Rum balls question...

When making rum balls, what type of rum do you use? I always assumed Bundy would be the best option, but we don't really drink Bundy so it would go to waste. Bacardi however would definatley get used. So can I use Bacardi instead or would it not work out too well?
Also, the recipe I found states any type of alcohol could be subsituted for the rum... any one tried using Bailey's instead? Any good??

I used Tia Maria and have also used contreau so dont see why you cant substitute the rum for another spirit.

We don't really drink rum either, so for the rum balls I buy one of those mini bottles. They are usually behind the counter at any bottle shop.

my mum always used Bicardi and it was totally fine. When I make them I use Baileys or Choc Mint Baileys which is really yummy!

Yep I use Bundy Rum. I also just buy a mini bottle - you'll have to ask in the bottlO as they keep them locked up I paid $4 for one yesterday.
