Fee - I'm so so sorry . I've been where you are before too, so I hope it all goes smoothly today and that you are on the road to recovery soon
Tina - CONGRATULATIONS!!! I'll be wishing you a healthy pregnancy journey and a gorgeous little bundle of love in October
Yvette - sorry to hear that your depression is rearing its ugly head again, hopefully you can get it back under control soon
Mandy - I'm definitely keen for another meet . Ellie is starting daycare on Thursday and Friday at the end of this month, other than that we are totally free on any Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday if that suits you? Let me know what you think would work and then we can get in touch with the other Sydney girls either here or via FB
Me - not much to report today, just toddling along for now. DH is off o/s for work on Monday, he'll be gone for 2 weeks so I imagine things will be a bit manic for me while he is away!!! Then again, my big boys are becoming such wonderful helpers as they become more and more independent that it probably won't be anywhere near as stressful for me as it used to be. I can only hope anyway . Benny is still full of personality, we definitely have our occasional toddler moments but in general he is lots of fun and I'm loving having him around. He absolutely adores his little sister, which is gorgeous to see (and a huge relief too!), but then again she is such a sweet little thing that everyone adores her . And yes, I know I'm horribly biased but hey, that goes along with being Mum!!!
Best be off for now though, the 'sweet little thing' is going to wake up soon and I definitely need to get some lunch before that happens.
Take care everyone

Fee, I'm so sorry to read your news . I hope everything went okay today and that you have a lovely time away.
Beck, Love the new sig, you'll be able to put some clips/bows in Eloise's hair soon . My older two are great helpers as well, especially Annaliese. Sorry to hear about your PND coming back, but good that you have recognised the signs early. I ended up with PND with Luke but silly/stubborn me didn't do anything about it until he was nearly 4 , luckily this time it didn't show it's ugly head again.
Tina, Congratulations .
Yvette, Congratulations on the new car. Great news about hopefully finally having an agreement with your XH.
to Mandy and Laura .
AFM - all going well here. Lucky me got to help pick grapes Sunday night which was an all nighter. Started around 10.30pm and finished at around 5.30am. Then had to take the older 2 to school, even though I felt like I was hungover, lucky I got my second wind around lunchtime and didn't go to bed until nearly 10pm Monday night. We did some picking last Tuesday as well for a couple of hours and that is all the machine picking for this year, just some shiraz that needs handpicking. We haven't sold any of the grapes that the wineries wouldn't take. Not sure now about the block of land if we are going to sell it or not, I know DH still wants to buy a new tractor so I don't know what he's decided to do.
Emma is going well, typical 2 year old, although she has a worse temper than Luke (another reason why DH says no more - their tempers are getting worse each time ), can count to 10 (thanks to an older brother and sister teaching her), and knows most of her colours. TT is on hold for the time being, I would love for her to be TT'd already but it's not going to happen just yet I don't think. She finally has all 20 teeth now, cut the last 2 molars last week.
Any way, best be off, dishwasher to load , have a great weekend everyone

Doing alright here.. surgery went alright, still bleeding though, so hopefully that clears up soon. We had a great time at the coast, just what we needed, really.. got friends visiting at the moment, so have been busy with them, they leave tomorrow.
Ruby's had fun having a 5 year old to run around with.. he's taught her a few things that perhaps we'd rather he didn't, but I guess that's just what happens! I realised that the age difference between them is what we should have been having between the two babies, but now it will be even bigger.. hopefully it won't take too long to fall pregnant again.
Kylie, sounds like you've been busy with the harvesting! Do you think it'll be a big crop this year?
Beck, hope you're surviving being on your own! it sucks when DH's go away... I find it hard enough with 1, let alone four! mine went away on Tuesday, til this afternoon.. my mum was not impressed that he'd left me so soon after the m/c!
Yvette, that sucks about your car.. bit of a pain that they can't replace it with a van! Hope that all your agreements with your ex hold tight, and he doesn't change his mind again.
Well, that's about me.. not much else happening!
Posted 27 March 2010 - 08:46 AM
Just bumping us up... about to fall off the page!
We're doing good.. Ruby's TTing, and doing quite well.. wee's are pretty good, have yet to catch a poo though!
Still recovering from this damn d&c, bleeding still hasn't stopped.. ended up on AB's last week, due to lots of clots, but don't know whether it was actually an infection or not. Just wish it would hurry up and go away!
Gearing up for Easter here, not that we do a huge amount, but there's still chocolate to buy! My brother is coming across from Wagga for the weekend, so that'll be good.
Anyway, hope you're all doing well!

Oh bugga Fee, hope your body goes back to normal soon. After my first d&c i bled for 2 weeks, my Obs was just about to take me in for a 2nd d&c on the Monday but i stopped bleeding the saturday before... thank goodness. Then didnt get AF for 6 weeks... finally got it and then had a 60 day cycle ( and my cycles were always spot on 32 days before i had kids) then next cycle 45 days.... so bloody annoying when youre TTC, anyway the 3rd cycle i fell pregnant with Miles so no idea how long that cycle was gonna be, so yeah just hang in there - its just so frustrating! With my 2nd D&C cycle did go back to normal straight away after 10 days bleeding. Then 4 cycles later i was pg with Greta, although we werent actually TTC.
Good luck with TT. Think Miles is finally showing signs of being ready - but we move house in 2 weeks, then go to the UK in 12 weeks so im a little unsure whether to try or wait
All good here.. looking forward to our Sydney catch up
Miles is adorable, announced to me this morning when i got up that 'my sister is in bed asweep'
Going great at day care, goes every Tuesday now but is fighting to stay in the baby room, hates the pre-school room im told, bless him. Trouble is he hates change, so its more that really.
Greta is just wonderfull, such a happy girl, adores her big brother. Just started on solids and is loving it - which is great after Miles as he always seemed like he wasnt too fussed. Gave all her baby clothes away to a friend last week and prmised some other stuff as she grows out of it.. rocker, car capsule etc... so i guess we are sticking at 2
AFM, just recovering from a nasty virus, sick for a good week, on maxolon. I was worried it was my Mirena going hey wire but had bloods done and it was a virus.
Well we move in 2.5 weeks... then we are renovating for 4 weeks.. ripping out all bathrooms, wardrobes, knocking a couple walls down and re doing laundry and landscaping the garden... so staying in a hotel round the corner.
In-laws finally left on Thursday... it was great for the first 5 or 6 weeks but they were here for 12 weeks so i got so sick of them in the end.
Then we fly to the UK at the end of June for6 weeks in UK then Thailand with my parents for their 40th anniversary - phew worn out this year
Ok best go feed Greta

FEE - Sorry to hear your body is not going back to normal. I hope it works out sometime soon, and you can start to TTC again soon.
MANDY - Yeah on the move. Are you excited?
Hi to everyone else, hope you are all well.
AFU - We have had good and bad stuff happen. I will start with the good news.
At the end of this week, XH and I will have our Final Orders for the children and money matters finalised in court. We have come to an agreement, and although the money is not what I could have gotten (and not what my lawyer wanted), it was the children matters that I cared the most about, and I got what I felt was best for me and the children. I am so happy with everything. The money although as I said, is not what I could have gotten in court, it works out more, as I wont have lawyers fees to pay. It is going to help us pay out the debts we have, and we will still have enough left over to put towards a house deposit. YEAH. So hopefully by the end of the year we will be in a home of our own.
On the bad side, we have had a rough one. DSS#2 who lives with us full time fell off his scooter, and split his head right open. He got glued back up as it was a neat cut, but it was pretty deep. He is doing fine now, but it was horrible at the time. Delia then had a massive asthma attack and ended up in hospital for 2 nights. She had all last week off day care, as she was still on 4 hour ventolin, but is doing ok now. The hospital in our area was fantastic, and did more for me that the big childrens hospital have in relation to her asthma. And then there is me. I have had 3 bad pap smears come back, and my surgery to have my bladder repaired (to stop leaking), might be put on hold because of it. I am in the specialists office on Tuesday afternoon to have a coloscopy done, and they are fearing that it might be early on set cervical cancer. I am not too down about it just yet, although did freak out abit when they mentioned the C word to me. I am trying to be positive and hope that it isn't what they suspect. Hopefully results will prove them wrong. If the doctors are wrong, then I am booked in for surgery on the 19th April. I am having a TVT repair to my bladder. Basically in laymans terms, I am having an S bend put in my bladder valve, so that it stops me from leaking when I cough, laugh etc etc. It is an overnight stay in hospital and if I can wee then leave on the 2nd day. Although I am not looking forward to the surgery, I am looking forward to being able to have a life without wearing a pad all the time.
Well that is all from me girls. Wishing you all a happy easter.

Hey everyone - It's me.. MSG (Mel). I figured I had to change my username because MSG was my initials and now that I have a new lastname, it didn't really fit anymore.
Fee - I am so so sorry to hear about your news. I hope they abs have worked and am crossing my fingers that your body gets back to normal soon and that you will be able to TTC again. Sending baby dust your way
Ruby sounds like she is going really well with the toilet training. Zali has been TT'ed for about 6 months now for wees - day and night but she was still freqently having accidents with poos. It has only been the last week that she has finally 'gotten' it so I think it can sometimes take a while. We found that having a 'surprise' box helped - we just got stickers, little plastic farm animals and little pots of playdough and put them into a box and everytime she did a poo on the toilet she got to pick a treat out of the surprise box. She said rather excitingly yesterday 'I don't do poos in my undies anymore, I do them in the toilet!' It was the best thing ever to hear because I was getting a bit over washing dirty undies
Beck - thanks for the update on Sal. How adorable is Eloise!! I love her hair Benny sounds absolutely adorable as well. It is such a fun age now hey.
Sal - Congratulations on the birth of baby Patrick!! Hope you are all well!
Yvette - That is great news that you got the outcome you wanted with XH. Sorry to hear that you are going through a rough time with your pap smears, I hope that everything is ok and that it is just a scare. Good luck with your colcoscopy (and surgery if you get to have it done). It must be scary to hear them talk about the 'C' word - if it is serious, hopefully they have picked up on it early. I will be crossing my fingers for you! Ouch, poor DSS - sounds painful and poor little Delia having an asthma attack. That must have been so scary. Zali woke up wheezing and having trouble breathing one night and we thought it was an asthma attack but it turned out to be croup - was so scary though. Sounds like your family has well and truly been in the wars. Hope you are all on the mend and feeling well.
Mandy - how cute is Miles telling you his sister is asleep. Gosh, Greta is getting so big now!! Well done to her taking solids so well. Good luck with the move, I was reading about all the renos you're doing and was thinking 'you're crazy doing all that with 2 littles in the house' and then got to the part where you said you are staying at a hotel while it is being done and thought 'oh, ok, that sounds a lot less hectic I can totally understand where you are coming from with having the inlaws there for 12 weeks. We had my sister, her husband and their 2 kids staying with us since the beginning on November while their house was being built. They moved out on the weekend and as much as we loved having them here - and Zali is missing having her cousins around - it was great to get our house back to normal. 7 people in a 3 bedroom house was very squishy indeed.
AFM - Pretty much the same as usual - still at uni etc. Although as you can probably see from my sig, I'm expecting.
Ooh, gotta go, I'm supposed to meet my sister for lunch and just realised I'm running too late... spent a lot longer on here than I thought - so much to catch up on!!
Chat soon and stay well.

Yvette - Sorry to hear about your DSS and Delia! hope they are on the mend. hugs about the bad pap smears. I had CIN 2 for several pap smears and I had to have a colposcopy and laser treatment. Since then I have had all clear smears thank goodness. I hope its the same for you...
BEck - sorry to hear your cycles are mixed up. I hope you get to ttc again soon.. xx
Mandy - sorry to hear you have been sick. Very cute of miles....
AFM - suffering really bad with MS. Didnt have it with Holly so Im thinking its a boy! really tired too.. Not enjoying pregnancy!!! So glad this is my last! Dont think I could deal with this again!
Posted 30 March 2010 - 05:17 PM
Congratulations Mel! That's fantastic news! Glad to hear everything is going well with you.. I was only thinking of you the other day actually. Do you still see Sonya and Mel too? Been wondering what they're up to as well.

A quick hi from me, we move house tomorrow so alction stations here..worn out though - Miles has started waking at 5am every morning and is pretty much a nightmare all day cos he is so tired by abotu lunch time at the latest .. no idea whats got into him. Greta doesnt wake till about 7 - 7.30am so its not her waking him.
hi Kazzey, i remember you - think i may have been your buddy
Rachel: good luck TTC #3 hope its your much longed for little girl - little girls are lovely
We are done at 2 for sure, ive given away half of Greta's baby stuff and promised the rest as and when she grows out of it to a friend who is expecting a baby girl later this year - all Miles'baby stuff went to a friend before Greta was born so we are fast running out of baby stuff in this house although of course we still have the cot and stuff like that as she will be in it for a while yet.
oh so tired, no idea whats got into Miles and its not like he doesnt need the sleep he is in such an awfull mood by the time lunch time comes around cos he is so over tired - sick of it now i wish he'd go back to sleep

Is the Homebush Ambush still on this morning? I just don't want to drive all the way there with the three kiddies if no one will be there!
Posted 04 May 2010 - 06:51 PM
Been offline for abit. So much has happened.
DF left his job, got a new job, we had to move out of our house, moved closer to our 2 older children (my Step Children). XH came to town to see the kids, I had my operation, DS started a new school, and sister lost her job. Good news is that we are now in our new house, Sister got another job, my operation went well, and DS loves his new school.
XH trip went better than expected, and it is looking like we are all final with court. The orders are signed and sealed by the courts, and the money is on it's way. YEAH.
Hope everyone else is doing great.

Little Miss Matilda is doing fantastic. Her sperm donor comes down this weekend with his wife who is expecting around the same time as me. They are doing the touristy thing and may see Matilda if they have time.
My 15 year old niece has come to live with us. We currently live in a 2 bedroom place so lookign at moving hopefully even though our lease isnt up till 1/1/11. Landlord is pretty nice
I miss all you girls will have to pop in here more often!
Posted 20 May 2010 - 09:02 AM
Mel, ooooh! Tasmania! So are you in Hobart, or else where? I love Hobart.. really want to move back there one day.. unfortunately DH won't agree to go.. I just want to be near my family! Congrats on your pregnancy, hope the next 3 months go quickly for you!
Yvette, sounds like things have been a bit bumpy for you.. glad to hear it's all good now though!
Hi everyone else..
Not a huge amount going on here.. I appear to STILL be recovering from this damn m/c... I just want it all to be over and done with, and to be able to TTC again. I worked out yesterday that in the 11 weeks since my d&c, I've only had a week of non-bleeding.. I thought it was AF returning, but now I don't know.. thinking it might be time to go and see my GP.
Ruby's doing well.. she swore for the first time last week! And luckily, it was something that DH always says, so I could blame him for it! She hasn't done it since.. TTing is going well, only a couple of accidents a week now, so that's good. #1's are downpat, #2's are taking a bit longer, but not too bad. Most days she comes back from daycare accident free.
DH and Ruby are heading over to Perth in a week, for an extra long weekend for MIL's 60th.. not sure how she'll go without me, but hopefully she'll be alright. I'm looking forward to my Ruby-free weekend, but my Mum is coming up for the weekend, and we're driving across to Wagga to see my brother.. it'll be fun, but I was kind of looking forward to having a weekend on my own!
Anyway, that's about it! Hope you're all doing well!
Posted 20 May 2010 - 10:37 AM
Fee - Sorry to hear about your m/c huge hugs. I would be going to see the gp if the bleeding hasnt stopped.
I was down in Kettering and now in Sorell but moving back down south end of the year. Move back and come keep me company
And yey for Ruby free weekend!
TTing here is fun..... Matilda is good with number ones but number twos she either hides or she screams..
Dunno what to do? Any suggestions?
Oh and anybody weaned off the milk bottle of the night? Matilda still needs one to go to bed but we have been watering it down or even just giving her warm water but its just not working.
Posted 20 May 2010 - 01:39 PM
Mel, we got rid of the bottles over a year ago.. just after christmas, I think. Now, Ruby just goes to bed with a cp of milk. Sometimes she drinks, sometimes she doesn't. It just gets left on her bedside table. I know I probably should be concerned about the milk before bed and tooth rot thing, but I figure it's not in a bottle, so it's not pooling in her mouth. Maybe give it to her in a sippy cup to take to bed instead?
I'm from down Blackman's Bay way, so am familar with Kettering.. lovely part of the state! We used to go for family lunches at the pub down near the water... back when there used to just be this old, rickety swing out the back, for entertaining the kids! Haven't been down there for a while though.. think I heard they did it up? Peppermint Bay at Woodbridge is great though...
Posted 20 May 2010 - 05:13 PM
Our reception is going to be at Peppermint Bay
I am gonna try the sippy cup thanks for the idea!
This group is kinda quiet
I will be up in Sydney June 26th till the 4th of July if anyone is keen to meet up
Posted 09 June 2010 - 10:28 AM
MEL - We got rid of the bottles around 18 months ago, and the dummies about 9 months ago. It was hard work, but we got there. Delia will have a cup of milk here and there, but generally she just drinks water. We tried the sippy cups, but found them too hard to deal with, so just a normal cup here. She doesn't go to bed with anything either now.
TT - Well we are trying, and Delia will sit on the toilet and do a wee, if I prompt her, but she refuses to go on her own accord. I really want to get this done, and think I will just have to buy bulk undies and go for it. Pooing is the worst, as she just refuses to tell anyone what is happening till after it has happened. I thought girls were suppose to be easier than boys? hehehe
10 months till I get married to my DF. I am excited, but have lots to organise. Got my dress, got some bits and pieces, but not sure what else to get organised.
Well XH has now moved. He dumped his girlfriend, resigned from his job, and has now moved over to here. Rumour has it back where we used to live, that he was coming over to "Win me back". That isn't going to happen. I am looking at the positive side of it though, and the kids will get to know their father, and have some quality time with him, whilst also giving me and DF a chance to spend some time with just DSS#2, and ourselves. It is hard to deal with, but I am thinking of the children.
huge hugs to everyone else. Hope life is treating you all well.
