Ok,

Heres hoping that this works - it's my first time posting a photo.  This is my first feed with my daughter about 48 hours after she was born.  I had complications post c/s and was in ICU & received medication that isn't safe for new borns, so the midwives hand expressed & bumped to get my supply in.

Such gorgeous photos. If this has worked, you can see DS about 4 months old having a (very happy) feed.

Sparassidae that photo of you tandem feeding is so beautiful! I wanted to tandem feed my two but DS weaned himself at 15 months, when I was 3 months pregnant. DD self weaned from my right boob at 6 months and from both boobs at 10 months - I was so sad when she stopped.

My DH may end up killing me for starting this thread... because looking at all these gorgeous babies feeding is sending my ovaries into overdrive and I am getting very clucky!!!

Do you want the thread to be pinned, or would that be too much exposure (pardon the pun)!

Oh I would love that, as long as no-one minds.

some beautiful photo's! I have one of me feeding DD on the day after she was born, but I look like crap with my b00bs hanging out so I am not posting that one.

I have one from when she was about 9 months old, but I can't work out how to post it.

(any suggestions for a luddite?) tks xx

Such beautiful photos. The tandem feeding one was particularly special - made me feel all gushy!

Here's DS at 1 day old:

I had an article printed in a parenting magazine and they picked this as one of the photos to include. I thought it was wonderful that they included a breastfeeding photo original.gif

And another of him asleep at around 4 months:

I wanted to get a sleeping one with his hand against my chest particularly, to try to remember that lovely feeling of your baby falling asleep because he's so warm, full and content in your arms  wub.gif

I wish I had some more recent ones, but DS grabs the camera if it comes anywhere near him - and comes off the breast immediately if someone else is in the room

Edited to fix layout

I love looking at breastfeeding photos.

Here are a couple of DD when she was a few days old, showcasing my absolutely huge breasts. I had major engorgement/oversupply issues in the beginning - but she managed to cope, despite my boob being many times larger than her head!

What a lovely thread.

Here are a few pics of Ryan, will find some of Jai.

I too just realised i only have baby pics of them BF. Ryan fed until 18mths and Jai self weaned two weeks ago, exactly one week before his 2nd birthday.

I won't leave this up for long, because I don't post pics of my kids on the net.  But here is my tandem feeding shot.  DS was a week old here and we had to go to hospital because he came down with a virus, we thought we were going to lose him sad.gif  We were spending nights away from DD, so it was nice to be able to feed her.

Gone original.gif

These are (some of) my favourites - my elder girls were pre-digital so none on the pc but here are my twins. I took many photos of our breastfeeding journey.

First tandem feed at home, 35+4w equivalent:

Probably my most favourite:

I have others as they got older but last time one of these threads was posted people were upset by the stretch factor, so I won't post again. We fed until 20 months. wub.gif
