how to get rid of water smells

the downstairs level of our house got a fair bit of water and stinks like a dead possum.
what can help get rid of the smell,the waters been cleaned up,carpet gone and mopped floors etc

we got tons of runoff from neighbours yards and pools,some im pretty sure there may have been dog poo etc amongst the water,

its mainley concrete floors as it was storage,rumpus and laundry  and bar area.

you need a gernie
and then a few thousand bottle of pineOclean through the gernie system and then as many big fans as you can put on ( if you have electricity- if you dont you need a generator)

house we cleared out at fairfield smells fine now... the yard on the other had... not so fresh

Hope it is not still smelling.

I wanted to mention clove oil (1/2 tsp per litre of water) to wipe down surface or spray around.  It helps prevent mildew and also smells quite Christmassy.

If it does still smell like a dead possum - it might be worth checking around in case there is one  sad.gif   Our neighbours found some wildlife casualties.  sad.gif
