lodging aaginst my left side and really causing discomfort! Just kidding.  Its ok.  I am still gtting cramping most days, Ob diagnosed me with irritable uterus.  Anyone else had this?
Welcome to the world Alina and Nicholas...must say I love both of these names!
Welcome newbies too, this oldies thread has been a godsend to me. Take care and baby dust to all...
