There was a thread on this just recently, OP. Maybe do a search and see if you can find it, as it loads of really good suggestions!
Hey - just found it for you: Best doco link
I did find that thread, thanks for that. I have marked a couple of promising sounding ones to grab
luckiestmum - Oooh, that is a very good series, I would have loved to have seen it Aussie style so to speak, I found it a little hard to appreciate the context when I've never been to the US and am honestly not familiar with their capital cities
, the impact of seeing say, Sydney or Melbourne speculated upon in the same way would be amazing.
Lots of great suggestions! Thank you!
A couple of docos I have watched that I haven't seen mentioned that I really enjoyed:-
'A Summer in the Cage' - deals with one mans struggle with Bipolar
'Bhutto' - very interesting documentary on the Bhutto family, focuses mainly on Benazir Bhutto, but, also looks at her father Zulkifar who founded the PPP and her time in jail, exile and interviews with her children, niece and sister.
'Capitalism - A Love Story' - Michael Moore doco, although I've seen I think all of his mainstream stuff, this one I probably lean towards in my top 5.
'A Place for Paedophiles' - Another Louis Theroux documentary, looking at a jail after jail of sorts for paedophiles.
