Happy Birthday Mr O

Not much from us. Everyone in the house has conjunctivitis and snot and a hacking cough, Aidan included which is just heartbreaking. Poor little man is so congested and his little eyes are glued shut. Going to the doctor today.

Nat - it was so good seeing you on Sunday. The girls looked like they had a great time. I hope the drive home was uneventful for you. Cant wait for our next catch up.

Bec - the party went well. Nadia was all snotty and sticky eyed so not really in the party mood but still had a good time. We gave her the rest of her presents yesterday.

Might BBL. Mums last day here before she flies home so I plan to take advantage of Nan's babysitting today to either get some rest or some shopping... or perhaps a bit of both.

Happy Birthday Mr O

I can't beleive our little people are having there second birthday.

Funny story.  Olly has been watching Will do wees in the toilet and last night decided to do them too, however Olly is WAY to short so he would lean against the toilet bowl and pee on the floor - he would then shout "wees in toilet" - so very cute, though messy

Sharna - Thanx for having us. The girls had a fabulous time...especially Bella. Was nice to meet u in your home ground. Hope u all get better soon. We've got sore throats here. U can't win.

Made an app for CR to see another Dr for her feet. Its Thursday. Keen to get another opinion. I'm so over it & I just want it gone. I don't care if its some wrechard skin condition I just want a diagnosis. So here's hoping.

Mands - Not sure if u saw my other post a few days back but I was asking about that book u got on surfactants. Was it the book from Aussiesoap supples??? Bubbles & Toil??? I want to be able to understand awhole lot of terms & what they r good for.

Hiya all. Hope everyone has a good day.

Hey Bec, I don't know if you remember Aimee from our DIG - she had little Dustin still born at 20 weeks - she had her baby girl yesterday and she is very healthy.

Nat- Is CR's feet still itchy? So it wasn't the Bali thing?

Mands- how cute is Olly with the peeing thing.  original.gif  Olly might TT quickly with such a good role model, sometimes the younger one can spur the older one on too. I vaguely remember when my eldest was TT he aways insisted on peeing on the potty/ sitting on the TT seat. Took me ages to convince him to do it standing up.

I wonder how Annika is going. I don't think Bryce would be 2 yet.

Hi guys, just a quick one from me before I race off to work.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ALL THE KIDLETS!!!!!!

Things are good here with the in-laws.  It's exhausting though.  Mark has been working so I have been trying to entertain them and work at the same time.  And I feel like I am always cleaning up with 4 people in the house!  We are off to the coast for a week next week though, so that will be nice.  Hopefully it doesn't rain too much.

I forgot to mention too - we are having a bit of a BBQ on Saturday for Tom's 2nd birthday.  It's not a kids party perse, but more just a get together for everyone.  You are all more than welcome!  It starts at midday.  No need to bring anything, just yourselves and kiddies.  I know it is late notice.

Nat - no good that CR's feet still aren't right.  You can't even see a specialist when you don't even know what the problem is - do they "look" different - red spots or anything like that?  Or is she just still scratching at them.  I really hope you find some answers soon.

Sorry for the short post - but I have to run.  Chat to you all soon.

Mel - So frustrating with her feet. It was after Sharna had a look at them that prompted me to keep pushing for a diagnosis. They're progreesively getting worse.
I know what it feels like to clean up after a few people I can tell u..... it sends me nutty.
Thanks for the invite to Toms party. I'll have a look at what everyone here has on.

Still a house with the plague here... not fun anymore.

Not much to add. Kids crying and snotty.

Just had to bump us back up as no-one had said anything for a few days. Hope you are all ok.

Mel - we won't be able to make it on the weekend because we have a 1st birthday party to go to at The Gap. Hope you have a great day :-)

hi to everyone else, we are busy at the moment :-(

had ethan's speech assessment yesterday and we are starting a language improvement playgroup next week. Ethan's expressive language is a bit behind but nothing too major.

Happy Birthday Tom

I am here.  One week today until I go for my NT scan and see baby, and I can't beleive but DH is going with me.  I asked him just as a courtesy thinking he would say no (he didn't go to any of Olly's but he was away) and he said sure.  He is really taking this 3rd baby very well and has given me permission to buy a capsule as the other car seat is getting a bit long in the ear (though it would still be safe).

Bec We posted at the same time LOL.  That was quick getting Ethan into speech work.  It took us 12 months for a speech pathologist to look at him after his assessment.  He is going once a fortnight now.

Mands - yeah I am not sure what will happen after the 6 weeks of speech playgroup, will see what happens. That is so good about DH being so supportive of the baby :-), oh the scan will be so exciting. I miss the pregnancy, scans etc etc. I know no more kids for us so I will not get to experience it again. Are you finding out the sex of the bub?

Happy Birthday Tom

Bec - good news on Ethan getting some therapy soon. I think early intervention makes a big difference. I bet in 12 months time Ethan will be caught up to his peers.

Mands - ohhhhh scan time. How exciting. So glad your DH is being involved with this pregnancy.

Not much else here. We went to a play centre today and the kids had a great time. Both are sleeping at the moment.

Hi Nat, Ros, Georgia, Kathryn, Mel.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOM!!!

Hi Girls.

Sharna - oh no good still being sick. Paul & Bella are all snotty & sore throats. Went to the Dr yesterday for CR. Ur diagnosis was right  wink.gif  wink.gif with eczema on top making it hard to get a good diagnosis. Once dose cream (permithrine or something) & onto cortisone for awhile till it all heals up. Thanx for help with that.

Bec - wow that was quick. Hopefully that will help him & you'll see good improvement.

Mands - owwww.... how exciting for u with a baby on the way. It'll be nice to see your precious baby.

Pauls got manflu..... far out u should hear him whine every 5 minutes. Bit over it. I feel sorry for him but geeeezzz.

Mel - hows it going with the IL's?? All ready for your party tomorrow. I can't make it with sick peeps here but it would b good if we all could catch up before xmas.

Weekend tomorrow....yay!!

Nat - wow! What did the Doc say when you suggested what I thought it was? I cant believe it wasnt something they considered before that. I am so glad I said something then. I almost kept my opinion to myself as it isnt nice to talk about rashes/itches... haha, i am a bit to polite for my own good at times. That is great news for CR though as it is so easily treatable. She will be back to her normal self in no time original.gif Is ecxema something that CR already had?

Pre-christmas catch up - I'm in! Would be nice to organise something amongst us all. Perhaps a brunch/lunch?

Mel - we wont be able to come to T's birthday either... Aidan still with a gunky eye and I look and feel like I have the plague. I wouldnt wish it on my worst enemy.

AFU - we booked Dan a flight home for Christmas today... 3 weeks all up sad.gif I am ambiguous about how I feel. He really misses the christmas season. Snow, the traditions, family etc. I know we will have many more Christmases together as a family but it is still hard knowing he is away for Aidan's first christmas. The upside is that being so close to Matt and Kristi will be extra special. Also I think mum and dad will be down over the holiday period also.

I have booked Nadia and her cousin Aston into Kindy soccer tomorrow. Soooooooooooooo exciting! They take kids from 18mths up. www.littlekickers.com.au I spent so long chatting to the franchise owner that I have gotten her to send me the franchise details! Might be something we would be interested in doing.

Dinner being cooked by Dan, kids in bed (although Aidan will wake for a top-up soon enough) and a glass of white waiting for me.

Sharna
