Shopgirl, i find myself pressing Alt on my work laptop when it is the apple key in the macbook. I find Windows so annoying and slow. It makes me cry! Apple has more money than the US govt and you will understand when you use this!

Stml ^^ it's more than a laptop. It's happiness you can buy and wrapped in a metallic silver case. It's so happy it can even fit into an envelope. It's lighter than L at birth. SWOONNN...

Awwww Essy, I hope you sort it out. Financial decisions always drives me nuts.

Back from Perth-they can't fix Noah's vision-he has scars on the macula (part of the retina) in his right and eye and the left side shows some changes.  So the ophthalmologist is going to consult a professor who specialises in retinal conditions for his opinion.  His MRI was all good so that is good original.gif  So yeah that is all I know for now the dr only talked to me quickly when Noah was in recovery.

Hope all is well with everyone else x

Thanks lex.

Essy, I can't believe these problems are still happening, you poor thing. I do see form your status today that you had some sucess last night, so that must be a huge relief.

RD; Thaks for the update, hopefully this professor comes up with a good solution for Noah. Is this problem going to be degenerative at all? Hopefully it will stay the same and get no worse xx

Shopgirl: Sandwiches have been served up for months here. We use fairly standard toppings, vegemite & cheese, ham & cheese, ham & hommus, peanut butter (which she didn't care for but had no reaction to!), her favourite would probably be hommus and cheese (slightly melted cheese), the laziest I do is cream cheese. She likes it, but I try not to do it too often. Oh yeah she likes avocado too..anything goes really.

AFUS: Frey is still sick, but doing better. She managed to reinfect Paige (after her birthday at least) and I have a sore throat and a cough as well. So all us girls are sick. We had to skip swimming again yesterday - so far this term PAige has only managed 1.5 classes. Grr such a waste of money. I doubt she will be able to go into care tomorrow either - was to be her first long day - and the way it's worked out my first free hours - but nope. So there is more money down the drain. Sorry to whinge about dough, I don't normally, I just hate wasting it, paying for things we don't get to do sad.gif

Paige's birthday went well, the cake turned out quite good. All but one person showed up to her party, she got too many presents, but seemed to enjoy herself. She also got overtired, and didn't go down for a nap in the afternoon, but amazingly stayed in good spirits. Ohj yeah - she gave herself a tooth for her birthday! I had seen it was close the day before, and yep, it cracked through and was there in the morning of her birthday - and she has cross cut! I can see the other side is close, hope they come down fast so I can get some great pics before the top front turn up.

Off to lie on couch xx

I hope you had a lovely day on Saturday. I'm very sorry this message is so late sad.gif .
hheart.gif Aunty Sunshine

Have a super day today!

RD Fibromyalgia- that makes some sense with your energy levels. I'm going to have to do some reading up on that and Lupus as well to really understand them.
Are you relieved to find a diagnosis now?
Would laser surgery help Noah?
I cannot believe what your family has gone through in the last 12+ months hhugs.gif

M4S no laser can't help his eye sad.gif As for me the FM sort of makes your muscles sore but I am yet to read about it laughing2.gif the lupus makes you tired etc as it attacks your body tissues and I have the SLE (systemic lupus erythamatosis) (spelling?) which means it can attack all parts which explains the sore joints, lung scarring/pleurisy and the skin and sun issues, mouth ulcers, dry eyes and skin.  It is a relief that I have a diagnosis and a good doctor.

What else has been happening feel like all I talk about is me and my health!

Thanks M4S! She did have a lovely day. We went to my Great Nanas 90th on the Saturday and she quite enjoyed all the attention there. Then her party was on the Sunday and oh my god I've never seen one little child eat so much. We all had a great day though but was exhausted.

Poor Addison almost missed the start of the party. She still goes down for her first sleep at 9 and normally only does an hour but 11am came and she was still asleep!! I had to wake her up!

RD - Good to hear you have finally had a diagnosis! Glad to hear Noah has recovered well as well and hopefully you get more answers soon.

STML - Glad Paige enjoyed her party as well. Addison was also overtired by the afternoon of her party and struggled to go down, she did sleep for a little bit though and went down no problems at 7pm. There was just so much to do on the day though there was no way she would of gone to sleep at her normal nap time.
Addison also got lots of presents. She is a very lucky little girl!

Happy Birthday to Immy for yesterday! I think you may be the last one?

Hi to everyone else!

Where is everyone???

All good here, Paige has 3 more teeth on the way, so disappointed, when she cross cut I've been looking forward to getting a 'fangs' picture, but next tooth (in the next day or two) will actually be her top front (next to the side that has come through) then it will be a race between the other side top and front as I can see them both coming. So no fang picture sad.gif

Lots happening on the house, I'm getting quite excited, we have been told to expect a quote back tomorrow, and possibly another one this week too. One guy had to pull out of quoting as he has too much on, it's a real shame he is a great builder. Keep your fingers crossed that they come in around budget......

STML - I was hoping for a fangs pic with Jackson too laughing2.gif But within a day of the lateral incisors finally appearing, the two central incisors appeared! So, alas, no fangs - sure are sharp though!

Yes I am getting married soon biggrin.gif

Sorry I've been MIA, lot's of wedding stuff to do and I've basically been confined to the lounge with Addison being sick. She seems to be looking a lot better tonight though.

It's lovely weather here at the moment! I'm enjoying being able to dress Addison in only one layer of clothes instead of 5.

I have my hair and make up trial this sunday! Completely forgot it was Father's Day when I booked it but it means DF can have some lovely daddy daughter time  laughing2.gif

We haven't had any teeth for ages! Got 4 up the top and 2 down the bottom but it's been about 4 months since they all came in.

ETA - Ok apparently I'm a liar. It is no longer lovely weather, a thunderstorm has just started!

here miss biggrin.gif

Just enjoying the beautiful weather us Melbournians are having lately. Taj loves being outside crawling on the grass and picking up the bark and dirt glare.gif anyway when we take him inside he cry1.gif

Had his 12 month check and he is just shy of 9.5kg, I would've sworn he was 10kg at least. MCHN also picked up a SLIGHT squint and told us to go to gp to get a referal to an Ophthalmologist, which I did and we go September 28th. It is very slight but thought getting it checked can't hurt.

stml we've had reinfection issues here as well, urgh! bring on the warm weather everyday PLEASE

All this sun makes me yyawn.gif that's probably because I get out as soon as I can (kiddies permitting) in the garden and just fluff round out there then I come inside and the place is a disgrace so have to get that organised as well (which doesn't always happen, such a waste of time housework grin.gif )

#47 whydoibother

M4S get it checked as Noah's was only slight and well he had the worst outcome sad.gif He will have the surgery next year I think-his opthamologist just said to call him when we want it done and he will do it which is for cosmetic reasons as his eye is stuffed and yeah sounds sillly but he will have a hard enough time without getting picked on for a funny eye.  Having said that he may only need patching of the good eye to strengthen the muscles in the squinty eye.  Sam is the same with the garden he throws dirt over his head laughing2.gif

AFUS Sam is very whingey last few days I think it is teething on top of the non-stop cold.  he is a cranky franky!

waves.gif !!

I typed a response over a week ago on my work computer and forgot to post it ... argh, probably gone now!

Anyway hhhiiiiii ... I lurk too, not much to say, another one who's getting out in the sun, FINALLY!

Poor E (and DH and me!) have all had this runny/stuffy nose/head cold horrible thing that just does NOT seem to want to go away!!  We are coming up on two weeks!!  E is sssslllloowwwlllyy improving as she can eat and drink a little easier now but still avoids trying to breathe through her nose most of the time.

KMA not long to go now, HOW EXCTING!!  Please post a piccie or two here for the non FB'ers please please original.gif

We haven't had any teeth for a while here either but I think it might be the reason I got a 5am wake up this morning ph34r.gif  She has two top, two bottom, then at some stage without me noticing at all, maybe 3-4 weeks ago she got a bottom molar!!!  ffear.gif  Since then, even though the lateral incisors have been RIGHT. THERE. for months, nothing else has happened.  But she is so fragile this morning I think they might be finally on the way.

I am so glad it's spring... I want to refresh this house, new smells, new cushion covers, etc so that it doesn't feel like the same wintery old thing.  AND I want to start Christmas shopping!! That's right!  'Cos at least if I AIM to do it now, I MIGHT have it done by December Tounge1.gif

Arghh! All disappeared!

I'm still here, very busy with the build stuff, getting quotes back etc

We took the girls to the snow yesterday biggrin.gif Was great fun, 20cm+, we were the only people on them mountain besides the ranger! We had a ball, Paigey got too cold after about an hour playing, so Stu took her to the warm room and started changing her, whilst Frey and I made a quick snowman. Had such a great time original.gif
