I would have liked to remove the one negative post in this lovely thread celebrating the mighty mammary gland but you guys kept quoting it over and over again lol and now it is woven into the fabric of the thread!
LisaMaree, I missed your pic sad.gif .
Btw, udders don't give me the shudders, I like them too.

I am feeling so incredibly sad that I will never feed a tiny baby again. And thinking that I may just let my 2yo wean himself no matter how old he is.

This was me feeding my youngest son in my own bed about 5 minutes after he was born, with the proud Daddy who 'caught' him, looking on.

Close-up

Here I am feeding my middle son when he was 2.5yo.

Ella - we BF'd until 8.5 months, only stopping due to a dairy free diet, and me not coping. She went better on prescription formula, otherwise I'm sure we would still be going.

And I can't find Jade's ones on photobucket.. But pretty similiar!

Can't wait until I have this baby.. We are aiming for 12 months + biggrin.gif

Loving this thread! You all inspired me to take one this morning, but I don't think I'm brave enough to post.

Not strictly a breastfeeding photo but it is minutes after one of our first feeds in hospital.

I love that he seems to be saying "they are mine, ALL MINE!"  original.gif

These are absolutely adorable.

As much as I am a tad scared of the whole BFing thing as I havent had any kids so it will be all so very very new and scary for me now that I have one on the way, I do find photos of babies bfing magical!!

Thank you for sharing.  And here's to me overcoming my bfing fear in good time!!  wink.gif

These are really lovely photos everyone.

I have a lot of BFing pics, babies and toddlers, but I think these are my favourite.  My youngest son, minutes after he was born.

Riot - I will if you will! tongue.gif
I think I have a bf pic somewhere... I will have to get Dh to take one tonight.  This thread is lovely and I really thought with going into police training in July would be the end of our breastfeeding relationship (due to days at academy without her feeding, I can't express etc)  but you know what? This has inspired me to keep feeding whenever I can.
Such beautiful pics - best EB thread ever.
ETA: 5sunny5- you look so glamorous!
