PARTY PLAN
Forum Guidelines

The purpose of this forum is to provide a place for support and discussion for those who engage in party-plan activities.

Can I promote my business in here?
No. Posts that promote your business (including links in signatures to business and competition sites as well as using business names for username) may not be posted here, or anywhere in the EB forums.

We cannot allow any businesses (including party-plan and small work-at-home ventures) to be promoted free in the forums.

Can I post ads if I am seeking work or if I have a job on offer?
Yes but in the Employment Opportunities or Seeking Employment section (subject to meeting post count and membership criteria).

What are the reasons for the above rules?
These rules are in place so we remain fair to other members, who have not been allowed to promote their businesses, and fair to paying advertisers.

Where should I post?
There are dedicated threads for most major party-plan businesses. These discussions are for consultants/managers to offer each other support and tips. These may include how to book more parties, upcoming promotions and ideas for presentations.

I want to get in touch with a consultant. How can I do this?
You may contact other members by the private message system. Alternatively, we encourage members to pursue the normal channels for contacting party-plan representatives – that is, by email or a phone call to the company. Sales inquiries may not be posted nor responded to on the boards.

Can I promote my special offers or upcoming events?
No. Posts that are considered obvious advertising will be removed at the discretion of moderators. Please refrain from practices such inserting images from catalogues or listing specials. This is advertising and is against the EB forum rules.

Can I mention my party-plan involvement in my signature or user name? (for example, "TupperwareMum")
No. In accordance with the forum rules, do not use links in posts or signatures to business or rival sites. You may not use your business name in your EB user name.

I am holding a party-plan event for charity. Can I post about it?
Yes, but you may only post in the Fundraising forum.

Any posts in breach of these guidelines will be deleted. The main Essential Baby forum rules can be found here.
