Ewww, hopefully he was just having a leak, though his behaviour does sound quite odd.T
Oh no, not again!!
Poor little man.Karina
Oh bummer about your friends breakup, hope it doesn't make the holiday awkward.
Is there anything that boy isn't miles ahead at? lol!
The little bugger STILL wont bloody sleep!!! I think at the moment I'd trade in any of the things he's advanced at for a few decent nights sleep! It's all over the place, one night he'll sleep through, the next he'll wake us up 5-6 times, average is 1-3 times a night. Argh sorry for the ramble, I'm just so so so over it, given I didn't sleep well through either pregnancy and Tien wasn't sleeping well before I fell pregnant with Kai, it's been around 9years since I consistently slept well \end rant
Great Toby went so well at care! Not so good that his asthma is playing up again.
Hmmm, I'll see if I can upload these pics now - Hope it's ok, I have a few, couldn't pick just one

Hmm, guess I'll go first - you're all taking too long
Kai drew this a few days ago, one morning while I was asleep (I guess), I just found it on the desk next to our bed and even though it's quite random, I really like it - Or am I just nuts, can anyone else see the abstract face in this image?
and here's some links to some others (as I don't know what the rules are as to how many images we can add).A person on rollerskates An underwater scene - with some scary fish!A robot

OMG Kay, though the best thing to do to a flasher is laugh at them about how small they are!
Does your back gate have a lock on it?
as for teeth Zahli only wants a wobbly tooth because she gets money!
drawings, I will try and remember to scan the next one she does
I am pretty sure our friends will still be nice to each other, I don't think it's a nasty split it's just a not in love any more split. anyway I will just be on the hammock reading Breaking Dawn.
I saw Eclipse today with Paris, it was alot better than the second movie.
Today has been a loooong day, movies then lunch then back home, alannah to the chiro then to the park for a ride then netball training then drop another child home then hot chips for dinner now bed

Oh so you had a good look then did you Kay? Hehehe!
Did you check your emails? Am missing some stuff.
Belle - that is awesome - I can see the letters as well as the face. Clever kid.

Just sent it T. Couldn't help but see - it was out there and pointed in my direction LOL. SIL and I reckon we could identify him in a pants down line up any day, the image is burned into our retinas LOL.Belle
- Those drawings are awesome
I love the robot one the best!! Wow, you are going to lyao when you see Nate's.
Posted 14 July 2010 - 11:29 PM
I love that last drawing, Belle!
This is an old one of Hannah's, but I like it. I'll add something else once the scanner is hooked up.http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=4170...mp;id=563076946
Don't ask me what is happening between the creatures legs - maybe she has had a run in with your mate, Kay? lol. (Actually, I think it is just a mistake she has scribbled out).

Great picture Sharon LOL.
Ok this is Nate's effort - took a lot of persuasion and coaching. "I can't draw people". I basically had to draw one for him to copy.Man
This is what he usually draws:Train
This one is a train but it could just as easily be a train, car etc. He also draws a lot of 'mazes' which generally have complicated stories about some game or race attached.
Posted 15 July 2010 - 07:33 AM
Hey -Nate's man is excellent Kay!! L couldn't draw anything like that.
Hahaha at 'burned on retina'!
Sharon - that is one scary monster lol.
Posted 15 July 2010 - 08:31 AM
Are you kidding LOL?? Actually it isn't bad, but as I said, he copied mine.
Posted 15 July 2010 - 09:07 AM
I can't see them, Kay. (although I am on my phone - I will try from the computer after).
Posted 15 July 2010 - 10:04 AM
Sharon Love Hannahs scary face!
Kay Nates little man is great! We do spend a lot of time drawing with Kai - because he loves it. But one of his favourite drawing things to do with us is for us to draw a picture bit by bit and he does exactly what we do. After stepping through it with us once he usually then goes on to draw many many more versions of the same thing.
Posted 15 July 2010 - 02:15 PM
That's a great idea Belle, I might try that.
Nate is so reluctant to draw but I think he'd enjoy that.
Update on flasher man LOL! I drove past the house today and there was no car or van outside so I figured no work going on at the moment. I walked past the back of their house to see the neighbour on the other side to ask for a number of the owner. On the way past I noticed that their pool gate was propped open. And the fence into the park was demolished months ago. So essentially the pool is wide open to the park!
I spoke to the neighbour and told her about yesterday. She is the daughter, her parents are away so she didn't have any contact details but she was grateful for the heads up. I decided to go and shut the gate myself. So I ducked into their garden and then realised penis man was working inside the house.
I quickly shut the gate and ran out of the yard LOL. Anyway I have now reported it to the council. I also think the pool gate is not working properly (although wasn't going to hang around and test it in the circumstances) and in any event the pool fence is too low in places so they are going to have another problem on their hands there. I can get their contact details but have to go to council and fill in a stat dec. I think I will just write to them and hope they have their mail redirected.
And so my exciting suburban existence continues

Geez-louise Kay! *I am speechless* What if one of the kids looked through the gate and not you?? Ewww. Report the sicko. He is lurking near a kids park with his willy out- at best he is taking a leak in public view when he is clearly working in a house which ought to have a loo...? Filthy feral person. REPORT HIM!
KELLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hello hon! You sound like you have finally found some peace in life and I am happy for you. Thanks for popping in, I often wonder about how you are getting on also.
T- Charlotte is 122cm and 27.5kgs. Tall and solid.
Karina- Sad for your friends really- esp knowing this will be the last family holiday etc. I hope it doesnt lower the overall mood of your holiday. Enjoy your hammock lazing. I envy you there!!
Kirsten- Glad you got to have a little break in darling harbour with the girls and got to catch up with Karen. Lovely.
Lynny- you are far too organised and "together" for someone with a newborn!
Give me some of your energy woman! hehehe
Belle- Maybe Kais' sleep disturbance is due to his intellegent mind. He may have trouble relaxing and clearing his thoughts?
Drawings- hmmm not much of a drawer here. Ill get her to draw someone and scan it.
Teeth- no wobbly ones for C as yet. Not depite her wanting one! Zara just lost her 10th tooth a few days ago because she accidently levered it up with a fork while eating stir fry! Woops! As it turns out, the second tooth was already partially emerged, so it was a matter of time before it would have come out anyway. Lucky it happened when the tooth fairy actually had a fiver on her. Usually the she has a zero balance on hand at any given time.

I do know what you mean and I thought about it hard. Problem is I am here in the afternoon alone with the kids - he'd know for sure it was me that reported it. Secondly, nothing we saw would be enough for the cops to actually do anything apart from speak to him. Where he was (where our back gate it) is in the very corner of the park, as far away from the play equipment as possible (about 200 metres at least) so its actually the place you would go if you needed to pee in the park (for some reason). I think he'd just say "I was making a phone call outside, I needed to pee and I didn't realise anyone could see me. That may even possibly be true.
I have a feeling not though. Anyway I went out there this afternoon because my niece lost her beanie and I was looking for it and the stupid sh*t has propped the pool gate open again. I am so mad!! What a flippin' idiot!!
He's also closed the curtains so I can't see if anyone's working in there. Its all very strange. There's no car or van out the front still and yet he's working in there
I am going to put a note in their letterbox tonight and hope they owners come over over the weekend.

Karina - was it you whose child was having a lot of uritcaria??
We are having such a problem with L - I'm so worried. Already been to the hospital once this week (asthma 40 degree temp URTI etc) and now might need to go back. Could be a reaction to penicillin, but the doctor didn't think so. But now's he's really bad again - and was wheezing with it this arvo - and I'm scared to give him his dose of anti-bs. Have to see an allergy specialist, and have a script for epi-pen but didn't get it filled today ($115 - but only $5 if we wait to see the specialist).
Posted 15 July 2010 - 08:01 PM
Oh gosh T, how awful. I'm so sorry to hear that.
My mum is allergic to penicillin.
I hope he turns the corner soon.
I forgot to say Belle - I don't know how you are surviving on broken sleep after all these years. Does Kai say why he is waking up? Nightmares? Nate goes through phases of having nightmares but generally he sleeps well, thank goodness.

We rang the health line and they said to give the anti-bs. But I hesitate to, as the gp said well - is he still having anti-bs (and the first rash was faded at that point), and I said yes. ANd he said unlikely for it to go away then. But he had today's second dose only two hours before seeing doc.... :-/ But he's also on pred, flix, etc.
First one is around 1.30 today
Second is now.

It is actually worse than these pics - much reddder - and raised.
Posted 15 July 2010 - 08:38 PM
Poor kid, T! Does it bother him?
Posted 15 July 2010 - 08:43 PM
Yes it's very itchy. He's had it three or four times during illness before - but I don't remember it being so itchy then. And I can't remember if one of the times he had it before - he was amoxycillin. He's certainly had without being on anti-bs and we've been thinking it is some kind of immune response. We've put him to bed without the anti-bs. Just too scared in case of anaphylaxis.
Posted 15 July 2010 - 08:49 PM
T yes it was me, Alannah has it, but hers is with the cold.
Have you given him any anti histamines? if not do that asap, and they can have a few doeses through the 24 hours. (so Alannahs allergist said, but remember I am not a dr)
Posted 15 July 2010 - 08:58 PM
Thanks Karina. Yes he had claratyne at one and has polaramine an hour or so ago (rang the health line to check if he can have one with the other)... It's such a worry not knowing why it's happening. Poor kid.
