Congratulations Caro!!!  What wonderful news!  I think you're mad, but in the nicest possible way tongue.gif   Poor Angus with double ear infections and chest too!  He and Alice make a good pair.

Leonie - I too feel much more anxious about things since having kids.  My particular irrational fear is gastro - I just don't deal well with spew, and the slightest sign of the kids being off-colour sends me into a panic.

Sam - It must be hard to feel so torn between work and sick kids.  And hard for your DH too, to not be able to comfort Sylvie in the way that you can.

Deanne - how is Alice today?

Lucia is still sick.  She seems ok for an hour or so, but then crashes again and just wants to sleep on my chest.  Toby's had enough of Lucia needing attention, so he's starting to muck up a bit too.  At least he doesn't seem to be getting sick though.  So I managed to make it through two weeks of work without taking a sick day.... I think I will end up staying home tomorrow, as I can't see my parents coping with her when she is so grizzly.

Quote from Toby "Mummy I think you need to get your hair cut tomorrow-day cause it is trying to grow too long".  Followed by "What are we going to do today Mummy?".... apparently "you and Lucia can play quietly with toys while I surf EB and check my email" doesn't cut it as an answer.....

I think I died and went to heaven today. Both my kids had a reasonable length sleep, perfectly coincided. OMG! As a result, Ella now has a nighty that won't fall off her shoulders. It would seem that I am improving at altering patterns to fit her. TT is going well too, she woke dry from her sleep, and has been out several times without accidents. Billy may not be able to walk yet, but he is getting all around the house very confidently on a little bikie!

To top off a good day, I am going shopping tonight on my own (myer one sale thingy). Only the bogandome, but still, how excited am I  cool.gif

Michelle - I hear you on dreading illness. I can handle poo much better than vomit, but still hate either... And the clinginess gets old very quickly. Touch wood, both mine haven't been sick for ages. I hope Lucia is feeling better in the morning.

Aw, Ella is looking at baby photo's of herself. Okay, I have to share more baby photo's of Ella.

And in other news ... Sam, it was me you were dreaming about...
I knew it! I just knew that Sam's dream would be about you! Congratulations! That is awesome news! wub.gif

Alice is much better today - thanks for asking. DH Certainly got to stay home with her on her "nice" day. laughing2.gif I am sure that she will be fine for Childcare tomorrow.

Gotta go bath Alice and get her to bed.

Take care,
Deanne.

Caro - Congratulations

Jo - Tuggers is a great shopping centre!

Leonie - I'm okay in the car and do lots of travelling.  I do stress about James a little though and imagine all sorts of things happening to him which I have never done before.  I might have to stop myself so it doesn't become a habit.  I think if it is affecting you too much you might have to do something, I'm not sure what, maybe being aware of it and trying to reason with yourself.

Shelly - good luck with your job interview.

Michelle - so Toby likes your hair short?  cute.

okay better go James is showing how smart he is by trying to plug the xbox controller into the xbox.

Caro, Congratulations!  That is fantastic news.

Had the early childhood nurse come yesterday and she was lovely.  Kendall has put on 180grams that brings her up to 3.05kg.  She is so tiny! Other than jaundice, there are no other issues at all (except for a weepy eye that appeared last night).  Can't wait for the yellow to disappear.

Not much else to report.  Ollie goes back to work on Monday and 4 weeks till we go camping.  I can't wait!!

Peta - Lalalalalalalala *fingers in ears* Lalalalalalalala  tongue.gif

Congratulations Caro!! original.gif

Jo] - I'm loving Ella's pics. She's beautiful. Yay on the TT too original.gif

AFM - LONG day today. Mums group, picking up photos, meeting a family daycarer, dive shop meeting! Felicity coped so well being in/out of car and socialising. DH has now signed up to go to Vanuatu for a dive next year. I asked him what do I get out of it and apparently Felicity's it! Bah, it's my 30th in Jan *cries* so I better get something decent!

Sigh... Alex has diarrhea. Some kind of gastro is going around again apparently...

It's not really bad, but bad enough. He's still feeling OK though it seems. Happy, jumping around, a bit more cuddly perhaps.

Oh no, not another bug! I hope Alex gets better soon and not get worst.

All quiet in here today...

Nic - I hope Alex isn't too bad and makes a quick recovery!!

Took Elena to the doctor this morning. Mainly to check her ears etc and also to look at a little red mark she has on her face. It appears to be a birth mark of sorts, though she was not born with it. It's a blood vessel. It has developed progressively over the past 4 - 6 weeks or so.

Nothing dangerous or life threatening but we have to keep an eye on it. If it continues to grow we'll have to see a paed and perhaps consider laser therapy to stop it's progress and remove it. If not now then later down the track in any case.

Nic - I hope it'll stop growing. Is it highly visible now? When Felicity was born the midwife thought she had a birthmark around her eyes but that went away.

LOL Lara! I promise to run any names past you before we decide on anything  biggrin.gif

Nic, hope Alex gets better soon and the birthmark stops growing  huh.gif

I interviewed people for 4 hours straight today wacko.gif what fun.  the rest of the panel kept looking at me weirdly as I snuck food into my mouth in between each applicant - the only way to quell morning sickness.  It will make sense to them when I eventually make my announcement at work  Tounge1.gif
