BFM - YEAH!!!!!!!!!! biggrin.gif  biggrin.gif  biggrin.gif  I totally get that you are feeling hesitant, but welcome and may your stay be long, and boring xxxx
harrylewis - I am so so so so so sorry you are feeling under the weather, it's such hard work to be ill, emotionally, mentally and of course physically. Take care of you xxx
Nikki noo - YOU GO GIRL! smoking your machine out, you must have gone nuts on your projects! I am a sewer, see my blog, very outed blog at that! I sewed breastpads, wipes and my business is cloth nappies, lots of cute cloth nappies. I found it really healing to be able to focus on creating with lots of love for our little baby to come home. I knew the sex of Jarrahson so that ade it easier. This time we are having a surprise so I am uncertain of where to start....BUT will have a blast sewing for bubba!
elly- I think at 28 weeks being out of your 'normal' clothes is acceptable LOL!!! biggrin.gif  biggrin.gif  biggrin.gif
rose - I was a terriblemess around Levi's weeks of gestation, go with the flow, and I agree with the girls this is a wonderful new experience for you from here on in.

AFM - a friend had a baby girl last night, her 3rd child, our children are roughly the same ages, so i layed awake so so so excited thinking, dreaming about when we bring this little one home....JUSTCAN"T WAIT!!
I am still getting waves of sickness, but no where near what I was thank god! My belly is getting bigger by the second....... I LOVE IT!!

szj ~ I'm absolutely in love with your blog wub.gif  You are very talented.  Took a couple of pages to wade through to get to see the breastpads though lol  Well done on all your sewing.  I agree that I think it's really helping me to be creating things in anticipation of this little one's arrival.  We found out Oliver was sick at the 20wk scan, and although I carried him to term, we had no preparation for his arrival, other than the medical side of it all... so I am really enjoying just swallowing up the baby craziness atm original.gif

harry-lewis ~ we've been told we're having a girl, so everything is a little pink here atm... bit hard not to be with a 6yr daughter already!

Tiarna ~ welcome back original.gif  hands.gif with you that this is a sticky one

afm ~ I'm officially in the 10 week countdown eexcite.gif (or 8 week countdown if we end up with an elective c/s... still got 3 weeks to decide!)

Hi ladies,

A quick post from me just to let you all know that I have been running around trying to get everything ready for this baby and being emotional over Michael all week only to come down with a tooth abcess which has made me really sick and  caused me to have some run of contractions, thankfully they have died off but I have dropped and I am just praying that I can keep cooking until 36 weeks hands.gif

Congrats boy4me -  good luck for a sticky one hhugs.gif

My condolences to Puss cat on your loss - take care of yourself. bbighug.gif

Rose09 -  hhugs.gif  I know how hard the 20 week mark is to get through well done and I hope you can start to enjoy some of this pregnancy.

Hi to everyone else, hopefully I can get back on here later in the week and there is no more dramas ddoh.gif

Take Care

suzanne ~ yikes!  I'm hoping and hands.gif that things start to slow down for you so you can enjoy these last few weeks before your little one arrives!  Take it easy ok hhugs.gif

swine flu vax ~ just a qn... I have been reading the recent threads in the Pregnancy forum about the vax... but I was wondering if you look at the swine vax differently because you have already lost a child, and whether or not this affects your personal decision to have the injection or not.  I think I am going to get the new season flu fax which includes the swine flu strain, but I am interested in hearing your thoughts on this too.

Nikki- I was trying to bury my head in the sand re SF vax, but now i've read the thread and will need to do some research. I have always been anti flu vax... but i have someone else to consider now. It hasn't been mentioned by my OB at all. I think i'll ask the specialist on Tuesday what she recommends.
I kind of feel like i'm safe as we live in the country and i can just not work and hibernate if need be. Argh... i don't know!!

B4M- Welcome back! Hope this one is 'the one'.

Suzanne- I hope those contractions hold off for another few weeks!! You're getting so close now!!!

szj- I love your blog too!! Where can i see the nappies you make? Are they in the blog? I thought i'd stalked the whole thing.

Mandy- have you had your NT scan yet? Did i miss that news??

afm- I'm finally starting to feel better from this darn cold. 2 more sleeps til my NT scan, and i am 50% excited and 50% sh*tting myself  bbaby.gif

Hope everyone is well  original.gif

Hi everyone, its been a while since i have been in here so hope you's dont mind me poping in every now and then original.gif

I had blood tests done and got the results back on friday and there is deffinately a baby growing original.gif which i had a good feeling this was a sticky as id been feeling a bit yuk and having EPS!!! I have an u/s this friday to see how many bubs there are etc, though im pretty sure there will only be one this time as the chance of me having ID twins again are pretty slim, as much as id love to have twins again i dont think i could handle it especially aftee the loss of my girls.

Ill be asking my obs or dr about sf vax or flu vax as im not 100% sure to get it or not. Has anyone had it or has been reccomended to have it done?

Congrats to boy4me!! hope this one is a sticky. I saw your post in the ttc section and commented there too.

Hope all is well with everyone, take care xx

hey ladies,

I was recommended to have the sf vax because im a type 1 diabetic who is suseptable(sp) to everything and anything annnd im pregnant so i just decided i would get it, i figured that if i didnt get it, it would be just my luck that i would catch swine flu and my bub would die.
but i know lots of people who are against it because of the lack of studies but i just had it for piece of mind. i figured that i had got whooping cough when i didnt think it was possible so it would be more then likely possible to get swine flu, and plus i got the normal flu vax aswell and i got what i thought would be a terrible cough and it healed up nicely, but poor DH is still suffering quiet badly. thats just my 2 cents about it, if it wasnt for losing kye with whooping cough i prob never would have got the sf vax.

chloe_hayley- yay for a growing little bean(s) so happy for you original.gif

afm- nothing going on here really, i know it sounds wrong but im just at the stage where i am utterly over not being able to get off the lounge without pain and i would really like to be able to walk without being in pain. just having my rant about being huge and pregnant original.gif

hope everyone is good original.gif

Elly ~ I hear you there with the wanting to feel normal and pain free again.  Although I did manage a 6 hour stretch last night without needing to go to the toilet biggrin.gif bonus wink.gif  I started feeling bad yesterday for wanting this pregnancy to be over, can't believe I still have 10wks etc...  but it didn't last long, because it will be all over before we know it, and I don't know if I will ever get to be pg again.  So I just rubbed my belly and sighed lol  I hope you have some pain free days ahead hhugs.gif  My gp recommended that both DH and I get the whooping cough vax when Bean is born.  Has your GP recommended that to you too?

chloe_hayley ~ great news with your bt results biggrin.gif  I bet you can't wait til your scan on Friday original.gif  Keep us posted

purple ~ one more sleep to go original.gif  Will be thinking of you tomorrow original.gif

Morning all

I had my NT scan last week and everything seems to be fine, I havent been notified of the results so no news is good news and I have a Ob appt on Saturday.  I had Mum looking after the kids while having the scan and my lovely DD said to Mum she reckons that her mummy was going to the hostipal to see if their is a baby in her tummy and will tel her when we got home (well now the kids do know about the kids and are very excited). Now roll on 6 months and lets see is DS gets a baby on his birthday (due 19/9 and his birthday is 21/9)

Congratulation Boy4me hopefully you will be holding a beautiful baby just before Christmas.

Swine flu - at my last appt my Ob rcommmended that I get it done so I will head to the drs today and make an appt and make one for DS since he need a referral to ENT specialist.

Hi to everyone else just realised the time and better start getting kids up ready for school.

Hi All!

BFM - Congratulations on your pregnancy! I have everything crossed that this little baby sticks.

mandycandy
- glad to hear that all went well at your scan

PM - Goodluck with your NT scan tomorrow!

Well i have my NT Scan tomorrow morning as well. I am really scared! As our DD Charlie had chromosomal problems and although i know the chances of this baby having the same thing are slim, i am so worried that there will be something else wrong.
Still getting the odd day of feeling yucky and i am still feeling really tired all the time. Starting to wonder when this pregnancy will actually feel real?!?!

Hi all,

Sorry been MIA, had a really bad week last week and wasn't up for talking to anyone.

Puss cat - So sorry for ur loss.

B4m - Praying this one is a sticky for u.

Ihope - Congrats on the great scan and glad there no sign of anencephaly, hope it all boring and plain sailing from here.

Mandy - Congrats on the scan and hope u get ur results soon and how sweet of ur DD.

mrs84 and PM - Good luck for ur scans tomorrow hope all goes well and u get a good look at bubs.

Nikki - Congrats on entering the 10wk wait or 8wks depending on ur choice.

Elly - U rant away, but it will soon be over and all this pain is forgotten the first time u get a cuddle with bubs.

Chloe_Hayley - Glad u got good results and things r going well.

Suzanne - Hope things start to calm down so u can relax and rest and build ur energy levels up for the new arrival.

Rose - Glad everything went well at ur scan and yay for 20wks, I'm 19wks on Thursday and that was when everything started to go wrong with Zachary so getting a bit upset etc and p*ssed off I have to wait until 21wks to have my anatomy scan ahhh the joys of living 5hrs away from the ultrasound place.

Ingrid - Sorry u not feeling the best, hope u start to feel better soon. Did u have a good time with ur parents and was Harry spoilt? I would love a surprise but DH is getting his way and we will be finding out again. As for morning sickness I only spewed in the middle of the night this time and just felt like it all day sooooooooooooo glad to be out of the first trimester (sorry).

Flu/Swine flu and whooping cough vacs - Been wondering the same thing as I know someone who lost her bubs to swine flu and was very lucky to survive and another who's DD contracted whooping cough when she was born and they had a hell of a time and the poor little thing has bad asthma now. I read in saturdays paper that apparently pregnant women are to get the flu shot for free this year because we are so at risk from swine flu. I guess i will check with my doc at the next appt and we will all get done. I have had flu every pregnancy and it sucks had it for a month with DD2 and ended up with the pneumonia bug in my throat soooooo lucky they caught it before it hit my lungs. The girls and DH get the vacs every year since then (DH is asthmatic). And although I now live in a town of only 6000 and spend alot of time at home DH is out and about meeting lots of people and he is usually the one who brings these things home.

Hi and hope everyone else is doing well sorry my brain is in overload at the mo so bad bad me for missing u.

Been a bit emotional as we coming up to 19wks when we found out about Zachary and him growing wings at 22wks (can't help drawing comparisions between the pregnacies) and some big problems with DH, which I hope are now sorted and he is back to being an active part of our family. He is really enjoying his new job and he is coming home and taking a better role in the kids lives, but I'm hating that he is away one night a week and some weeks it will be 2 (like last week). New town is ok not the best facilities but should be ok and we close to amazing beaches and Ningaloo Reef is only 2hrs away. Just need to get motivated and get out and meet some people.

Belly rubs to all

Hi ladies,

Just thought while I can will update and let you know that I have seen the doctor and I am measuring 8cm ahead which is a massive jump from two weeks ago. He could also feel quite a bit of fluid around the baby so I am off for a scan on Thursday to check size and fluid levels.
I am crapping myself about the scan and am not so worried about the size of the baby as I am about the fluid levels, I don't think I have anymore room left for anything else in there now, my poor body is stretched to the limit and there is a lot of downward pressure when I stand and move around cry1.gif

We are having internet troubles so if I don't get back on here again soon, good luck to everyone having scans and everything. wink.gif

Take Care
Suzanne

Hi Ladies

Thank you very much for welcoming me with open arms.

Sorry havent got time for personals but will attempt to later on!

Just got my BT results in for 10-11DPO and they are 67.5! Having BT every 48 hours for the next week to make sure levels are doubling as they should be.

Ob has put me on 100mg of Aspirin ( going up to 150mg in a week) and i start my plasma transfusions in 2 weeks. Very scared and emotional at the moment, i am really hoping and praying that this is a sticky baby. Looking forward to my dating scan, thats my first milestone to reach.

Have a great day ladies!

Hi!

Scan went well today bubs looks nice and healthy. Measuring a few days ahead and heart beat was nice and strong.
The sonographer seemed pretty happy with how things looked but i guess i will have to wait for my combined results.
I feel so relieved! I cried when we left the ultrasound clinic. I definately feel alot less stressed now that's for sure and i am actually starting to think im going to have a baby :-O

Hi girls..
Congratulations mrs84 on a great scan!! That's wonderful news.

My scan went really well too. We have one active baby in there! Everything looks perfect for now. They couldn't get a good look at the cord insertion yet, but enough of a look to say it appears to be in the right place and not off to the side. Will confirm that in 6 weeks.
Was so exciting, and i wasn't even nervous this time!! They were going to make us all our appointments for clinics etc up there, but then asked us what we want to happen. We said we hope to get the all clear next scan and then just be a normal pregnancy. They seemed really happy to go along with that and just keep an eye on us through our doctor down here. It was so nice to have that control back.

Suzanne- good luck with your scan on Thursday! Maybe the baby will be coming soon?!

chloe-hayley: congratulations on the BT results. Hope u can see the little bean on friday and possibly even its HB if your lucky.

B4Me: BT results sound promising. Higher than last time and I notice your ticker is still going so Im sure this time round all will be good!

Aimee: Not long till your scan now!! How many weeks are u now? Yes, I will never forget my fateful 19 week scan last year.

Nikki-noo: Yay on your little girl! Hope your okay with this result. Was kinda of hoping for a little boy for u after your lost but Im sure this little girl on the way will be a gorgeous delight!

Kristy: How are u?

Suzanne: Sounds like your baby might be coming earlier. I was looking very ripe and ready with lewis at 35 weeks. Sure enough at the end of 35 weeks my waters broke and we kept him in till almost 37 weeks or therabouts depenging on which dates we used.. but it was a struggle staying in hospital for awhile.

mrs84: glad your scan went well.

PM: yay to your scan going well too!

AFM: 8 weeks and a few days now. Having a scan tomorrow at the OB's. Still get m/s but not as bad as I thought it would be at this stage but still havent hit the peak at 10 weeks...etc.. fingers crossed its manageable.

hi all..

just a quick congratulations to mrs84 & PM on ur great scan results! and welcome back to boy4me, i really hope u hang around this time and time til ur scan goes quick.

i'm so sorry have been so slack and continue to be slack with personals - i feel so bad  sad.gif

at the moment though i'm just not coping with it all & am extremely depressed, despite everything 'seeming' fine. still taking my anti-depressants & going to counselling but GP wants me back to the pysch for another visit  sad.gif anyway... just wanted to explain my absence - it's truly not that i don't care, i'm just exhausted & depressed. holidays are soon, might pick up a little then.

hope all continues well in the meantime for everyone..always thinking of you all.

Hello Beautiful Angel Mums,

Ihope  - Yay u are into the 2nd trimester, i'll get excited for u and hope it rubs off. My hormones are going wild at the moment and one day I'm ona high loving life the next day I'm a blubbering mess wondering if it ever ends, there are factors with DH which aren't helping and being in a new town not knowing a single person doesn't help. My poor friend from our last town caught me on fb the other day for a quick chat and an hr later I was still off loading on her! I hope u get to see the light at the end of the tunnel soon, but maybe it may take until ur anatomy scan or passing Hannah's gestation for u to feel some joy from this pregnancy. It is so very hard to seperate the pregnancies and feel joy, but it will come. I hope u get to spoil urself over the holidays and just take some well deserved u time. U have had so much to deal with in such a short period of time and I know Hannahs passing wasn't easy both mentally and physically on u. Don't be hard on urself, some wounds just take yrs to heal. We are always here to listen and offer support.

B4M - Yay got everything crossed for u that this one is here to stay and things run smoothly from here on in.

Suzanne - Hope all is ok with u and bubs isn't on for an early arrival.

Mrs84 and PM - Yay on great scans and PM so glad u can stay with ur doc and don't have to make frequent visits to King Eddy. The whole travelling thing is stressing me out at the mo, living 5hrs away from ur ob, delivery hosp and u/s is a right royal pain!

Nikki - I'm biased and a house of pink is great, i think that is why I have my heart set on a girl this time although in yrs to come a house of teenage hormones doesn't sound so appealing.

Ingrid - Hope all goes well with the ob appt and scan, do u have a nice ob? I can't believe u r 8 weeks already, but I'm sure it is dragging for u, with m/s and all. I was a middle of the night spewer this time as well and just had to suffer the constant nausea all day. Saying that though I'm still getting the odd bouts and if ever my appetite would reappear, I guess its a good job I'm carrying a little extra supplies! I'm 19weeks tomorrow (found out with Z at 19+3, so sunday maybe emotional). Got another 2 weeks until my scan as the logistics of fitting in all the appts and getting the best sonographer kept pushing it back, so the thursday after easter we are treking down to Gero and thankfully DH is coming too.

Hi to the rest hope u r all ok and everything is smooth sailing

Right I better go, but just to say bubs is kicking up a storm at the mo which is nice to feel.

Aimee
