Both of my children ahve ahd their hands and feet done. I wan't organised enough with DS so his weren't done till he was 10 weeks old. Could have done it much sooner than that with DD but wanting to keep the same age for comparrisons I didn't.

I'm not sure where you are however if you go to impressionable kids they have a list of all the places and services they provide. It is one thing I have never regretted doing...except maybe having them done before 10 weeks original.gif

I have had all of our kids done through a company called Twinkletoes, we go to their Highbury office, but look in the white pages as there are other studios around Adelaide.  In fact we went and got our newest arrival done this morning.

Have been happy with all of them and it is such a wonderful thing to have to remember how tiny they actually were!

We've also gone to Twinkletoes and used the studio near Westfield Marion.  I've had it done for all 3 kids and they are all still hanging in the bedrooms.  We had both hands and feet done as well as a photo.  Get it done asap after the birth as they grow so quickly.  There may be a wait when you book to when you can get an appt as he works between all his studios.

Have you tried Happy Castings? I haven't had them done (would have if I knew more about them when my boys were babies) but I saw Hayley's work on the weekend (had a business meeting with her) and her work is stunning and would highly recommend her!

You can see her site here: Happy Castings

Another one for Twinke Toes. We did one at Highbury and one at Salisbury at 10 and 6 days old respectively. We did the one with two hands and two feet. At the same time we ordered extra frames and got when we ordered their official birth certificates we also ordered the cute ones. We got a pink bunny and blue bunny and got the backgrounds of the hands and feet to match. All four (two hands/feet and two birth certificates hang on the wall together and look great)

I had mine done the other day by Happy Castings, now I am just waiting for the photo to send to her to put in my little girls frame. Hayley was really nice and she came to my house in Murray Bridge which was great as I had only had Kenzi 10 days before by c sect and I was not allowed to drive. She was very patient with us and would recommend her to anyone and the other frames that we saw were beautiful. 10 /10 and good prices too, we had  both her hands and feet with a photo and I think I will be $190 with it delivered original.gif .

I had both DS 1 and 2 done at 4 weeks old by a lovely lady whose name escapes me!  The company was called Angelic Moments in Para Hills I think. She did a fantastic job and from memory was exactly half the price of twinkle toes, for exactly the same thing.  I actually had the boys first dummy and cord clamp done in the frame with the hand and feet sculpture with a photo taken the day of the castings.  They both have a little plaque with their names and the details of their birth (weight, time etc) and how old they were when the cast was taken.   It looks fantastic and they are on display in our lounge room.  Get heaps of comments on them.
