More baby news - YAY!!! Copied directly from Mel's post in her DIG:
Alira Dawn was born at 1:45am yesterday morning (30th September). She surprised us all by being a girl because we all thought I was having a boy this time and also by being quite small for a GD baby (2.74kg).
We are absolutely smitten with her and Zali is a very proud and protective big sister.
Congratulations Mel, DH and Zali, and welcome little Alira!!!

Hi girls, and congrats to all those with new editions to the family.
I just want to vent, and know that you girls might know some advice how to help.
Delia is just not wanting to TT. It is driving me, her father, and child care nuts. She loves wearing undies, but she just doesn't seem to care about getting to potty or toilet. We tried to toilet and found that she didn't really like it, and seemed to be doing better with a potty, so we all stocked up on a potty, but she just still seems to have no care. She will wee her pants, or poo them, and happily play in them all day long if she could. I am at my wits end.....Child care need her TT as they need to put her in the bigger room. Her father and i want her TT so as to eliminate nappies, which she is starting to get too big for.....I just dont know what to do.
I have tried bribing too. We did the pullups sticker thing...no luck. Tried to bribe with special tinkerbell undies....no luck. Even tried lollies, but that isn't working......I am just over it, and dont know what else to do.

Ummmm, a friend of mine had trouble with her son, and what she did was make him run around with no pants on, every time he had an accident. He didn't like that, so soon learnt that if he wanted his pants, he had to go to the toilet. Do you think Delia would be up for that? Otherwise, I have no idea! At daycare, the carers used the bribe of spending the aftenoon in the pre-school room, if Ruby had no accidents in the morning.. worked a treated, because she loves the pre-school room!
Well girls, I've got some news for you... I'm finally pregnant again! Took 7 months, but we got there.. so, almost 5 weeks now, and so far so good.. fingers crossed I don't miscarry again...
Anyway, catch ya later,

Oh Wow, i was just coming in to say a Merry Christmas too all and noticed Fee's earlier post - Congratulations, a bit late sorry! 2 months later actually!
We are going well. I start back at work on the 11th Jan im doing 3 days a week. My friend who is a nanny is looking after the kids - they are very excited as she has 2 girls the same age as Miles and Greta, so they're thrilled at spending time with their little friends.
Feel sorry for poor Miles - he is surrounded by girls! I don't have a single friend with a boy - all my friends have girls and we just made a lovely new friend down the street from us who has 2 girls ARGGGHHHHH!!! So im on the hunt for male friends for him at least he will be good to his girlfriends, growing up with a sister and all female friends he doesnt seem to mind anway.
Well i keep up with you all on FB anyway so no news really other than the work situation.
Have a great Christmas and New year everyone xx

OMG it's been so long since I've posted that I couldn't even remember what my log in was nor could I remember what 2007 group we were! I searched July at first!
Well, happy new year, congrats to all new bubs and ladies who are newly pregnant or expecting! Fantastic news.
Well, lots going on here. Jade is now 5.5 and started school this year. She's loving it and is in her element. Catches the bus every day and is just so independent.
Carmen is at preschool Mon/Wed/Fri and I'm loving the time she has there. She loves being there and is still our 'dynamic child' and giving me a fair bit of grief. But is relaxed and thriving at preschool. Sticker charts are a success, if I remember to use them.
Tilly is now 14 months and just a delight. She started walking last month and is just gorgeous. She's doing really well. She is sharing a room with Jade and all is going well. They are my good sleepers.
Can you believe I'm thinking of #4. Some sick part of me wants another baby.
I started doing my Bachelor of Arts via distance (CSU) which is going really well. I've decided I'd like to be a primary school teacher, and the only way to do it by distance is to do a BA first and then do to a B. Teaching (primary), which I'm hoping to do on-campus at UWS (or similar) I"m majoring in English, with minors in History, Environmental Studies (bio/eco etc), Sociology and one other, which I haven't chosen. My current subjects are Literature (Medieval-Mid-Seventeenth Century) and Communications (Essay/Reasoning/Writing) It's great. It is such a challenge, but I'm loving it. The last time I wrote an essay was for Yr 12 English HSC. I got 18/20 for my first online assessment. :-D yay.
This weekend DH is racing his car at Bathurst. We're heading up tomorrow. Pray for safety and a dry track :-)
Hope you are all well and would like to catch up soon, or at least hear from you all. - I probably should just do that via Facebook!!!

Gosh, looooong time....
Kat: wow number 4! DH keeps saying he wants to go for number 3 but it seems a bit scary to me i can't imagine 3 never mine 4!
good luck with it and let us know if you do decide to go for it
No news here... well its all on FB so i guess you know it all already.
DH got a new job, he starts 1st July... so yet more long hours from him im sure but he loves his work so can't complain.
Erm... i had a major homesick phase a couple weeks back, gave myself a good slap and got over that though - someone said to me, just think where you want your kids to grow up - wise words, i decided that was far more important than my little self indulgent homesickness dramas!
So all good now
Greta just turned 20 months old today and JUST started to walk today all that sleeping she did, she was too busy snoozing to get those little leg muscles working
Gosh she is such a joy.. she is so so adorable and so funny - DH says she can't be both pretty and funny, only one or the other is allowed
So many words and little sentences.. she speaks far better than Miles at this age.
Speaking of Miles - ADORES him, all i can hear is Miles miles throughout the house.
And of course, as i knew, he is an amazing big brother - so caring and gentle. Im one lucky mama
I gave up work, i went back in Jan this year.. it lasted 2 months, i missed the kids so so much... They went to a nanny and they actually loved it, but i hated it. I had MAJOR regrets about putting Miles into day care when i went back to work after he was born.. i said when i had Greta i didn't want to work, but DH talked me into it when she was 14 months old, but only lasted 8 weeks till i quit
Im now a SAHM officially, till Miles starts school in 2013 and Greta will start pre shcool that year too and i can then go back 2 days a week... but untill then i get to stay home with my babies full time
Miles started pre-shcool after the Easter break this year. He had just turned 3.5, so decided to send him to the local pre-school 5 mins from our house, a friends little girl goes and also our neighbours little boy who he plays with. I was nervous about sending him as he is very clingy and doesnt like to be parted from me but he really took to it. Its 9am - 3pm, so not too long, and he actually cries when i pick him up!
Will send him 2 days a week next year after he turns 4.5yrs... so glad he loves it
thats all folks.
Hope everyone is well

Well August is coming up fast and strong....our first little August children are about to turn 4. I can't believe it.
As you can see, I finally did it.....Craig and I got married in April 2011, and it was a fantastic day. So I am now officially on my 2nd marriage, but so far it hasnt been too bad....just normal everyday issues here and there that come with normal family life.
Bennett is doing well in year 2 and is excelling at reading, and maths. I can't believe he is 8 this year.
Connor man is 5 this year, and started Kindy this year. He is in 2 and half days a week, then onto pre-primary full time next year.
Delia....well my little girl is definately a character and a half. She starts Kindy for two and half days next year, and boy is she ready. What an attitude and i can't believe how strong she is in her mind. I suppose having 3 older brothers, she doesn't really have a choice...hehehe. We are slowly getting on top of her TT, although still have an occassional lazy day from her. We did get to the point of doctors to check for medical issues, but we just have to keep going with all the stickers etc to keep her encouraged.
Me - I have decided that I will probably be a SAHM for awhile yet. Child Care is too much, and unless I can get a school hours job (including holidays etc) it isn't worth it for me to work. I love being a mum, and have just started in with cooking classes. I tend to do alot more stuff at home now, rather than buy it, and the kids are loving it.
Well hope everyone is doing really well. Miss our little group.
