DS is almost 5 months and is normally a happy, smiley, lovely baby
He has always enjoyed tummy time a lot, seems to get bored on his back. In the past week he has learnt to roll from his back to his tummy, which he seems to do at every opportunity. But once he gets onto his tummy he starts grunting and growling and yelling whilst madly kicking and flailing. He looks like he is trying to crawl but he is not going anywhere except sometimes he will spin around in a circle. He quickly gets upset to the point of crying! He will never roll himself back over onto his back (although he has done this a few times in the past so I know he is capable of it), so I flip him back over onto his back, but within a few seconds he has rolled onto his front again and is crying again.
What should I do? I don't like to let him cry but he must want to be on his stomach since it only takes him a few seconds to roll back over?! If babies don't crawl til they're about 7 months will we have to put up with his frustration for 2 more months? I just want him to be happy!
