Hi Ness!  We sure have grown with lots of new bubbas but thankfully NONE in this house! roll2.gif

Gem - Your CC chrissy party sounds like it was great. We have ours on Wed. We had photos done a few weeks back and I ordered a photo of my three together (plus individual packs and class piccies) and am hoping they are ok. It cost me a mint... *sigh*  Having three kids in anything just adds up! The new house sounds great.  Don't let yourself get sucked into staying by K!!!!

- How many days are going back to work?? Try to think of the positives! You get out of the house!!! Does Adele like childcare??? Are they both going to be in childcare???

Lara - I Know i was so controlled with only spending $10.. I have got the catalogue though with lots of stuff circled!! I think the boys are getting new bedroom furniture for their birthday (plus new bikes).. just have to tell DH! roll2.gif  How did A like Angelina Ballerina??

I had my work christmas party last night and it was unreal. We went on a harbour cruise and we were all very drunk.. lots of cocktails and dancing / singing. All the oldies came out like The Gambler, Paradise by the Dashboard Light, Grease etc and all us girls (about 10 of us) were going off! roll2.gif Our big boss thought it was hilarious!!   I ended up sleeping at a friends house as I was in no condition to drive home (funny that!).. so came home this morning via Maccas.. I so needed a bacon & egg mcmuffin! original.gif

Anyhow quiet weekend planned now... just chilling out.. wink.gif  I have to go to get a Secret Santa pressie tomorrow for a work friend, but apart from that nothing else! original.gif

Rach- no more babies in your house hey, I was certain you would be keen for more haha :-)

Gemma- my kids are good they keep me very busy! I'm sure you know all about that though seen as though you are up to #4, she is so cute congratulations.

Well seen as though my life has slowed down a little I hopefully will get a chance to check in more often.

Ness - lovely to see you posting.

Rach - love the new Christmas sig.  Audrey loved Angelina.  We are off to the wiggles on Wednesday and she seems very excited about that

Cass - good luck on your first day back at work.  Hopefully DH copes with his new role.

Audrey is sick at the moment so my free 3 year old day (daycare day) has been ruined and yesterday she laid on the couch all day.  She has this awful cough but the dr said it is just a virus.  Very annoying.

Hey Ness, nice to hear from you original.gif

Lara - poor Audrey and poor you! I really value my 3 y/o free days!

Rach - I'm gonna text you when I have the baby because I have your mobile number, has it changed? Everyone will probably hear on facebook but I just thought you wouldn't mind posting the info in here for me biggrin.gif

So I'm 38 weeks today original.gif Fingers crossed that she comes sooner rather than later because I'm big and hot! But feeling pretty good really, especially compared to my previous pregnancies - not feeling any hints of pnd, which just makes all the difference in the world tthumbs.gif

Well hopefully I'll have some news for you soon

Charaja - hope your little blue bundle is here safe and sound soon too  biggrin.gif

Rose - We definitely have to catch up when we are up there! original.gif Gorgeous piccies. Miss Olivia is getting so big!

Em - OMG I can't believe how close to D Day you are!! I will PM you my mobile number so you can check that its the same one! original.gif How exciting!! original.gif

Ness - I was really keen for one more but DH is adamant he doesn't want anymore, so I kinda got over it! roll2.gif  Now that Isabel is 3 1/2 I honestly can't see myself with a newborn. I just make sure I give my niece Keira (who is 3 months) lots of kisses and cuddles.  The other day I was at the park with my sis and her two kids who are both younger than my three and my sis had to run off to do something so I had the 5 kids to myself, and Keira needed to be changed as she did a stinker, and Aidan had to do a wee. oomg.gif you should have seen the production to get to the bathroom! roll2.gif So that turned me off the idea even more!

Well we went to the ocean baths and beach this morning at Newcastle. It was lovely.  The kids played in the big ocean pool which is quite shallow, then we played on the beach and in the waves. We were only there for an hour but that was long enough as it was getting quite warm.  Then we came home via the grocery shop and bought some ice blocks and they just had one each outside... I don't think there is anything better on a nice sunny day than going to the beach and having an ice block! tthumbs.gif

I can't believe how crazy life is = truly the busy season!! This week I am working tomorrow & Wed, then Wed night is the kids chrissy party at daycare, Thurs is a morning tea at work to give our secret santa pressies, then Friday is my work christmas party for the kids.  It is going to be awesome - we are having big rides, horse riding, sumo suits, go carts, etc...  They were only going to have tickets for the kids (where they get a pressie from Santa too), but have introduced adult "ride only" tickets so we can go on the fun stuff with the kids. I am stoked - should be great fun!! wink.gif

Okey better go - want to chill out in the air con .... its too bloody hot!

Hi all,
Sorry so long away again!
Have only read back this thread.

Hello Keshia and good to see you Ness. Olivia has grown up so much!

Lovely pics everyone.

Gemma - Sounds like you have found a friend in an unlikely person!! And best rid of that other one!!!

Emma - OMG Can't believe you are that close already!!! Your EDD must be around Christmas?!

A bit of news from me. I texted Mel the other day, but like me, she must have been waylaid posting (I was about to post this week when things went haywire!)
I am about to leave Royal North Shore hospital sometime today. I have been here since Tuesday night with Grace. She has pneumonia!!!!   sad.gif

She woke Sat morning with a bit of a cough and was eating a little less solid food. Then Sunday night I was up for nearly 3 hours with her - not hot, but sweaty and generally cranky. At one point we thought she just didn't want to be asleep, but the TV with me on the couch trying to sleep didn't work either!
Monday she slept in, then after 2 hours went back for 4 hours in the rocker! I went to feed her wether she wanted it or not as she needed it and when I picked her up she was boiling!!! 39.69 C!! I took her straight off to docs - just a cold, no secondary bacterial infection. Panadol brought it down and then we just kept the panadol up every 6 or so hours when it spiked again.
Tuesday morning at Gymbaroo with B, she looked terrible and I thought we shouldn't be there. Mum came in the afternoon and when she woke about 4pm, she was reallly hot again and very upset. The panadol didn't seem to work on the fever much and not at all on her demeanour and she was virtually translucent in colour!!! and at times stiff necked (that worried me), then completely limp! She also wouldn't feed. Mum said to go to the hospital or at least the doc. I asked about waiting a bit more for the panadol to kick in but Mum said not to. But as we can't fit mum in the back between the carseats and she wouldn't have been confident enough to drive inpeak hour and I hate havign sickkids in the back when I'm driving and can't watch them - freaks me out - we called the ambulance!
About 7 mins later they arrived and were great. Said I'd done the right thing and they didn't like the look of her so I had a ride in an ambulance siren and all! Poor B really wanted to come to!! Not sure if it was just to be in the ambo or to be with me.
Poor little thing had all these docs etc round her and ended up with 2 canulas, blood tests, oxygen at one point, urine sample, chest x-ray and later a lumbar puncture!! She was almost babbling on the table and it was a mamamam sound!!!
I was suprisingly calm, but later that night it all hit me that she may be really ill and what was going to happen!!!!??? Doc actually said yesterday that she had been 'very ill' when she came!!! I started to panic about what would happen if she didn't respond to the AB's. And then Mum said on the phone " She's not going to die is she?" So I was abit freaked out obviously!!

X-ray showed the pneumonia, but they still can't actually hear it - not uncommon in small children/babies. And white blood cell count abnormally high - fighting the infection. LP was clear, so no meningitis thank god!Anyway, thankfully she responded to the AB's (it's a bacterial form of Pneumonia) and the temp came down and has stayed down, along with her breathing slowing back to normal. She has been feeding well and sleeping reasonably too, so we have been given the all clear today. But of course, being this time of the year, I've missed heaps this week and tomorrow will have to keep her home while B and Dh go to his work's kids xmas party (which we missed last year) and that's the only 'work' xmas party I get to go to!
We have to keep her home and away from others (particularly kids) for 5-7 days and have a follow up chest xray and appt in 6 wks. I think I will still take her to PG party on wednesday as that will be 5 days and it's outside, so I can keep her isolated, but I have no-one here that day to look after her for B to go.
And I am taking over Day leader role next year, so I'd like to be there.
B has a snotty nose and MIL is taking him to docs today and DH has had a bad cold/cough and been kept awake with it running down his throat again (3rd time in 5 mths!) And I was out all day Sunday with a stomach bug!!!

On a lighter note, I saw "Wicked" again 2 weeks ago. I won tickets on the radio and they had a cocktail party beforehand where you had to come in your 'greenest' outfit. So I made a dress out of Woolies green bags!!! Headpeice with the emerald city on it and 'emerald' slippers! I won the main prize of a year's worth of theatre tickets!!!!
Dh couldn't come with me though as he was sick and I so wanted him to mellow.gif .

Anyway, that's about it from me. Will try to post a pic of the dress.
Hope you are all well.

Cheers, Bel

OMG I just remembered that Bel had texted me about Grace being unwell and I was supposed to post the news in here! I am soooooo sorry Bel I feel terrible! I saw your message on the way to a meeting and thought to myself "I'll post that when I get back to my desk" and then completely forgot! I'm really not sure what made me think of it now. Again I am sorry.

I haven't read back, I'll do that in a minute but nothing much to report here. We've just been busy with the usual Xmas stuff, went to carols in the park last night and had a good night. Most of you probably remember me speaking of my friend whose husband had the drug addiction, I've had not much to do with her the last 6 or so months (for various reasons), she came down to the carols last night and we had a really nice night together so that was good. Her husband though lost his job during the week for failing a drug test at work.....She is shattered and feels like the stupidest woman on earth. She's asked him leave, he won't and she can't afford to get out. I feel awful for her, and I just can't believe how silly he is, he refuses to go to rehab. Anyway, we had a nice night together so I'm hoping we can start to fix our friendship a little now.

I'm still having huge issues with Zoe's toileting, some days we have 5+ acccidents a day. She seems to have rock hard poos, and then after uping the fruit and fibre just a little bit they are majorly soft again. She has lots of wee accidents as well. I'm at my whits end with it all and am starting to think I should take her to the doctor to have it checked out???? I don't know though is that the sort of thing a GP can help with??

Hope everybody is all ready and organised for Xmas original.gif I'll go and read back now and again I am sorry Bel.

I can't stay, I have to make something for a Xmas party this morning but wanted to say to Bel I am glad Grace is starting to recover and it must have been an awful trip to and stay in th hospital. Hopefully all will be well with you by Xmas.

Mell: Yep, talk to a GP. It can be a very psychological thing with some kids and he/she might be able to give you some ideas.

Must dash and Hi everyone else

This is my 3rd attempt over a week at getting a post on here... Let's hope I actually get this one posted!

Bel - How scary for you, I hope all is ok now and you and your family can enjoy the Festive Season together.  Great work on the dress!

Mel - We are having issues with DS's toileting same poo issues as what you've mentioned and he'll be all good for a few days then, for no apparent reason, go a week having accidents several times a day, both 1's & 2's.  We are dry most nights lately though but have had an accident there too (on my bed!).  He's a bit all over the place, I've put it down to the back and forth that they reckon is normal, the move and Seth's arrival.  I hope he's over it soon it makes it hard when you need to go out.  I'm not sure how to deal with it either!

NessNess - Lovely photo's!

Rach - it certainly is the silly/busy season at the moment!  and I agree the beach and ice blocks are a great way to spend a lovely summer day!  The park sounded fun (NOT) lol.

Rose - Those pix are just adorable!!

Emma - wow I can't believe you'll have a bubba in your arms soon...  that has gone way too quickly - really shows how long I've been stuck in my own little world!!

Well as for us - we are plodding along nicely.  Chayse is as rough and ready as always - full steam ahead and bugger anything in his way LOL.. such a boy.  He's learning so much it truly is amazing to see the progress from week to week.  He's such an independant boy too - I have no idea where he gets that from  wwhistle.gif   We only have him in Daycare two days a week now instead of the 3.

Seth is doing well, we saw the specialist last week and we're allowed to take the harness off for an hour a day to have a bath now, which is a huge relief in this weather - he's loving the bath kicking and splashing.  He has to keep it on for another six weeks then we go for an Ultra Sound to see how things have progressed.  Then back to the specialist to talk about where to from there.  WE are off to the Peadiatrician this week to get the hernia checked out - it was tucked in with a cotton wool ball and taped up for 3 weeks, the hole is much smaller now so hopefully the Paed is happy with it and no further action will be required, just have to wait and see though.

WE have two Christmas parties this week - both lunch time ones, so that should be nice.  Oh and our house sold, it should settle on Friday, that's a huge relief for us.

That's about it for me...  hopefully I can make it back in here a bit more often.

Enjoy the lead up to Christmas!!!  (And just in case I don't get back in here beforehand)
Have a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Char: Thats good progress. Good to know it is working original.gif

Coming in just to post about me (totally selfish post). I have been sooooo sick this week with food poisoning. Luckily no one else in our house is sick so I think I've picked it up at one of the recent events we went to. It started with nausea at lunchtime on Monday, progressing to vomiting and stomach pains that night. Tues I spent all day on the lounge with nausea and vomiting then a high grade fever, over 40 degrees. I started feeling a bit better Tues night and was able to eat something. Wed I thought I was pretty much over it, just a bit of nausea after eating but nothing too bad. Then yesterday the bum-wee started. I am meant to be going to a Xmas party tonight but I'll see how I am going this afternoon before I make a decision.

Isla currently has bronchiolitis as well. Ugh....I'm OVER being sick. I can't believe just how sick we have been as a family this year (although i know it pales in comparison to others).

Anyway, enough about me....

Catch you all next week before Xmas.

Bel ~ Hope Grace is better, poor little thing. You could have txt me(if you still have my number) i have access to the comp all day most days

Kira ~ Yuck, you poor thing. Hope you are better soon. And Isla too

Char ~ Good to hear the harness is working.

Rose ~ Love the photo's of your kids, the last one with all of them is my fav wub.gif

AFM ~ Kaitlyn may be meeting her sister this weekend and maybe her Aunty too.  Havent heard from A since his little outburst. Glad i havent. In speaking to his ex wife i am so happy that he left me when he did, especially after what she told me about him being abusive, what an absolute w*n*er, he told me he wouldnt hurt a woman, just another thing to add to his list of lies.

My brother and SIL had another M/C, they found out on Weds that the baby had passed away, she was 11w 5d sad.gif im worried about my brother, he has had too much happen the last few years and i dont know how much more he can take sad.gif

Anyway must be off, things to do

Happy Birthday AND Congratulations Emma - Eva is a lovely name and I adore Faith as well.

We've had a hectic weekend catching up with people before Xmas but it's been very enjoyable and this year I've managed to fit in everybody I wanted to see! 3 days of work this week then it's holiday's until the 18th of Jan - I am so looking forward to the break. I have sh*tloads to do before then but it will be worth it to have so much time off.

Will be back before Xmas.

Hi girls

Well I am back again.. wink.gif

I am so excited for you Emma! I adore the name Eva Faith - it is so cute! wub.gif I bet your girls are just in wub.gif with their little sister. I can't wait to see pics.

Mell - Yay on having 3 1/2 weeks off! ddance.gif  That is cool!! I am off until the 11th Jan and am loving the idea of it!

Bel - I hope Grace is better.. poor little darling! What a fright for you!

Kira - You poor thing! Food poisoning sucks!!!!  And poor Isla too with bronchiolitis!

Gem - I agree with you that you got out of the relationship with A at the right time. He doesn't sound like he is "all there". Your poor bro & SIL sad.gif

Shan - Hiya!!  How are you going???!! Are you heading up this way over the break??

Lara - Hi my dear friend! I miss you too.. xoxox  I will be down there in the next month or so.. just have to organise with BJ when is a good time (and of course check when you are free!).

Hi Leah, Susie, Rose & everyone else! waves.gif

Well I finished work on Friday until 11 Jan. I am so happy to be on holidays!! original.gif  On THursday at work it was great actually our boss took us for surfing lessons (which were so funny), then we went out for lunch. Gotta love being paid to have fun! original.gif Then on Friday of course we had double the work to do but it was worth it! original.gif

Yesterday I met up with some work friends for lunch in Newcastle at a gorgeous little restaurant.  I have gotten out for dinner / drinks so much since i have been back at work. I am loving it - it is great to balance my Mummy/Wife life and working life. Good thing DH is happy to be home with the kids while I go out with the girls! wink.gif I actually had a cocktail at lunch yesterday and we were there for 3 hours, and on the way home there was a RBT oomg.gif  I got waved through thank god. I think I would have been ok - as I also drank 4 coke zeros and had the cocktail at the start of lunch.  I think I just always have a guilty conscience.

Today I am heading to IKEA in Sydney. I am meeting an old friend there and then we will have lunch together. I have to pick up some of the LACK side tables for my kids, plus a kids table and chairs for a friend.

On Wednesday kids are at CC so I will be going to our big shopping centre at Kotara (where they have Toys R' Us, Kmart, Target, DJ's etc) to finish off the last minute shopping.  I can't wait to shop in peace. I am going to go early - so have breakfast there first up and then shop and get it all done in a few hours! wink.gif

Okey gotta go and feed my daughter breakfast. She is starving apparently rolleyes.gif
