DS2 has been on formula for 2 weeks now and we finally have some success with Nan HA 1 Gold. I have read around that some mums give their babies a dream feed, is it worth doing this for DS2? I plan to start him on solids in a couple of weeks and even then it will probably only be tasting and getting used to it for a couple of weeks or so. I'm going to start him on solids very slowly as he has a funny stomach.

At that age I probably wouldn't bother. Is he waking thru the night and how often? You might find solids make a difference, I did.
I did the dreamfeed with DD1 from 3 mths to 6 mths. I didn't do it with DS. I didn't have success with DD2 so I stopped early on.

I found giving a dreamfeed amazing with DD1. It stopped her waking during the night from about 3 months. I stopped the dreamfeed at about 8 months, once solids were firmly established and filling her up!
I didn't have such success with DD2. I would give her a dreamfeed and she would still wake. I stopped the dreamfeed and then just fed her when she woke. This seemed to work better for her.
I would still give the dreamfeed a try and see if it works for your baby!

I've heard many success stories with the dream feed to help bub sleep thru the night, but it didnt work for me. When I try giving DS a dream feed around 11pm he refuses to take the bottle and just continues to sleep. he will wake up later around 2am when he is hungry to take the bottle.
Having said that, this weel he still woke up at 2am but refused to take the bottle and was happy to have a nappy change then off to bed again, and miraculously last night he slept thru for the first time. He is 5mths 1wk by the way and started 1 solid feed since last wk so that might have contributed it.
You can always try offering the dream feed and see how bub takes it.
